The showers were hot, and the pressure was great. There is good space in the cabin for 4 kids and 2 adults. Kids absolutely loved being so close to the beach, having the playground & jumping pillow right at their doorstep & they especially loved the pool. 1st time staying & definitely will return, had a squiz around the communal kitchen, and it looks well equipped also. Tasman Holiday Park is good value for your money & kids will not be disappointed with what's on offer here.

As stated there were 6 of us but only had 4 towels in our cabin. Once we realized we tried to ring through but it was after hours by then. Also, being a bigger cabin for families, I think having atleast 1 extra rubbish bag available wouldn't be a bad idea.

My husband reckons that out of all the places we've ever stayed in Aotearoa, the fact he and my boys were able to manu in the pool made it the best! lol Our room wasn't ready when we arrived so we were upgraded to a bigger room. Loved the environment, location, and all facilities.

A minor thing was not knowing that we had to take our towels to reception and retrieve new ones from there until I called to ask qhy we didn't have new ones. I'm not sure if I missed the memo or if I was meant to look somewhere else for that info?

Everything, location & facilities are amazing!! This was the 2nd time we have stayed & we will definately be back again in January and again in Dec next year, we have made this an annual December holiday and our group of friends & family gets bigger each year as everyone loves it so much & tells tells their friends. Bonus was we caught plenty of fish surfcasting off the beach ⛱

Nothing at all

Location, facilities and staff/ communication were excellent. There was a power cut for a couple of hours on our first night, we received a text message from the staff to alert us that the issue was being sorted which we thought was courteous of them to do. They provided us with candles, and also a care package with some goodies for the inconvenience. Overall was a beautiful place to stay right on the oceans edge.

Waking up to the sound of noisy kids playing outside, at 8am each morning. LOL. Just kidding, but fr it’s to be expected!

Loved our cabin was right next to the communal areas and games room such a plus for the kids! The bikes for the kids were a hit as was the pool and jumping pillow which were all in view from the front deck of the cabin 🙌 BBQ was right there and some lovely picnic tables we were able to utilize. Also the welcome text and check out text were such a beautiful gesture. And the staff were so friendly with that good old kiwi spirit, Great work!

The only thing we didn't like was that we didn't book for longer! We will definitely be back

My cabin had everything I needed for comfort except toilet and shower which was not far to walk to. . Great location . well setout camping grounds for kids entertainment and nice size outdoor swimming pool.

The cabin did not have a fan or Air conditioning so it would get hot in the summer meaning windows and doors would need to be open .

My partner and I absolutely loved this Holiday park, the beach is at your door the activities for the children are there especially if needing a break. I will be revisiting this Holiday park throughout my years. The staff are awesome, very friendly making sure we have everything we needed whilst our stay. 10 out of 10 Tasman.

We loved everything. Absolutely no icks at all.

Really clean facilities. Being right on the beach was a bonus. Because of the time of year it almost felt like we had the place to ourselves. It was a little bit off the beaten track but that made it all the more attractive. Only 10 to 15 minutes to Opotiki so easy access to shops etc. I only wish we had more time there to explore the regional park which was on the back doorstep.

This is a great property! We stayed in the kitchen cabin, as an upgrade. Brilliant spot right near the bouncing cushion. Good location near the beach! Staff are lovely!!

The tv must need to be connected to something for it to work. As it worked for the day that we told them something. Was fixed immediately but didn’t work on arrival nor on the day of leaving.

Great facilities, the beach access was super convenient for us. Visitor passes are cheap and affordable. The staff were awesome as well, there was a small hiccup with rooms that was quickly fixed. We will be back again.
