Great location for everything you want to see. Great views. Comfy beds. Agent was very helpful with any issues.

A lot of stairs so not suitable for all. No where to park nearby with our luggage. No pass left for parking zones as stated. Car park nearby was rammed ! Had to Park a long way away. Sparsely equipped. Toilet blocked when we arrived. Hot water supply was tepid. All form filling on line to check in and check out, which you only find out about after you book, then an extra one Hundred pounds deposit required that then took over two weeks to get back! Too much required of people on holiday ! Wouldn’t book again…

The location

The apartment is advertised luxury, but I don’t feel it is, the paintwork needs touching up, some of the wallpaper is ripped, the TV didn’t work properly and the kitchen is unequipped , the plates are cheap, could do with a hairdryer.

The property had everything we needed. It was in a fantastic location walking distance to a lot of things. Beds were comfortable, shower was warm and the view from the dining room window just beautiful. We went for dinner at the Abbey Restaurant I think it was, for fish and chips and then across the road to the Angel Hotel in the morning for breakfast. Both really good meals. There was a paid parking site on Church Street which was VERY close to the apartment. Can be a bit iffy to snag a park but late afternoon and early morning are ok.

Location, light and bright, view from the window

Dishwasher was full of dirty pots when we got there. No tea towels , dish cloths or dustpan and brush to clean up. No mention on emails that we should have bought them with us. No lamps next to bed on bed side cabinets. Shower leaked all over the bathroom floor every time we used it. The stairs are really creaky and loud when walking and n them, we were worried about disturbing other guests.

The view was fantastic to watch, right at the Whitby Harbour Bridge, you pop out right at all the shops and streets you want to go check out. Huge apartment to enjoy.

Felt there could have been a few more things that other places provide such as tea towels, a few dishwasher tablets, hand towels, more kitchen ware,. Maybe a book with info about the place. Small things I know but would have liked.

location and comfort

standard check in time at this property is 5pm…. outrageous I know. The owners know what they are doing to get a few extra quid more. we were left no choice but to pay for early check in. (scandalous and morally wrong)

Excellent location and great window views. Comfortable living area and very pleasant bedrooms. Apartment kept clean and kitchen amenities supplied. Fantastic, prompt communication with owner.

With regards to value for money, where this is a highly subjective view, I personally think the default late check-in is not the most convenient. The times set for check in and check out also mean that you do not get a full 24h stay for the price of the booking. Otherwise, no concerns.

The key code instructions very easy to follow. Slight issue opening the front door but after speaking with host (who was very gracious and helpful) the problem was averted. Location was great, with a fab view of the dock (via the roof style windows). Room had lovely wood beam features.

Some dust was visible (more under beds and in ceiling corners) but overall very clean. Accommodation not suitable if someone struggles with stairs.

Fab location and friendly host

There were 6 of us staying in flat 1. Advertised as 3 double beds but not made clear that one is in the living area, a partition screen would help privacy. Only 5 dining chairs and 5 mugs available and hilariously 1 toilet roll for 2 nights stay for 6 ladies 😂

The location was excellent, central to the whole of Whitby and with it being goth weekend, it was great to sit in the window and people watch in the mornings before getting ready and joining the crowds.

Couldn't fault anything at all. The only problem in Whitby is there isn't enough parking but I managed to find a space.
