The location is phenomenal. If you want to get to the bus or train station, it’s literally right behind you. It cannot be closer and it’s quiet. Their people are very, very nice. In fact, there are very eager to accommodate my stay. It’s so close to downtown restaurants shops whatever you want. By the way, the bed is like sleeping on a cloud Oh yeah, the restaurant called Noble over there some of the best clam chowder I’ve ever eaten. Try it it is very unique.! Also the gym is not bad either. It will get the job done.

Bartender was pleasant but overwhelmed and not trained for a full bar of patrons. She was very nice but I felt bad that she was so stressed with a full bar of Bowdoin parents. My suggestion is having additional trained bar staff available for weekends that have planned Bowdoin events. I felt bad she was so stressed out but she had no help. The manager that came to help could barely open a bottle of wine so forget about jumping in to sling some drinks and help alleviate the backlog of customers waiting patiently for 20plus minutes for 1 drink. Appreciate the effort though

Location, charming architecture
Service- missed towels in the room upon arrival. The room smelled like burnt charcoal even though we were there in July. We stayed 3 nights and the beds were never made up. Room service consisted of changing towels on multiple requests. Breakfast was mediocre with extremely limited selection, super slow service and extremely overpriced for the items consumed. For a boutique hotel I expected more.

Location was super convenient, and the staff was fantastic. I had an issue getting a table for dinner at the on-site restaurant without reservation, but the hotel staff were helpful in offering other suggestions of places to eat and trying to make things right. They were super accommodating when I checked in early, as well.
I think because I went in a more off-season time, the restaurant wasn't fully staffed, so be sure to make a reservation if you're planning to go there for dinner.

The Brunswick Hotel is clean, comfortable and couldn't be better situated in Brunswick. It's dog friendly, too! The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The parking lot is on the small size. Fortunately, we didn't have trouble finding parking on the street, but I'm not sure if that's always availabl.

Lovely, quaint hotel. Centrally located. Perfect for catching the Amtrak Downeaster. Staff are amazing and can’t do enough for you. We had dinner one night in the restaurant, as well as breakfast in the morning. The dinner was exceptional and the guests continental breakfast was great too. We would definitely stay here again when coming to friendly Brunswick as it’s a nice town. The Brunswick is definitely one of the best places to stay in the area and we highly recommend it.
Not much I can say in the negative. It was an amazing stay.

Great location next to the Bowdoin Campus and convenient to downtown. Visited friends in Harpswell and the Bowdoin College Art Museum to see the outstanding paintings of Monhegan. Great off season price and included a nice continental breakfast.
Beginning to show its age in the rooms. Exterior architecture is very nice as are the public areas. I believe a major renovation is planned so it will be closed for several months.

We spent 4 nights at this hotel and could not have been much happier. It is literally situated across the street from the Bowdoin College campus and within easy walking distance of the shops and restaurants located along Maine Street. The rooms and facilities are well maintained and we found every employee to be friendly. A complimentary continental breakfast is offered each morning that includes both fresh fruit and pastries. Freshly baked cookies are impossible, at least for me, to resist when offered in the late afternoon. In addition, its central location allowed us to explore a number of towns situated along Maine's mid-coast. There is little doubt that we will be returning.

Very convenient to walking around the town. The hotel is beautiful and the staff very accommodating. Great European continental breakfast. This was our third stay and we look forward to returning in the near future.
Nothing negative about our stay. We were hoping to have dinner there the night we stayed but the restaurant was closed. It was fine though. Chefs and staff need time off too! Found a great wood fired pizza place up the street which we enjoyed.

Location was good and extremely handy for the Concord Coach services south the Portland. We were visiting long time friends who live in Harpswell and we chose the hotel for ease of access for them. Good restaurant for an evening meal.
It would have been nice to have a toaster in the dining room for breakfast. I heard several guests mention this point.
