The location is conveniently accessible, and I would like to commend the hotel staff for their professionalism and warmth, particularly the retired soldier, who made my stay more enjoyable. When comparing this hotel to others in the US, it stands out with its European-inspired design. It features modern characteristics, a high level of cleanliness, inviting fragrances, and well-appointed bathrooms.

As a European native, I long for certain familiar vegetables, such as tomatoes and cucumbers, as well as sliced cheese. These items have a special significance for me and contribute to my culinary preferences. The hotel entrance could be better marked for improved clarity. First-time visitors may find it somewhat challenging to locate the correct entrance, as it requires using the lift to reach the reception area. Clearer signage could enhance the overall experience.

The hotel looks modern - pictures as per listing, it was a perfect overnight stay. We appreciated the breakfast that was included with the room. The drive from Manhattan to upstate New York was amazing; if you ever have a couple of days in NYC, please check out upstate. We stopped in Wethersfield and had a scrumptious lunch at The Charles - 10/10 restaurant!

We were ill-advised on where to park and ended up paying a US$ 50 parking fine. Anyone staying at this hotel, proceed to the undercover parking at the shopping centre next to the hotel.

99% of the employees we dealt with were extremely friendly and courteous. The hotel was very clean. Our room was spacious. When we asked for something we needed, the staff was able to respond to our request right away. The selection of foods for breakfast was very nice.

The other guests in the hotel during the weekend were very noisy, but that's not the fault of the hotel. The people above us were walking back and forth across the floor with shoes on (like they were pacing) for hours at a time. There was a sports team staying there, possibly from a college, and I imagine they were the ones making all the noise. They were screaming, yelling, running around, slamming doors, and basically being very disrespectful of other guests. One staff member at the registration desk ignored me for about 10 minutes while I was trying to purchase a couple of drinks. She was busy on her cell phone. Not having a designated parking lot for the hotel is really undesirable.

The property was really nice and clean, but it’s in a part of downtown that is a little desolate. Everything closes early. Our only saving grace was the hotel is right next to this great brewery call Common Roots. The food was great and some really good beers and not expensive. The layout of the room was nice. Room 621 we saw the most beautiful sunrise. Breakfast was good.

The room was great, but if your room is facing the back part of the hotel and on the 6th floor the windows only have a thin shade that lets in the light from the Skywalk. This light was quite annoying for someone who’s use to sleeping in darkness.

Brand new hotel. Hotel was good for us as we were travelling by train and this hotel is not far from the Amtrak station and downtown Albany. Loved being next to the brewery.

On day two of our stay our room was not refreshed. Apparently this was company policy. I have stayed in hotels all over the world and all around America and never had this experience. If I had been made aware I wouldn’t have minded, but to come back from a busy day out and about and find the bed unmade. Coffee cups unwashed, no fresh coffee pods, etc did not put me in the best frame of mind. Additionally I wasn’t advised on arrival that breakfast finished at 0900. We and a number of other guest ended up with cold leftovers for breakfast.

Hotel is located near the highway which made it convenient to get to. Another plus is its proximity to a brewery. Appreciated that the property was brand new and they honored our request for a room on a higher floor. Room was very clean, since the property was new.

Breakfast buffet was included, pretty basic in terms of offerings (scrambled eggs, pre-made pancakes). Some finishing touches in the room were a little off - shower door and bathroom door wouldn't stay closed without some jerryrigging, but otherwise stay was clean and pleasant.

Breakfast was wonderful. The hotel was extremely clean and new. Our room was very comfortable and large. We enjoyed walking around quackenbush square and the new walk over to the riverfront park. Pet friendly also a plus!

The parking situation was a little unexpected in such a small city. Paid parking was confusing for us, staff wasn't too helpful and had to go out to feed the meter late at night or park in the parking ramp, which was all just a short walk, but inconvenient and unexpected expense. We would expect this in NYC but not Albany.

The hotel is in a great location relative to everything in the Albany area. It was clean and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was laid out well with a good variety of hot and cold food choices. There is also an on-site fitness center and an outdoor area with tables and lounge seating available.

There is no on-site parking available. There is a parking lot about a 4-minute walk from the hotel, but you have to pay $8 a night to use it. There is in and out parking available there.

great breakfast, nice setting very comfortable place. centrally located with many options within walking distance. room is nice and spacious

having to pay to park car was brought up by others. for us it wasn't that bad as its understandable given it is downtown. 8$ a day is not that bad given the central location. Only thing that could be good is if the hotel could coordinate your parking registration and payment to facilitate the whole process. The 8$ lot is right next to the front door drop off area.

Nice location near restaurants and pubs. Clean, spacious room. Comfortable bed.

Paid parking in public lot ($8 max.). Lot in front of hotel is a construction site (part of the big renewal project), so access to the hotel is from the rear with an elevator ride to the lobby. I expect once the renewal project is completed, this will resolve.
