Great location. Cute, boutique hotel feel. Even though it’s an old building, it’s kept up nicely and is clean and updated. Rooms are kind of small, but still comfortable. Be sure to bring converters and adapters, as their electrical outlets are not suitable for US appliances and phone chargers. Bathroom nice and updated. Comfortable bed. Cute little lobby area with complimentary tarts and coffee. The staff was AMAZING and so accommodating. Allowed us to store our luggage in back room due to our early arrival. Stored our medication in their coolers. Highly recommend!

It was all a very nice experience!

The location was great. Very easy to walk to the river, restaurants and shops. The lobby was beautiful and welcoming. We enjoyed sitting there to relax, have a snack and read. There were even games our family enjoyed there. Eric at the front desk was amazing. He was friendly, informative, and we all looked forward to seeing him each day. He was so kind to our kids and had a wonderful sense of humor. The hotel cleaning staff were wonderful as was the woman serving breakfast. The rooms were quiet and had lovely natural light.

Chose the proper because of previous great reviews and because of location. Was not disappointed! Grat small boutique hotel with friendly staff. Location was excellent…next to the Luxembourg gardens, plenty of great restaurants within a short walk, the atmosphere of Saint Germain neighborhood can be beaten and also many of the sites are within an easy walk. Would definitely stay again at Fontaines du Luxemburg!

Our initial room had a very small bathroom and a shower without a door or shower curtain. It was impossible to shower without getting the entire bathroom completely wet. As our stay was for six nights we asked for a different room. This was swiftly resolved by the staff and for the rest of our stay we had a lovely room!

Lovely hotel on a quiet street close to the Luxembourg garden with easy access via bus/metro to all the sights of Paris. The staff was exceptional and made our stay a memorable one. Breakfast on-site made for a delicious easy start to our day. We looked forward to returning to the peaceful calm for an afternoon nap and a good night sleep after our daily adventures. Can’t say enough good things about this wonderful hotel and its staff.

The lobby was very inviting. Rooms were decent size.

We were disappointed with the advice to order the transportation to the airport. We were strongly advised to order the transportation through the hotel instead of Uber with the assurance of a fixed price of 70€. When we were moving in the van, the driver told us the price was 90.

This was one of our best hotel stays ever! It's only a short walk from the Luxembourg Gardens, Pantheon, and the Odeon metro stop, so it was easy to get around all of Paris. The room was perfect, the bed was very comfortable, and the staff was beyond excellent. Particularly Eric at the front desk. He went far beyond expectations to make sure we were comfortable, offering restaurant recommendations and helping us. If/when we return to Paris, this will be our hotel, no question.

There were hangers in the room but there isn't a chest of drawers for socks, underwear, etc.

The welcoming attitude and care by Mr Mourad and his staff added much to our very enjoyable stay in Paris. Mr M was very helpful with recommendations for cuisine as well as verbal assistance as well as "call" for a taxi for us as well as to how we can best "get around" Paris and the various sites we wanted to visit. The hotel met our needs as far as location as well as the comfort of the room. Very comfortable. The breakfast offered not only provided us with a good start to touring the various sites of Paris, but also the staff made sure that I, and my 14 year old grandson, breakfast's requests were met with positive and gracious service. The head cook seem to "adopt" my grandson and made sure he had enough to eat.

This was our first time staying at this hotel because our usual one is being renovated. We were so pleasantly surprised that it may become our new regular hotel! The location was fantastic, just a stone's throw from the Luxembourg gardens, with plenty of shops, restaurants, and cafes nearby, but the street was quiet. Our room was huge by Parisian standards! The AC was also fantastic, which we appreciated as we were there during a heat wave. The bathroom was great, with a good shower and a nice bathtub. The building is lovely, and the staff were very friendly, even supplying me with ice when I injured my hand. We will definitely be back to this hotel!

Two tiny little things that could be improved. First, we missed having a small refrigerator in the room, but this wasn't a big deal. Also, the room didn't get too dark even with blackout shades because of a gap between the curtain and the wall. However, this only bothered me, as I'm sensitive to light. My daughter thought it was perfectly fine.

We absolutely loved staying at Hotel du Luxembourg. Our room was very quiet, clean and roomy for our 12 night stay. All the staff go over and above to help with whatever needs you may have, Eric comes to mind as being super helpful and friendly! Everyone we encountered at the reception desk were brilliant. The staff from house keeping are also very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend staying at the Hotel Fontaines du Luxembourg. Thank you for making our stay a fantastic one.

Nothing everyone and everything were fabulous.

Met Eric on arrival and spoke English very well . The hotel is in a good place to walk to a few landmarks , eating places and souvenir shops . We chose this hotel to get more of an old feel for Paris . The staff were very accommodating and really helpful Breakfast was ok and filled us up for the rest of the day . We had a king-size bed which was perfect. Room had heating also and tea / making facilities. And if I want more u just go and ask at reception and they were more than helpful to give us supplies. Would definitely stay again.

For the women having a mirror at the table in the room would be useful to do themselves up as it all in the bathroom and the mirror is streamed up after a shower .
