This hotel brought back memories from my childhood when my family would stay in motor inns in Tennessee and North Carolina. The room was clean and spacious.(The bathroom not so much) We stayed during off season, so we did not have anyone in the next room so it was very quiet. My husband enjoyed the coffee and little snacks in the office, which was kept open for our convenience. There was also a nice fridge and microwave in the office if we needed access to one.
The two downsides. Being a 1950's motel, the bathroom was a little on the small side. My husband is on the tall, so the toilet was not very comfortable for him. Also the toilet paper is located right next to the sink so it would sometimes get wet (we ended up moving it to keep that from happening) The other thing was our door had to be slammed to lock properly. Since we didn't know the area well (I am sure the crime level is very low) we had to triple check just to see if it was locked.

This motel is very close to the harbor with an easy walk to stores and restaurants. Also, parking available, which during a busy season, is a plus. Most parking spots were 2 hour parking, and the few lots filled up fast.
The room had a slight smoke odor, although there were no smoking signs, and being an older motel, the walls were thin, and you could hear your neighbors. Our stay was ine night, so it was doable.

This was our third annual stay. It’s close to downtown and to the boatyard where we have activities. It’s a simple place that is spotless!
The shower stalls are tight for a chubby person such as I.

I loved the location of the property! Super close to the shops and restaurants that we walked everywhere and didn’t have to worry about parking
The shower was fairly small and the bottom lining was coming undone

We liked the proximity to the downtown area. Air conditioning was fine. Cleaniliness was great.
The shower is too small and outdated. Not enough water pressure.

The motel was warm and inviting. They are very caring for your needs and comfort. A truly retro feeling of the 50's experience and a nice variety of accommodations on our trip to the East Coast. It was so nice to park the car and walk through the village, shops and wharf. They were so sweet. Thanking them for a great memory....❣️😎❣️

A classic 1950s ‘Route 66’ kind of motel. Easy check-in, good location very accommodating host. Trusting
Bathroom small with no counter space but expected in this type of motel

It’s a charming retro motel located a short walk from the piers. The staff was delightful to interact with. The linens were new and comfortable and the place itself was spotless.
The mattresses were only okay. I’m used to a firmer one. On the other hand, I slept very well, so it wasn’t uncomfortable.

Super cute motel, very clean and in a great location in town. The staff was super friendly and very very helpful, we had a package that we had sent to the motel before we arrived and they had put it in the room upon arrival.

The coffee was awesome. What impressed us most was the staff at the hotel. One lady especially made us feel welcome. Very friendly.
The shower could use some updating, but it was serviceable and met our needs.
