Breakfast needs healthier options. Better proteins without sugar fat or salt and fiber cereals like shredded wheat without sugar. Fresh fruit like blueberries to go with plain yogurt. The floors in the room definitely needed to be vacuumed and mopped. Other than that bed was perfect and location of hotel was great. Close to Walmart and to Bath

Room was very clean, staff very courteous and helpful. The breakfast was enough to get you on your way.

The room could use some cosmetic assistance. One corner of the wall was very crudely repaired. The wood board under the bath sink was in very poor condition. All simple cosmetic repairs that did not really affect our stay tremendously. One expects this stuff done is all.

Room was very comfortable and spacious. Housekeeping came in every day. Close proximity to restaurants and shops. The staff were very courteous and friendly

There is no pool on the property. An outdoor sitting area in the summer would be a great addition to this hotel. The continental breakfast area is very small, but it was never crowded during our stay.

Good location, comfortable room, friendly staff, good complimentary breakfast, decently priced for coastal Maine during peak tourist season. Like that it is 100% nonsmoking, even within 20’ or so of building

There was a rather strong chemical smell when we first arrived, but we assume it was due to having just been cleaned. Otherwise, no complaints

We are repeat visitors. Rooms are always clean and staff has always been very helpful Pricing is fair and I would be allowed to cancel at a later date if needed.

Door to bathroom was difficult to close. Shower handle was loose. Most important things were ok. I should have asked for a handicap room as shower would have been more safe for me.

very clean, attractive colors with renovation, loved huge "oceanside" photo on the wall, staff responded quickly to replacing 2 burnt out light bulbs in lamps, as requested they placed us on first floor with no stairs to climb

Location of parking spots was not close to the front door of the room, path a bit circuitous

Nice, clean place, spacious room, friendly stuff! I don't know why they have bad reviews - after reading them, I had concerns, but it was a great experience. Maybe they went through a renovation since the bad reviews..? Everything was clean and modern looking, the bed was comfy, didn't hear anything from the other rooms. The staff was super friendly and they were happy to see my dog (for a $20/night fee)

Upon my checking out , I requested a copy of my receipt for my stay . The desk clerk that morning spoke little Rnglish and was new to the job. I provided my e-mail to send me the copy of which zip have mot received as of this writing ?

Bed was comfy. Staff was friendly. Rooms were nice and renovated. Parking was easy. Its a standard hotel for a couple of days stay. It's maybe nothing fancy, but its's a nice and solid hotel on the points that matter. It is close to many attractions in the area between Portland and Acadia park. The price cant be beat. Its nice to get this kind of hotel that is convenient t0o the highway, and doesn't cost 3x to 4x as much.

I always like a bit of an expanded breakfast, including doughnut bacon/sausage and omelets. The breakfast area was fine, but could use a little improvement.

Breakfast a bit weak, but okay, breakfast room small. Only 2 miles to Frosty Donuts best in area. A bit expensive but welcome to Maine. All hotels are overpriced in Maine.
