Lucia and I had a lovely overnight and breakfast at Freshwater BnB, and were hosted very well by Scott and Wayne. The room and bathroom were well appointed and fresh, the bed was very comfortable. The kitchen coffee/tea making facility was great and breakfast timing and buffet options were very flexible. We enjoyed our time so much we stayed for another overnight the next week to conclude our stay in the beautiful Hervey Bay area. Looking forward to returning soon and staying an Freshwater once more.

We had no compaints, we enjoyed our stay very much and feel the home and BnB are very good value for travellers.

Stayed in Garden Suite on lower level, room amazing, had own little outside sitting area.Room spacious and beautifully presented. Bed comfortable beautiful linen, lounge area and huge TV with Netflix and google and wifi perfect. Numerous toiletries provided. Plenty of drawers and hanging space for clothes. Tea and coffee complimentary all day. Breakfast was amazing, help yourself so much choice and access to kitchen area to cook. Restaurants all around within a few min walk. Bikes also available to use. Far exceeded expectations.

Decadence and class, every detail to the max and experience of being taken care of - unique rooms, fabulous breakfast as a work of art displayed beautifully and made with love - we ate lots :) The interior of the rooms was lush and lavish - all the modern tech and perfect to chill out in - lots of little extras like choccies on arrival and a goodiebag to go for on the road

Thoroughly enjoyed our two overnight stays 8 and 14 August 23. The room was very comfortable and beautifully set up. Loved the kitchen facilities and the breakfast options. One of the nicest places I’ve stayed in during my trip. Spacious room, latest technology, welcome- and goodbye- snacks, wonderful breakfast, beautiful garden, a range of cosmetic products, friendly and helpful housekeeper and host. Shops and restaurants in walking distance and lots of helpful information provided.

Fabulous self-serve breakfast with the best range of jams I’ve ever seen. Our room was clean and comfy and the chocolates on the bed were a nice touch.

Really minor things. The bathtub could do with an anti-slip mat and the cold tap for the shower needs fixing. I’d have liked tissues in the room but believe that was an oversight as other guests said they had tissues in their rooms.

From the moment we arrived at this beautiful place we knew we were in the right place. Scott welcomed us with open arms, showed and explained everything. The room was clean, comfy and well decorated, the choice of creams and toiletries in the bathroom astonished me; what a thoughtful gesture for your guests!! The beach and restaurants were within walking distance from the residence. My partner and I were blown away by the breakfast, which included freshly baked bread and a big variety of jams and sauces. The breakfast table was elegantly arranged with fine tableware. Thank you for your hospitality!

Everything was great!!!!!

This was our first time trying a B & B and we were very pleasantly surprised. This one was exceptionally lovely, the decor and little extra details were wonderful. We felt like we were in a beautiful house and not a motel. Scott was very helpful and was there in an instant if we rang him for help with any of the 'gadgets' that we couldn't work out. Those toiletries in the bathroom for you to use were amazing. So close to the shops , eateries and the beach, having the dining and kitchen area to use whenever we liked was a bonus, especially with music piped through everywhere you went, even in the garden, it was all so very relaxing. Having a communal breakfast was also a nice surprise and we met other guests and had a great chat over our breakfast as they were on holiday from Switzerland.

The location was excellent. It was 1 block back from the water and within walking distance of a number of restaurants and cafes. The Continental breakfast offered a wide choice of cereals, freshly baked bread and a huge array of condiments as well. There was a Coffee machine at our disposal at all times and a small bar fridge if you fancied a beer or wine. Scott is an excellent host and nothing was too much trouble.

Unfortunately there is no onsite parking so you will need to park out on the street.

Very comfortable stay in niche accommodation. The rooms are clean and welcoming with fabulous extra touches. We were in a downstairs room which was spacious and well laid out. Breakfast choices include a variety of cereals, bread (freshly made) and a range of gourmet jams and preserves, fruit, eggs. - and more. The kitchen is available 24 hours. Overall this was an excellent stay. The beach is a two minute walk away, and several excellent restaurants are within walking distance.
