wonderful relaxing weekend staying here. pristine accommodation, beautifully presented room . spacious and well equipped bedroom. overall feel was warm and comfortable. excellent host's. friendly welcoming and helpful. breakfast cooked by Tim was amazing. Good selection of items on the breakfast menu to choose from. Great location. quiet and away from the bustle that can be Whitby. garden area to sit in. excellent suntrap in the evening.

you would have to be really picky to find fault here. we have stayed all over the east coast, and this is one of the best bed and breakfasts we have stayed in.

Great location very nice quiet area. Lovely bedroom large spacious clean and little nice touches for valentines day. Breakfast superb fresh toast and cooked food brilliant. Hosts friendly and attentive for stocking up tea n coffee etc.

Nothing really everything was great. My only problem is the check in where if it is 2 o clock onwards you are left planning what to do if you arrive before 2pm. It would be better to have an option however this is a problem with many hotel/guesthouses these days.

There was nothing to Diss like five star all round fantastic

Super clean, everything we needed in the room, actually we were surprised and had two bedrooms in the suite. The hosts were super friendly and helpful and even gave us freshly baked food when we’d returned from our day out. Breakfast was lovely. We didn’t have the cooked breakfast but it did look wonderful. We had fruit, cereals, yogurt and toast which set up for the day. Great location. Would definitely stay again

The breakfast was great, very filling and good choice of dishes, served really quickly. Bed really comfortable. Nice quiet accommodation. Good sized cups for tea with the tea/ coffee making facilities. Decent hairdryer in the room. Parking process was great as received a parking pass from the host to leave in car, so there are no extra costs for parking.

Everything was good..

The room was cosy, the bed was really comfortable, the hotel smelt really nice and the hosts were lovely. Parking was really simple too. The breakfast was gorgeous, a lot to choose from and everything was fresh. They definitely get the bacon and sausage from a local butchers. The hotel is really close to the beach and isn't a far away walk from all the shops and cafes. A really pleasant and accommodating stay.

There wasn't really anything to dislike, I think the shower head in the bathroom was well used but even that isn't really anything to complain about.

Our room was very clean and had everything needed for our short stay, plenty of storage, a very comfy bed, coffee, tea and a small cooler. Breakfast was first class, served by the owners who were great. The location was good for us with no town noise at any time. Would definitely stay here again.

Nothing not to like here for us.

Our room was light and airy with modern clean decor. The bed was comfortable as were the easy chairs. There was an abundance of hot water. Breakfast was first class with several choices. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay again when next in the area

There was nothing I felt could have improved our stay for us at Pinewood House

Location was perfect, close to centre and harbour! Once we had found a parking space (in the W zone which was for holiday accommodation) we collected a permit from the b&b and that it was it for the weekend. Everything was spotlessly clean, from the room to the cutlery in the dining room! Breakfast was great and plenty of it And the hosts were really lovely people and so friendly and welcoming!

Can’t fault it in any way.

Nice and clean, owners were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely, with a variety of options. Must say, the eggs were the best I’ve had anywhere. Great view of the Abbey as you come out of the property. For us the walk down to the front was never an issue

Only real problem we had was the setting of the shower, with temperatures and the power of the shower. Nothing else was a problem
