Breakfast was perfectly adequate, Continental as advertised. Our room was cozy, bed was very comfortable, bathroom nice & shiny clean. Carpet Could have used a vacuum but it was not dirty. Loved the character of the Inn and views of the Harbor. Walked onto Sunday am ferry so it was Very convenient. Would definitely recommend.

TV didn’t work but we learned in the morning It was a ‘local’ problem not a hotel problem. Apparently evening clerk didn’t know that. Would be nice if Lobby had a few beer selections As well as wine, ended up walking down to ferry Terminal to get a beer 🙄

Loved the view, we had a patio view facing the water, enjoyed our walk down to the ferry area. The taxis into town was not super expensive….. enjoyed the coffee in our room. I am not a big wine drinker, but I thought the wine offerings in the lobby was a nice touch…

We had the worst shower ever. Spent more time out of shower than in. Could not adjust the temperature, the squeeze handle does not work for older people…. There was a bulb in the bathroom that flickered, Breakfast was OK, not real diabetic friendly, waffle maker took two times to cook waffle, the day of check out was rough as they were resealing the drive, so we never got to check out. The smell was horrible…

This is a cozy and beautiful property in general. Nice grounds and views of the water (and ferry terminal). Bonus: the deer on the property are comfortable enough with humans that they don't scatter when you walk by on your way to breakfast. Breakfast was simple but just what I needed to get me through a morning of meetings.

Wifi cut out briefly now and then but when it reconnected it was a strong signal.

We always stay at this location the night before taking the ferry to the San Juans. It is a lovely, quiet location. You will probably see deer or an owl on the motel grounds. Our rooms have always been clean and comfortable. The breakfast room is very pleasant though we always take our breakfast to our room where there is a little table with chairs and a microwave to reheat coffee. We consider our stay here and our dinner in Anacortes to be a part of our trip to the San Juans.

The downstairs rooms have patios opening to the back grounds and a view of the ferries; however, we have at times (like this latest visit) been annoyed by people upstairs walking back and forth forever. This can happen in any motel. It's a personal choice to be upstairs or downstairs.

We changed rooms at the last minute because our daughter joined us, to a 2-bedroom suite with living/dining/kitchen and two full baths. The unit was clean and spacious. The staff person was helpful in making this change. The view from the unit was quite special! Although the unit was in between the breakfast room and gym for the inn, it felt private and quiet. The unit was well below the main road so there was no road noise.

The A/C for the unit took a long time to be effective, so it was a bit warm for a few hours at night. The unit did not have a 'private' balcony or porch due to where it was situated in the middle of a large building of the complex. Although still in fairly good condition, the furnishings and decor of the unit were a little dated. No paper towels or hand towel were provided in the kitchen.

Your location to the ferry was great. The bed and hot tub were great, really enjoyed those. The breakfast area was clean and bright, we enjoyed the waffles.

The chairs to sit in were uncomfortable, the setup with the little table was nice. Overall we didn’t really have a comfortable way to sit and enjoy the view. We also heard everything that was going on in the room above us. The bed area was always dark, had to keep the curtains closed for privacy, would be nice to have a second sheer curtain to use during the day.

Nice simple clean room and bathroom, plenty if towels and extra blankets, nice property and view.

1) on Saturday, breakfast was served until 10am. On Sunday, breakfast was already packed up by 9:15. The breakfast was simple: toast, jam, yoghurt, bananas and apples, hard-boiled eggs…no reason to not leave it out till 10. At minimum, the front desk should have communicated different breakfast end times. 2) pictures show really nice bathrooms, it’d be good to know based in room description if the bathroom you get is basic or the upgraded one.

we were thrilled with the view as well as the great location to the ferry. grounds were beautiful, manicured, very homey and quaint vibe, breakfast building as well as selection was perfect. we could not have been more pleased. very clean and comfortable, definitely not 'fancy or luxurious" but that is not what we were expecting as we only slept there and rested.

bathroom heater did not work. but we did not even report it.

The rooms are wonderful for the price. We had a reservation to stay in Orcas Island for 2 nights. Because of ferry schedules we decided it would be nice to stay night before at Anacortes Ship Harbor Inn. We stayed in one of their cabins...very nice. On the way back home due to ferry schedules we stopped again to spend a night...this time we were in Rm. 38 with King size bed + electric fireplace...very nice again...plan to ask for this room in future.

Maybe a little more selection for breakfast...like scrambled eggs/sausage

The location with accessibility to the town of Anacortes, along with a beautiful view made this a pleasant place to stay for a couple of nights.

The buildings are older and this is reflected in the plumbing, especially the shower. The water pressure was low and ran hot and cold. The breakfast that was offered was quite minimal and didn't really match our expectations.
