Cozy, spacious room, modern fittings, modern bathroom, good wifi, TV easy to handle. Good lightening from different sources. Check-in information was clear and good for me Good value for money. 2 supermarkets nearby Very close to a tram station with regular trams to city and railway station (unless traffic is interrupted by construction work, as in March 2025 the case)

Security. Main door always open. This is NOT acceptable. Risk of people breaking into rooms or homeless people staying in lobby. Not sure, hopefully they have at least CCTV. Therefore, I did not leave valuables in my room. Nothing for grandma or grandpa. I had to help an older man from Iraq with check-in at machine. Not to blame hotel for it. Tracks of tram are repaired now. From railway station must first take a subway (U 11, 17 or 18 or 105) to Berliner Platz, then (poor description at station) take a bus 101, 103 or 105 two more stations to Kronenburg stop. I strongly recommend the hotel to inform guests in their automatic mail about these transport options. The connecting buses are very frequent.

Aldi Supermarket nearby in the same complex.

Lifts did not work from 14.10. Afternoon to 16.10. morning. Everybody has access to hotel and no staff in hotel. This could be dangerous one day. Hotel should allow access to hotel only with door code.

The room was very clean, neat and comfortable. You can see that they take good care of the rooms and put attention in how they clean and attend to them. The beds were very comfortable and we had a great night's sleep! It was easily accessible, we found it with no trouble at all. We also appreciated the smart TV.

The hotel entrance was not secure, and anyone could enter the place. It felt a bit strange and potentially dangerous for anyone to be able to come inside, without any measure of identification or security.

Both of our rooms were lovely, comfortable and clean. message sent when rooms were ready and door codes meant it was easy when we arrived as there is no reception. Having visited before it was nice to be back, the underground parking at the rear was great

Nothing - only annoying thing was idiots in the car park at 7am driving laps with loud music playing. Most sensible people would be in bed at that time on a Sunday morning!!!!!

Really clean and light. Good location to local tram stop for access to Essen and the train station. Comfortable beds.

Maybe a fan as it got pretty warm in the night. No coffee / tea making facilities but appreciate that’s not the norm all across Europe. There was quite a lot of external noise given the retail car park. It was over the weekend but a few cars racing around the car park at times and loud car music. Didn’t necessarily spoil the stay though.

Great basic room, you have everything you need. Very clean

The windows were strange, you needed a key to open or close the window. In the first room the window was open and we couldn't close him. The is no one from the staff at night,we called on the phone and got another room. In this one, the situaton was the same. In the third room the window was closed. Tomorrow morning, the cleaning crew unlocked the window.

There was an online self-check-in which gave us a code key to access the room - hence convenient if arriving late. There was underground parking available (need to drive from the back side of the building - follow instructions in the check-in email). We stayed with a dog, for which we paid extra 10e. The room was clean, the shower was great - had strong water pressure, was spacious. There was TV with Netflix in the room too. The location is great as there is number of local restaurants around as well as grocery shops available.

The bed was too hard for our liking. Also, the neighbourhood is a bit loud - we had a number of people throughout the night shout/sing under our room windows.

Stopover on my journey from Berlin to UK. Excellent value for money. Clean and a comfortable bed and pillow. Basic but modern. Perfect for a short rest, probably not for long term stay due to location in a retail park.

Door knob did not turn and we struggled to get into the room. There were no staff on site. Luckily after a few attempts the door finally opened.

Only issue was with the parking situation, reached hotel around 11PM, there was no information regarding the closure of parking garage after 10PM. Customer care was hard to reach in the night, struggled for around 1 hour to get into a call with customer care and to know where to park.

easy parking position was convenient for me but not for going downtown, close to a train station anyway surrounding pretty dull as it's a business district price was completely out of scale but only because of the period, it is good in general
