This hotel was so beautiful and stunning. I have gone to Salem so many times at this point, but this was the prettiest place I've stayed at. The personal concierge that is offered felt really luxurious and they were so accommodating. The room had a coffee/tea bar, water, and snacks which was a really nice touch. We also were so grateful and appreciate of the Jaho gift card that came with the stay! I've never had a hotel offer something like that before. It wound up being a 2 person trip and we didn't pay for coffee or breakfast! I would absolutely stay here in the future!

There's nothing that was a problem!

Restored building with an “eclectic” flare. Very clean and well-maintained. Generally quiet. Adequate parking.

Expected a breakfast on site (as advertised). Received, instead, an online voucher for a local coffee house that would have covered the cost of 2 coffees. Billed $70 as a cleaning charge which seemed excessive for a single night stay. Many emails received with instructions for signing in which had already been done. These became became annoying and obscured the more important information that was needed. There was an online “concierge” service but no direct interaction with anyone. Not very personal or inviting.

The property is conveniently located to Salem and the surrounding area. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We loved the furniture and the ceiling light! The robes and snacks were a nice touch. Parking was available on premises.

The hotel had switched over to air conditioning and heat was unavailable. We shut off the air, but due to the rain and cold weather, the room’s temperature had slipped to 59* after a day out. There was a small heater available in the closet, but it took close to 3 hours to make the room comfortable. Heat should be available until all threat of cold weather has passed.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Coach House in Salem, and I can honestly say it was an exceptional experience! From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the charming decor that perfectly blends modern comforts with a touch of classic elegance. Every detail in the design is thoughtfully curated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that feels like a home away from home. The bed was simply heavenly—one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in—making it easy to unwind after a day of exploring Salem's rich history. The towels provided were equally luxurious, adding a spa-like touch to my stay. I appreciated the attention to quality and comfort throughout the entire property. Customer Service - Top Notch! Marley is the best!!! Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway or a peaceful retreat, the Coach House is the perfect choice. I can't recommend it highly enough and can't wait to return!

Not a thing!

I was very pleasantly surprised by the experience. It was my first stay at a self check-in hotel, Everything went without a hitch. Marley contacted me before my arrival and sent me all the necessary instructions. The house is located about a 20 minute walk away from downtown. The area was quiet. If the weather was nice, it would be a very pleasant walk. The bedroom was a decent size. The bathroom is small. The place seems to have a black and white theme. There was an umbrella holder at the front entrance with umbrellas for guests to use. I thought that was a very nice touch, since it did rain during the weekend i stayed there. All in all, I really enjoyed the experience.

Incredible room. Really, attention to detail and the customer service was all via text, so contactless check in which was REALLY well communicated and well done. I didn't see a single staff person while I was there, but didn't feel like I was out of options; support was readily available and they over-over communicated everything to make sure I understood how to get in and addressed my issues promptly when I had questions. Plus we opted into a little meal box which was lovely to wake up to, dropped off in front of our door at exactly the time they said it would be in the morning.

There's an explanation about fees if you steal stuff on anything not glued down, and it was really hammered home that they will charge you lots of money if the item is missing or their towels are used; there was even a warning about getting charged if you use makeup on the white linens - kind of makes you feel a little paranoid about not wanting to even touch anything, BUT I understand if this is something theyve had an issue with in the past and this felt like a smaller operation that once we were there, it felt a lot more welcoming (and they even had a dedicated makeup towel so you werent without options!). This is probably why everything was such a nice experience because their messaging around this is so effective lol.

We were given a complimentary cute little breakfast box with fruit and small pastries. There was a heat pump in the room so it was nice and cool inside. The bathroom was clean and had a beautiful shower. The bed was nice and comfortable. Wifi worked well while we were there. We were always lucky to have a parking spot in the back. You could walk to the downtown of Salem, but we still took our car because we were already walking around a lot. It was easy to check in and out with your phone. But you have to remember the code to the doors.

The coffee machine was acting a bit strange. First way too much water came out and the cup overflowed, and the next time I tried, there was too little water coming out even though I had put enough in there.

The Coach House is beautiful. Every single detail is gorgeous. The bed was comfortable, there was even a small fan in the closet and a white noise machine which I loved because I am a light sleeper. There’s a ROKU tv, a small coffee maker, and you can add various amenities. I truly enjoyed our stay.

The shower is beautiful but not very practical, as it is an overhead rain shower head. I just did not feel that I could wash my hair thoroughly. Also the location is a bit far from town. It’s about a 15-20 minute walk. But we enjoyed the walk in the nice fall weather.

The room was absolutely lovely and inviting. Loved the decor and the furnishings. Bed / pillows were super comfortable. The house was extremely well kept and it was quiet inside. Parking was great (though not on Lafayette, so took me a minute to find). So nice to have water and snacks.

It was early January and the bathroom was chilly! No decaf option for coffee or tea in the room. A nature sounds machine was indicated, but could not be found (I was fine with this, but thought the feedback would be appreciated).

Likes: elegant, cozy room, in room coffee. Bathrobes and plenty of hangers all pluses. Great staff, helped with the boarding pass glitches.

The online boarding pass, It was hard to do everything online, especially uploading the needed picture ID. The bathroom was bit too small for 2 people. Limited shelf space in the bathroom and only 2 hooks, That meant if we hung our bathroom bag because of the limited shelf space, we did not have hooks for both towels.
