This property was so beautiful-right on a peninsula-wish we could have stayed longer! The included breakfast (served in a room that overlooks the water) was amazing, the staff was very friendly and there was so many activities for all ages. The vintage bowling was very cool! A sweet little touch was a cute little bag to take home as a gift from them. Would recommend this property for couple get-a-way or a family vacation. So many memories could be made here!

If I had to say something negative it would be that the a/c in the room didn't keep it very cool but we weren't bothered by it at all. There is also no TV, which in our eyes was not a negative except that the olympics were on ;).

The staff (Abby and others whose names I don’t recall but wish I could acknowledge) were incredibly helpful and welcoming! I loved our room (Fiddleheads) which was cozy, charming, clean and comfortable. It also had an attached patio, where we could enjoy the evening. We were there for the night of the lobster bake, which was excellent! We also loved the s’mores around the fire pit. We will be back.! We didn’t have a chance to partake in many of the facilities because we were only there for one night.

It was really foggy when we were here but we could tell it was a wonderful place to be! They are far out from everything but right on the water. A great restaurant with good food & awesome atmosphere. Breakfast was a full menu of things to choose from...delish! Walking the grounds in the fog was awesome with a fire to sit around once you tired. Lots of stuff for kids, big & small, to do. Big heated pool, little boats off the wharf to go out on, huge game area. Staff was wonderful. Big room, great towels & toiletries & linens. Stay for more than 1 day!

The smell in the room with the heat on was a little funky but it cleared up by the morning. TV needs to be bigger in such a nice size room.

The inn manager, John is indeed exceptional in guest/customer service, we booked one night at the suite, the other night at standard room due to no vacancy for the standard rooms. The inn manager let us stay at the suite for both nights so my family don’t have to move to a different rooms. It was indeed a very kind and wonderful gesture. We really enjoyed the stay, we filled our days with outdoor games, heated swimming pool, row boat, pool table, bowling, sunset path, s’mores and bonfire. The buffet breakfast is very good, and the ground with rugged coastline at Southport is absolutely beautiful.

The main inn stair and hallway carpet received a lot of foot traffic, it does gets dusty, it will be nice to run vacuum over it. Overall, this is indeed a wonderful place. Please continue with the amazing standard you have already established !!!

It was a beautiful setting overlooking the water. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The room could use a little tic with updates in the furniture, i.e., mattress and lampshades. The deck overlooking the grounds was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view. It was a perfect location for driving to the Botanical Gardens which was on our list of things to do.

Delicious breakfast, friendly personnel and cozy rooms that meet your expectations. The hotel manager was so wonderful and friendly to deal with. Loved the experience.

The internet wasn't the best to be honest but it all depends on what is the purpose of your trip. If you have Verizon W then you might not get a good service.

Oh my goodness, what a wonderful place to stay. If we could have stayed a second night, we would have. So beautiful and peaceful. The breakfast was outstanding. Sophia, our waitress, was awesome. So helpful and friendly. And we we're we're pleasantly surprised that they had gluten-free options for breakfast and on the restaurant menu. I highly recommend this place for one night or an extended stay.

There was nothing to dislike. A perfect stay.

The location is a bit of a ride in the woods but is totally worth the experience. The property manager along with the stuff are very friendly and kind. They tried to accommodate all our needs to the best of their abilities and I couldn't ask for more. THANK YOU!

The Newagen Seaside Inn is a very special place, exceptionally friendly and with outstanding staff from all over the world. In the evening we had a superb meal at their very atmospheric pub, chatting with locals, including a lobster fisherman and enjoying live music; it was a fascinating experience. It has an incredible location, a little off the beaten track, in this location you are at one with pure beauty. What a find, our stay was too short and we didn't want to leave. Given the opportunity we would love to return.

My daughter left a brand new sweatshirt, bought in the previous town we visited. I called to say exactly where she had left it, and could we arrange for them to post it to us, I would pay the required amount for its return, however we never heard back.

The inn is beautiful inside and out. So appealing with the natural fireplace and nautical decor in our room. The staff was extremely friendly and so eager to help in any way possible! The breakfast was excellent! Nice choices of entrees, delicious food, with beautiful presentation. Goblets juices and real linen, no paper napkins or paper table clothes. Real silverware instead of plastic. Very sophisticated for an included breakfast.

I thought everything was excellent! If I were to make a suggestion, it would be that breakfast would be served until a somewhat later time so that one could sleep in a little longer since the rooms are so comfy.
