Location. It is very quaint . Large room and bathroom.

It is a bit old but still quaint. Steep stairs. Large luggage would be hard to manage.

I enjoyed the electronic communications and seamless check in process.

The internet service was abysmal, continual buffering, made wifi unusable.

This could just be me but I booked an Inn and not a Hotel to have the personal touch and the uniqueness that they bring to the place . I did not know there would be no one on site till I received an email with codes on how to get in our room. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, that was a plus. But there was no place to sit outside on the property. I was able to call the # given to get help with our TV but on our last morning there the smoke detector went off 3 separate times between 5:30-6:00am. We needed to get up, go outside, check all around and make sure there’s nothing going on. Then I called an only got answering machine so there was no answer for what happened. So we just got up at that time, packed up and took off. We did eat at the restaurant on the property and it was excellent. If you enjoy your privacy this is the place for you as long as you don’t mine the outdoor seating for the restaurant at night to be right outside your room.

It was a short walk the the water front.

Proximity to the town, restaurants and activities.

It was clean but needs to be updated. There was no one on-site to speak with or ask questions. There was no communication regarding what room name/ floor we were staying in/on. Nor was anything communicated regarding the parking.

Rooms were clean and relatively comfortable. Quick responses from property manager, very quick. Texting him worked best. The location is good.

Instructions for check-in were woefully insufficient, it took us 30 minutes before we were able to finally get into our rooms. . Parking information was also insufficient. You must share parking with the restaurant. If you leave the diners quickly take the parking spaces. Only find out later that there is additional parking in a field across the street. ALL instructions, and lack thereof, were provided by booking.com Inn security was lacking, in my opinion. Access doors to the hallway (rooms) were open to the public. Doors to rooms on the 3rd level appeared to be interior grade doors. There were no deadbolts on doors - other than the 1st floor room. The 1st floor room did not have wifi - had to pirate it from the restaurant. The noise level in the 1st room floor was unacceptable. Very loud from restaurant diners. The noise did end at 1000 p.m. which was nice. So, yeah there are some considerations that may bother some folks.

The room was large and spacious.

There was no staff to greet us. I was not given any indication when I booked the room that there would not be any staff or that there would be an e-mail containing direction for checking ourselves in. There was no security by which I mean the restaurant (that is NOT affiliated with the inn) was allowed to prop open the only secure door to allow restaurant visitors to use the front entryway. It was a warm night when we stayed, and we did not expect the diners to be right below our window. There were limited amenities, not even an ice machine.
