The staff were excellent!! The evening manager, young gentleman, wearing glasses, was absolutely excellent, very welcoming and professional. The hotel is very old, it definitively needs a major upgrade, the room conditions are not good, more like a two stars hotel, the location is excellent. Again hands down to all the staff at Hyatt in Buffalo. The room despite being very old; it was very cleaned.

The walking distance to attractions and food. Loved how there was a Starbucks on site and restaurants. Loved the gym.

The air condition not turned on at night room was 72 degrees. Told front desk opened our window then that lead to mosquito’s in our room. They were nice to send up wine cheese and cracker platter. The toilet had water on the seat and was like it was heated had to wipe it every time you used it. Maintenance said they had a problem with the hot water nothing they could do. Overall great stay.

We came here for one night to watch a hockey game. I think it's a good room for the price you pay. Nice hotel on the track line. Easy friendly check in. Valet service is 29 dollars and simple. Parking across the road is around 21 dollars so we opted for valet. You can also text valet before you come down so that your vehicle is ready so that's a plus. Elevators were quick. The hotel room was clean and the beds were comfortable.

The double beds are a bit small for us so we will need to get queens next time.

The staff were very professional (don’t see that often anymore) The hotel was very well taken care of and clean . Even the entrance was very nice and well kept , valet service was very friendly and helpful . They had carts available for you to take your stuff ..right at the door. A very nice bar/restaraunt for dining with wonderful friendly staff. The room was nice ..needs a lil update nothing serious but comfortable, clean and shower was amazing!!!! They were pet friendly which made our trip easy , just wish they had a lil dog park near by but still nice.

Our bathroom sink plugged up and one side didn’t work but no big deal . The parking fees were a bit much and should have been either free or a lot less because they charge for every night and you don’t really have a choice … $10 would have been enough !!!

The staff were incredibly friendly (valet, front desk, maids and restaurant staff), the hotel was clean and very centrally located.

The temperature of the room and hallway was warm because we stayed during "heat season", and the daytime temps were 60-72 degrees. The hotel has a "heat season" (where air conditioning is not available) and an "air conditioning season" (where heat is not available). The only way to "cool" the room was to shut off the heat. This didn't cool the room enough and created slightly uncomfortable room temperatures, especially while sleeping. The Double Size beds are a strange option, as most hotels of this caliber would offer Queen Size beds.

Good location for what we needed and clean

Starting to look it’s age. Wall paper was peeling in our room and the bathroom was looking rough. Not much has changed since my husband and I stayed there 15 years ago. Also they had a convention at the hotel and when we came to check in the line up was wrapped around the elevators. The two men doing check in did a marvellous job but they could only go so fast. Knowing the hotel was going to be that busy they needed at least one extra staff.

Staff are extremely friendly. Very close to Keybank centre. Love the renovations. Very good food and excellent prices in bar, breakfast and at restaurant.

Had to change room as there was No hot water in our room. Couldn’t adjust temperature in new room. Brought our glasses to be exchanged for new ones. Cleaner washed them in bathroom sink with no soap and then returned them to us to use. Needless to say. Didn’t use them after that. We used the ones that were in sealed plastic.

We had the unfortunate experience of being caught in the US when all the borders were closed. Luckily we got a room here to wait it out. In the early morning someone thought it would be funny to call in a mass shooting report and they sent a swat team. Thankfully we did get to go home that day. The hotel staff were very compassionate and understanding. Very helpful in an unpleasant situation

The only thing was the hot water was in the cold water tap as well as the hot and in the toilet tank. It was a very warm shower lol.

Room was great. Great friendly staff

As a swimmer, I was annoyed that the pool was closed. Brought popcorn to use in the microwave that is mentioned on the website. Couldn't find one? I saw an ala carte item on the breakfast menu. Poached egg in a Hollandaise sauce on a bun. I was looking forward to having one professionally cooked for me. I spoke to my wife about this before we began our trip. A team member informed me that they were no longer on the menu and that the website needed to be updated? Did not offer to have one prepared? Always a line up for the elevators. We were informed that one of them was not working? Why not?

Large rooms, especially the suites, was lucky to get both joining rooms. Starbucks in the lobby. Lovely bar. Friendly and helpful staff. Comfy, huge beds. Good air-con. Stayed at part of our national hockey team they weee so accommodating.

.the book I g said breakfast included however no one seemed to know about it. There’s a breakfast menu but couldn’t get an answer if I could chose an item and it was free so ended up going to a few local places instead with more options.
