The location was excellent - close to Boothbay Harbor and Camden also. The breakfast was much more than I expected - hard-boiled eggs for protein, yogurt, fresh-baked muffins, sausage gravy and biscuits, waffles, cereal, fruit, etc. The woman who worked the front desk was excellent - very kind, and always asking about our needs.

One negative is that there really is no common area to meet with friends if you are traveling with a group. The lobby is tiny, and the breakfast room is closed after breakfast hours, I think because of staffing issues, as there is only one front desk worker at all times, and that also seems to be the person who preps breakfast. There is a gazebo on the grounds but its down a pretty steep hill.

Location was convenient for our plans in the area. There are minimal views of Wiscasset from the rooms' decks, but the facility mainly looks out over Route 1. The motel is small. It is dated and modest but very comfortable and accommodating. You can wander around the grounds and enjoy sitting outside in the Maine countryside. It's a good location for the midcoast, with great attractions not far away in all directions. Nick, a staff member, was very helpful on the phone prior to our stay.

Would be nice if the picnic tables outside the breakfast room were available 24/7. This is a place where you might bring in food to enjoy on the grounds, rather than going to a restaurant. Outdoor seating with tables is limited to the pool area, but very pleasant on a summer evening.

I was a little disappointed in the breakfast. There were no eggs, sausage, potatoes, bacon, and the normal things you would expect when paying that amount of money. However, there were waffles, muffins, bagels, yogurt, but the other items would have been nice as additional choices.

My wife and I were please with the property, the staff, and although the room was a little dated, it was very clean. It was a convenient, quiet location with beautiful grounds! We would definitely stay here again next year, as we travel throughout Maine

The hotel is very clean and well decorated. The beds were comfortable and the a/c - heating unit functioned flawlessly. Nice bathroom with great toiletries provided. Staff was super helpful with food recommendations, we were able to use DoorDash to have a pizza delivered which was an added bonus. There was Netflix, Prime Video and other streaming services available and we didn't have to use our accounts, there were accounts set up for guests which was very convenient.

NOTHING

The motel location was excellent! We were there with our grandchildren, who loved swimming in the pool. The next day we visited the Botanical Gardens outside Boothbay so the children could see the trolls and gardens! We would visit this motel again. It was clean, and maintained wonderfully!

We could have used more towels in our room for two adults and two children, but we had brought our own towels for the pool which worked for us.

We stayed at the Cod Cove Inn with family at a visit to the Gardens Aglow. The Inn is conveniently located to the gardens. They permitted dogs in rooms specifically planned and designed to accommodate them which worked perfectly. The rooms were so comfortable and clean, Nick at the front desk was so welcoming and did everything to make our stay so nice. I definitely recommend the Inn and hope to plan another summertime visit!

There was nothing at all wrong.

Clean spacious room with comfortable beds, a lovely balcony , and a pool and gardens out back.

Breakfast. It was the same low quality fare provided at most moderate hotel/motels. I'm happy that food is available as most everyone was eating it, but my son and I wanted something a bit more nutritious, so we went to a local breakfast place for a healthier meal. The coffee and tea were great.

Everything was fantastic. Amanda and Nick could not have been nicer and accommodating. The rooms were wonderful -size, cleanliness and comfort. The grounds were beautiful and my only regret was we did not have enough time to enjoy them - especially the pool. I have already recommended these accommodations to several friends and would most definitely stay there again when in the area.

The Inn is cute and conveniently located. The manager of the Inn seemed to be running the whole place by himself, but was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was pretty good, coffee was hot and they had a waffle maker, fresh muffins, and some healthy options as well. We stayed on NYE and everything was clean & quiet.

The only con I experienced was the check in / check out process being a little awkward. The manager left a cellphone number at the desk you had to call to try and get him to come to the office. I also never received a summarized bill with the room charges on it, however he was very friendly and helpful once we got ahold of him.

Clean and nice. Staff was helpful and friendly. View was pretty. Good value.

No elevator. Didn’t like carrying our luggage up the stairs. Balcony wasn’t covered, so couldn’t take advantage because it was wet the whole stay. Only complaint on location is that the traffic was very noisy when balcony door was open for circulation.
