Had everything we needed for a weeks stay, it was great to be able to cross the road and be straight into the forest - the staff happily sorted us out with more pans to cook with when we asked! Breakfast bits were appreciated (bread, butter, jam, milk, cereals). We don't drive, and we were able to access the property via train to Tunbridge Wells and then getting the 1066 bus. We also ordered an ASDA delivery in with no hassle!

Wifi was pretty slow. We did request one of the rooms with a double bed and a sofa, but instead had two double beds, which for a weeks stay made things a bit cramped and had no sofa to sit on. Also, the blinds in our cabin were a bit temperamental and awkward to shut - some didn't close all the way down, which didn't feel the most private.

Lots of attention to detail given (toiletries, kitchen facilities, condiments, etc). Cabin had everything we needed (family of four) with plenty of room to move about. Cabin was lovely and warm, and the blackout blinds work a treat to keep it dark at night. Would highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if visiting the area.

Mattress on bed was softer than we would like. Would have been great to be able to recycle our cardboard, plastic waste etc we had during our stay. We couldn't see any recycling bins but would be very keen to recycle if offered.

The cabin was cosy and clean and it was a lovely touch having a loaf of bread, a 4 pint of milk, orange juice and cereals waiting for us on arrival. There was also some menus for local takeaways which was also appreciated. The cabin was well equipped and we were able to prepare a meal and enjoy it. There was also soaps and mini shampoos and towels to which we wasn’t expecting. We really enjoyed our stay and would revisit in future.

The accommodation met all our needs and we really enjoyed our stay. As much as I hate to comment on Wi-Fi as you don’t go away for that, it’s become such an expectation to have wi-fi that you notice it when it’s not up to scratch and that’s probably the only slight issue we had. We wasn’t able to connect to the wi-fi but it wasn’t hugely inconvenient but was the only thing I “didn’t like” but not enough that I wouldn’t stay again 😊

Everything went well, from check in to departure 2 nights later. Cabin was in a secluded area of the complex with everything in you could want. Comfy bed and pilllows, good shower and toilet facilities and seating area with TV and internet. Kitchen well appointed and comfy dining chairs, biggest surprise was the inclusion of breakfast ingredients. Cereals, bottle of milk and a loaf of toastie bread all included. Very pleased with our experience, we’d book again.

Friendly, personal welcome and the fact that my lodge had been prepared in advance of my later arrival with the heater on and outside light on so I could find my way. Perfect location for my work at Bewl Water. Lovely lodge with a layout that managed to feel both cosy and roomy. Clean, warm, comfortable, great shower. Just perfect!

If I was being really picky the lighting in the kitchen area wasn't great, yet it was fine for what I needed

The unit was clean and tidy and provisioned with a range of breakfast cereals, bread and spreads and orange juice for breakfasts during the stay. There was also plenty of on site parking available. The unit was set back from the road , so there wasn't much traffic noise.

The bed was a bit firmer than our liking, and like a lot of accommodation seems to do, there was only a duvet. When it felt too warm during the night there was no option to remove a blanket to regulate the temperature.

The whole place was lovely. It was quiet and I had to work and the internet was a dream! Really enjoyed it, I stayed with my 2 daughters!

Would have liked free view TV. We were there to work and school so the evenings were spent inside so it would have been good to have some on demand channels.

There is lots to like about the lodge. It was well equipped, clean and spacious. The complimentary breakfast (cereals & toast) were a particularly nice and unexpected touch, with options for the children, as well as the adults. The black out blinds and quiet location ensured a good sleep. The black out blinds being particularly useful for kids on a summer evening who won’t sleep until it’s dark! We had a warm welcome and it felt a safe place to be.

Extremely clean, came with all the little things you need to make your stay comfortable eg hand soap, Sponge and washing up liquid. There was even a fan which was fab because it was a hot day. Rooms were soundproofed, which was great as we have small children.

There was nothing that we didn't like although if we had to choose something, it is a quiet location maybe not ideal for small children to run around.

Great location everything you need for a base. The facilities available perfectly match our needs and the accommodation is spacious and clean and the site quiet. This was our third visit and we will be back.

Mattress was a bit uncomfortable . Also had trouble with the basin in the bathroom and the bathroom floor is a bit creaky but this is being very picky. Could do with some spare bin liners.
