Everything! The grounds are beautiful and feel very calm. The pool area was comfortable and spacious. Our room was great! Lots of space, a great kitchenette, really nice sitting area, beautiful patio with a hot tub, table and chairs and lounge chairs, great bathroom area that is very spacious and a really good size closet with plenty of hangers and drawers. As soon as we arrived the food and beverage manager, Dimitris, sat with us to review our dietary restrictions and the staff was aware of them and extremely accommodating throughout our visit. Waiters were all helpful and friendly. Concierge staff was also very helpful. The hotel is also located very close to the center of Oia.

View from honeymoon suite had sunset but in between telephone wire poles. It’s not the caldera view it around the corner but still only 5/8 mins walk. Flat shoes for the walk. Outside the gates of hotel lots of rubbish around.

Everything about this resort was amazing. The staff went out of their way to accommodate our every request. My mother has some mobility issues and they placed her conveniently next to the pool and restaurant and also provided her transportation with a golf cart whenever she needed it. They were the most pleasant and welcoming staff I have ever seen. The rooms were gorgeous and extremely comfortable and the views were stunning.

The transfer from the airport did not go smoothly but the resort fixed the issue as quickly as possible and upgraded our room to what felt like the best villa in the resort.

This is a dream come true place. The staff was so attentive from the start and room service was the best. The room always smelled so nice and fresh. The amenities in the room were amazing: from the bathrobe, iron and iron board, nespresso machine...welcome gift, water provided every day...and the bed was super comfortable and large. The breakfast was exceptional as well as the view from the terrace. My Suite had a small private jacuzzi and it was great to lay down next to it and enjoy some sun if the weather was windy (which was a bit in late October) but from the room's terrace you do not feel that at all. I ate almost every night in the hotel (room service) and the food was very good! I used Spa amenities...it was super relaxing. The walk to Oia is upon hill so you need some 10 min to get to Oia but thanks God the place was away from the town since town is busy all the time. All in all...one of the best experiences i ever had and will be back again for sure.

The hotel was really incredible. Even having a lot of apartments, you can keep your privacy and the area was very calm and quiet. The apartment itself was huge with a lot of amenities and facilities to enjoy. The breakfast was amazing with a lot of variety of dishes. I also could enjoy the gym, which was nice and the SPA was very good too.

I expected for more flavor in the dishes at the restaurant. It does not represent the price that you pay for it. And I could say that the prices about the SPA were very expensive even being relaxing. And last but not least, I did not like the concierge who attended me. She was very impatient about my questions during my stay.

Everything! From the moment we arrived to the moment we sadly had to leave.... We where treated like royalty. The breakfast was amazing, the sunset, the bar, the staff, the room, the pools, the location, the privacy, all the help from the concierges before arriving and during our stay. They helped me make my husbands birthday amazing. Honestly, the staff and the experience in this hotel was top!!!!! What a pleasure it was to stay here and i would definitly come back!!! thank you!

Great location beautiful views. Close to everything.

It wants to be a high end property but most walls and marbles are made of plaster and not stone. Feels a bit as if they cutting corners and saving money where they can. The food in the Bistro is mediocre with very little taste and expensive . We didn’t dine in. The cleaning in general at the room was not very thorough.

The view of the sunset from the terrace was stunning and we loved having our own hot tub. Because no other visitors near us were using the shared pool (between about 6 other rooms) we pretty much had a private pool as well. The room was a generous size with an extra small room with tea and coffee making faciltiies and a table, but a little unecessary because there were no self catering facilities to cook. The bathroom was also lovely with a great shower and lots of little extras like a dental kit, shaving kit and sewing kit - not that we needed them but if you had forgotten anything you would be covered!The breakfast was amazing with so much choice and all freshly prepared and beautifully presented. I am plant based and there was plenty for me to eat with lots of fresh fruits, nuts and seeds. They even provided overnight oats and chia pudding on various days. The restaurant food was truly stunning - one of the best meals we have ever had, but with a really expensive wine list! The staff were all lovely and couldn't do enough for you. We felt very well looked after and pampered.

The spa pricing was very opaque and they wouldn't give a straight answer to the question: what is the cost of 1 hour massage?! Kept trying to offer us 'limited time' packages which were stupidly expensive - way more than London prices or any other resort we have stayed. Eventually, after we had been approached with yet another offer we said - literally that's too much and got a 1 hour massage for a more reasonable price. But we felt we shouldn't have had to have that conversation and feel uncomfortable about it, when they were obviously just trying to upsell. Its an expensive place on a pricey island but it is lovely.

Pros: Location location location. 5 minute walk to the world famous sunset. We loved that we were close to Oia but not right in the hustle and bustle. The sunset view from our suite was amazing. The room itself was very spacious with a bedroom, living area, tiny kitchen, and large patio with hottub. The hottub was our favourite part. The free breakfast buffet was delicious, there was a ton of selection. We shared that we were there to celebrate our honeymoon and the personalized touches including champagne on arrival, a personalized welcome notem, and door hang tag that read "happily ever after" were amazing added touches.

Cons: We can't think of a single one.

Santo Maris is confortable, spacious, ideal to relax and enjoy the finest service in Santorini. it has multiple swimming pools, and suites with direct view to the amazing sunsets.
