We booked the same room area for the second time. Located on an upper level, it overlooked the harbor within an easy walking distance to the footbridge, waterfront amenities and town. The room was very clean, not fancy, but perfect for our needs. We thoroughly enjoyed the covered outside seating area, watching the harbor sights, and having a wonderful dinner in the original "Tugboat".

This may sound a bit silly. Everything was great except the bottled toiletries. Fragrance free, but in such a thick consistency, nearly impossible to get the contents out of the bottles. Where we stayed for two nights, we purchased our own.

I really enjoyed the staff at the restaurant. Service, food, and their knowledge of the area was top notch. The set up of the harbor rooms made a great experience for a weekend couples retreat. We were in rm 106 and woke to a sunrise on the harbor. My girlfriend and I flew from Texas to eat lobster. That we did and enjoyed how fresh it was. We even watched a fisherman come into dock from a long day on the water. The shops that were open were all close enough to walk to, from anywhere in the harbor area. I would love to return during peak season. My fault for not researching this to know it wasn't. Public parking around "ocean point" is a great treat. We caught a sunset and watched a seal come up to the rocks. Spotted a fox trotting through the neighborhood on the point. Deb was right this is a must do!

I didn't go during peak season or atleast know most places were closed in the off season. I've learned this is common in the less populated new England areas. The only complaint in the room was the tile at the vanity was so cold on the feet. A towel fixed that. "Self correcting problem."

Everything. This was our first trip to Maine. We really did not know what to expect. Location was excellent and having the end room with picture windows of the harbor made it exceptional. The property has an excellent restaurant open for lunch and dinner. We used it for dinner four nights in a row due to the interesting menu. Definitely the best lobster bisque that I have ever had anywhere in the world.

The room was clean and comfortable There was no breakfast served there.

We had to climb stairs to get to the room and it was hard to do that and bring suitcases up. My partner is 86.5 years old. We had no good direct view of the ocean. There were lots of things like buildings in the way. There was no breakfast or lobby coffee provided there. We were supposed to check in at a different hotel down the street. When we tried to get to our room the first day, the street was blocked off for a parade and we had to go way around the block and back up another street. Our refrigerator was not plugged in when we got there, and I had to tell the office and she came and checked on our second day and plugged the right plug in.

Lovely motel on the waterfront. Beautiful view out of the room window and a deck to sit on. Comfortable bed with food linens and lots of soft towels and good soap in the bathroom! Checking was easy and very friendly. Barman at the Tugboat Inn upstairs bar really knew his job and we had a lovely evening sat up there watching the sunset. No breakfast served but as recommended the blueberry pancakes at the Blue Moon were superb!

Nothing worth complaining about!

Charming and characterful building. Room on a pier over water with great view of the harbour. Clean and cozy. Lovely rustic bar with live music and good restaurant with wide range of home cooked meals. Staff friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Breakfast venues within easy walk.

Only issue for us was that the WiFi signal didn’t extend to our room, so spent more time in bar/ restaurant where signal was strong. Not a significant hardship in reality.

Location for what we planned to do in the area was great. Being right across from the restaurant was helpful. I loved the addition of the outlet block on top of the nightstand. No more dragging the night stand away from the wall in hopes of getting to the power outlet or worse, finding there isn't one there. Having a Keurig in the room is a great touch. The heat in the bathroom was also really nice.

There was no regular coffee in our room upon arrival. Not a big deal and I went and asked for some. But then I noticed the complimentary shampoo was obviously used and it had me wondering about the quality of the room prep and how someone changes over a room. Did the sheets not get done either? Was there anything else I should be concerned about that was a much greater concern than just coffee and shampoo?

Great location! Right on the waterfront.

The room had a barely noticeable faint lingering smell of cigarette smoke. It's not the staff or the property's fault though! They can't control whether a guest smokes or not, and they make it very clear there is no smoking allowed in the rooms. That said, I have an overly keen sense of smell. My friend didn't notice anything, so most people probably wouldn't either.

The location can't be beat! Looking out the window at the bay from my bed was amazing! The area is beautiful! I love that you can walk everywhere. The staff was very nice, very helpful. We were in room 102, and it was perfect. We will be back, and I will try to get room 102 again next time. We want to stay a little longer next time! Thank you so much for such a lovely visit!

The only thing was that there is no microwave in the room, but that was definitely NOT a deal-breaker. Hardly a blip on the screen compared to how much we loved the room we were in and the beautiful scenery. *There is a microwave in the Inn lobby that we could use, and the manager on duty said she'd even open the door at 6:30am for us before we got an early start the day we left.

Immediately we loved it, large, spacious bright clean suite. Very comfortable king bed & pillows with very good bed linens. Great bathroom, no "lowboy toilet" and nice granite sink height too. Loved all the lighting, large tv, fridge and keurig too. Ours was a corner suite, 2nd floor with a "covered" balcony with a "full harbor view", (very nice!) Easy access to the room, literally opened the property entrance door and there was our room, (#325) right next to the ice machine. Also, enjoyed our meal at the Tugboat Restaurant.

It would be nice to place 2 bottles of water for morning coffee, next to the keurig, that's the only recommendation.
