Our hostess Yolande was so efficient, friendly, helpful, able and capable. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Everything from the the location of the B&B, the cleanliness of the room, facilities available, help with restaurants bookings and public transport information were honestly exceptional. The breakfasts Yolande prepared were outstanding - delicious and very, very well presented. Home made sweet treats, yoghurt and brioche all scrumptious. All in all a super, super place to stay. Thank you Yolande.

The hosts at this B&B are excellent. They assisted us with recommendations for dinner and how to use public transportation to travel to Bordeaux center. Our accommodations were quiet, easy to find, well-sized, and with parking available on the street. There is a pool to enjoy. Breakfast, poolside, was lovely. This property is located about 30 minutes by public bus trip into Bordeaux so it was a little further than I would have liked, for activities in the city. The B&B is about a 5-10-minute walk to the bus stop. It’s very convenient once you know what to do.

We absolutely loved our stay at La Ferrade. The hosts were fabulous, very friendly and hospitable. The place is beautiful, especially the outdoor area where Yolande serves breakfast. The breakfast is also delicious. We found it the perfect hub to travel into Bordeaux centre or drive out to the wine regions.

The hosts were amazing they went above and beyond. I had a fall and they just couldn’t do enough to help. Wonderful breakfast and the property and pool were awesome. I will definitely be back if in the area. Keep up the good work!! Love from Scotland Brian & Linda

The hosts (husband and wife) were absolutely wonderful! From the first moment we met, they made us feel at home, taken care of, and went above and beyond to provide delicious food, great recommendations in Bordeaux, and an incredible stay at their home.

The location is a bit of a walk or bus into town, but not incredibly far.

Breakfast was excellent with a broad range of delicious food and personal attention. We enjoyed the opportunity to dine outside when the weather permitted.

The location was a little further from the centre than we thought but the bus services and trams were very efficient it just took a bit more of our limited time to access siteseeing.

Yolande provided a superb breakfast every day and was extremely helpful with information/location maps etc. Very well appointed accommodation and super comfy bed. A touch of class !

Everything, an absolute find. ..

The hosts were just absolutely awesome. We are cycling through Europe and to open the doors and find the swimming pool was absolute bliss…

We absolutely loved the property and the wonderful owners/hosts! So lovely, so kind…it was hard to leave ❤️

The owner was very nice, helpful and service minded. Gave us a lot of tips about what to do in bordeux. Very happy with the stay here :)
