Breakfast and friendly staff and secure parking including electric charging.

No toilets located on the same level as reception / breakfast area. Private parking was an extra charge of €15 per day, ok for 1 or 2 nights but €75 for 5 nights is expensive and needs a discount for longer stays. Room cleaning on request was not mentioned on check-in instead they relied on you reading the posters in the lift. Stayed during Wimbledon so was disappointed English BBC channels didn't work anywhere in the hotel.

The location was excellent right next to the train station and easy walk to the center. very good breakfast with a lot of options which i liked a lot, very helpful and kind stuff, super clean, parking on site in very good price having in mind the options of Leeuwarden. The hotel smelled very very nice.

Very noisy in front of the street as it can be very busy , so seating and relaxing in a quite environment is not really an option. I found the lobby area quite darkish, the lighting and the color of the furniture. I found the room price a bit overpriced since it was just a simple room. I would add maybe some more toiletries for example to make it more cozy.

The first thing I liked was being able to park in the underground garage, and having a lift from there to all floors. Our room was large and comfortable with a balcony, everything worked as it should. Just a short walk in to the town centre and excellent restaurants next door to the hotel.

Very little could have been better, food available in the bar would have been nice. also the hall areas were a little grubby; I think the carpets could use a steam clean ( this did not apply to the room which was very clean )

We had breakfast on day 1 of our stay; overall selection was ok (a bit overpriced) but the warm dishes (scrambled eggs, bacon, etc) were almost cold. Therefore, we decided to have breakfast outside in the other days. Beds had only one large blanket, which is not ideal if couples have different temperature needs.

Breakfast is pretty luxurous. Also a lot to choose from. Location is on the opposite side of the train station. And not far from the centre. Room is pretty much OK. Staff is very helpful, eg supplying stuff to iron clothes.

Parking is limited at the hotel, but for 10 euros/24h you can park close by. May be, during check-in mention to visitors that they have to choose if they want daily cleaning or not.

I was arriving after midnight on my first night but they were there to check in without issue, so helpful. The hotel is directly across from the train station so easy found and easy accessible. The hotel was tastefully decorated, very clean and the staff were so pleasant and keen to help. The room was beautifully decorated and again, extremely clean. Breakfast was excellent and available to 11am which was appreciated. All in all I could not fault this hotel and I’ve booked to stay again already.

Lots of time given for breakfast, lots of selections. Across the street from the train station and bus hub. Lots of good restaurants close by. Great staff - friendly and full of helpful information. Great price!

Everything was perfect! Can't think of anything we don't like or had trouble with.

The hotel is centrally located to everything you need and walking the entire area is super easy to navigate. It took only minutes and I was down at the canals and the shopping/walk ways. My room was quiet, spacious and clean, the bed ultra comfortable (can’t remember when I slept that well in a hotel), had a refrigerator that worked, a coffee maker and a water kettle. I will definitely stay again.

Bathroom had a tub with no mat and a really high wall that made getting in and out of it dangerous.

The staff was super friendly and had no issue at all communicating in english, and the room definitively exceded our expectations with its size and comfort. It is right in front of the train station and close to many good restaurants. We will be trying the breakfast next time.

A great place to stay, across the train station of Leeuwarden, close to the city center, we enjoyed the comfort of the room, the bed was great, the cleanliness exceptional, the breakfast abundant with lots of fruit and vegetables, dairy and non-dairy options, a nice spacious lobby with many quiet corners... Would like to return to the Oranje Hotel again! Thank you!
