Loved the building, location, hosts, breakfasts, and selection of hot drinks in the room and water bottle. Lovely fluffy clean and fresh towels and toiletries supplied, too. I felt totally at ease as a solo traveller. Breakfasts were great. You can interact with the other guests and the host Richard, or look out the window. Either way, you will enjoy a lovely breakfast from a good selection. It was my first time at a B and B and a very enjoyable experience.
Now, it is hard to find anything that could be better. I didn't think I would like the no contact with the host on arrival, but I actually did. My room was a single and a little small for me. This was totally outweighed by all the positives.

What a beautiful, clean guest house. It was spotless. Set in an ideal location to all amenities, just down from the whale bones. Our room was spacious, which is unusual in a guest house. You could actually swing MORE than a cat! Breakfast was included in our stay. The menu had a nice selection to choose from. We opted for the full english, and it was delicious. It's the little things that make a good impression for me. Alongside tea & coffee in our room, there was also a large bottle of water. There were extra milk, coffee & tea bags you could pick up daily in the lobby. The proprietors, Richard and Joanne, were very friendly and chatty and made us feel very welcomed. If we visit Whiby again, Number 7 guest house will be our first choice in accommodation.

Great location, had free parking (although limited spaces directly around the guest house), clean and comfortable, breakfast was great, friendly personnel. Good communication from the owners/contactless check-in system was easy and had me with all I needed. I also appreciated the novelty of this address being a location featured in Dracula.
Nothing comes to mind, except the general warning to get there early if you want one of the parking spots right outside the building. There did seem to be other parking options around, but could be a pain if peak season and you have accessibility needs.

Excellent location, lovely room, comfy bed, clean, breakfasts fantastic, hosts were lovely and attentive and got free parking permit.
Hardly anything! - 3 very minor points! We would have liked a sea view room but not essential! Maybe we were too late in booking, not sure. We would have liked to have sat near the main sea front window on one of the 3 breakfast times we had but we’re on the same table away from the window on each occasion. We couldn’t get parked in front of the guest house and had to drive around for a while to find a space - bit it was a very busy time in the town. We eventually found one round the corner.

I was originally going to Whitby for a beach break with my dog a month before going but before booking. He passed away. So last minute found this little gem and it was perfect for a little R&R. The room...infact the whole house was very clean and welcoming. The bed was comfy and the breakfast was chefs kiss, with a choice between cooked breakfast and continental breakfast. The owners were accommodating and lovely and I have booked to go again in September.

Great location with stunning views across Whitby Harbour, the Abbey, the stairway and St Mary’s church. Good size, spotlessly clean, room. Comfy bed. Great breakfast choices. Richard and Joanne were extremely welcoming hosts. Highly recommend.
A parking permit was available however finding a space was difficult but we visited during rare clash of Regatta weekend and the start of folk week and Whitby was very busy. Once parked up we didn’t move the car until departure so wasn’t a problem. I understand that parking is not usually such an issue.

We liked everything about our stay, before we arrived Richard the owner contacted me with all the details I required to make our check in easy and efficient, on our arrival we found the room spotless and comfortable, We had a great sleep the bed was comfortable and the area is quiet. The following morning we went to the breakfast room and was greeted by Richard and shown to our table, the breakfast cooked freshly by Joanne was very tasty, they use local produce and it’s cooked to perfection Richard was attentive to everyone’s needs. Can’t wait to return. You can’t go wrong staying here Thank you to you both for your hospitality

We stayed for our wedding anniversary Saturday to Monday. We haven’t stayed in Whitby before so this was a great find for us! Ideal location, hosts are brilliant too. Breakfast was absolutely amazing and lots of choice. Parking permit supplied which is so easy, and saves worrying about the car. 5 minute stroll (on a hill so be aware if you have mobility issues) and views stunning too. Room clean, spacious and top floor.
Nothing !!

Location was spot on if you want to visit Whitby only a few minutes walk to harbor front and tourist spots but far enough away so your not disturbed by noise etc. We was in room 5 and you could easily organize all tourist sights you'd want to visit from the great view from the window we had. Breakfast was well cooked and there was a decent choice of options to cater for most peoples palate. Car park permit was very handy and I found a space easily opposite the B&B. Owners were friendly and made us feel very welcome and the room was very clean as were all the communal areas.
Nothing really the B&B advertised with pics and good reviews were what we found

Lovely location, great view of the Abbey, breakfast was plenty. Host very welcoming at breakfast time. Bed comfortable, had a great nights sleep
Bathroom was a little on the small size. Had to remember to place order for breakfast the day before, we nearly forgot on the sat and had to come back to the hotel earlier to place the order. We were in the attic room, hubby banged his head on the sloping ceiling a few times as he is very tall.
