I stayed in a solo room at hotel Campo Marzio & I'm very happy with the service and the price. It's a traditional hotel & is the nearest to Vicenza train station which suited me as I took trains most days. The city centre is just behind. The condition of the hotel, the dining room & my room is good. Furniture is wooden & only the worktop is a bit worn which is normal. The bathroom equipment seems new & is of solid quality. The shower has horizontal jets which cannot be shut as its control tap seems broken. A large window looking on residences prevents the room feeling small. The housekeeping team keep the room & bathroom very clean. Breakfast buffet at 7am is very good in variety & quality, you just request the hot drink you wish. Around 15 paid parking spaces for guest cars are at the front. What made my stay enjoyable was the staff, they are all professional, friendly & know enough English. I would stay here again for the right price. At departure, a €2 daily city tax is charged.
I was happy with the price I paid, if the price had been much higher then I would've reconsidered. The only negative is that some persons, possibly drunk, gather in the area behind the hotel, but this is not the fault of the hotel.

The hotel is nice and close to the station and is comfortable and tastefully furnished. It only takes a few minutes to walk to the Corso Palladio and be right in the historic area and around many restaurants and bars etc.The young woman at reception was friendly and helpful and everything in my room (a/c, shower, towels, comfort of the bed) was great. They also serve an excellent breakfast from 7-10.
My only gripe was that there was no bottled water in the room and no drinks machine. I went and got a bottle from reception but they charged me maximum retail price for it.

2 weeks in Vicenza, 2 weeks with no train working in Vincenza, 2 weeks of the best, amazing people that we found in Italy 🇮🇹, each and every person from the amazing front desk staff (not going to mention names because it was all of them) to our lovely breakfast girls to the wonderful housekeeping. You made our 2 weeks wonderful and memorable. Family is a big word in Italy and they not only made us feel special but also part of the Campo Marzio family.
Can’t name a thing

Like a five star hotel. Park-like setting. Everything like new. Extremely clean. Airy and open feeling. Very stylish, excellent breakfast, very good housekeeping and friendly staff. The room was extremely spacious. The views of the surrounding park were great. Easy walk to train station and located at entrance to historic district.
Brochures on things to do in Vicenza in room or front desk would have been helpful. There is a lot to see in town in terms of architecture and culture. But the staff was helpful with directions as well as calling a taxi when needed.

Hotel Campo Marzio has a fantastic location—perfect for exploring Vicenza on foot. The bathroom was modern, clean, and surprisingly spacious, which was a real highlight. Breakfast was very good with a nice variety, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful. However, the room itself felt a bit small, and the working table wasn't ideal for getting much done. The bed frame was an older wooden structure and not firmly attached, which affected the comfort a bit. Overall, a pleasant stay with a few room-related drawbacks.

The hotel is situated just outside one of the main gates of central Vicenza. All the shopping, restaurants and main squares are within a short walking distance. We found it very well located.the hotel exceeded expectations and we were very comfortable in a superb room. The welcome from Massimo was first class, warm and friendly, courteous and he gave us excellent dining recommendations and advice about Vicenza. The hotel had no issue with storing our bicycles and were very bike friendly. All in all a terrific hotel. We had a fantastic breakfast the following morning.
It was pretty near perfect.

A nice-sized room with a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. Climatization worked well and we could manually set it the way we liked it. The staff was friendly and the parking was nice to have. Breakfast was ok too.
The sounds from the hall and opening-closing doors from neighbors' rooms were annoying until midnight, waking us up always, I would suggest the hotel fixes the insulation and closing, opening of doors, it was annoying. The location was not bad but there were a lot of immigrants and homeless people around the hotel, drinking and "having fun" at night, but the windows were great so you could hear too much at night.

Lovely large room, excellent shower with a surprising light show feature which made us laugh first time we saw it! Staff are excellent and extremely helpful with all queries, very responsive. Extremely comfortable bed. Perfect location for walking into the centre of Vicenza and very close to bus and train station.
Lack of anywhere to relax outside, however we've been told that a terrace is planned for 2025. Appearance outside lets it down, don't be put off by that.

The location was great - close to the train station and the old city. The reception staff were all very helpful and friendly. There was a good choice of options at breakfast. The hotel was welcoming and the reception area was beautiful. The room had everything I needed and was comfortable. I enjoyed my visit very much.
The outside pedestrian access to the hotel entrance is not very good. You either have to squeeze through gaps next to the car barrier or walk through untidy grass or mud path to get to the entrance. The access needs tidying-up in keeping with the beautiful reception area inside. My room was at the back of the property and each night there was a lot of street noise and talking - one night around midnight it sounded as if someone was digging or mixing concrete!! Also, the funfair noise from the park next door was a bit annoying - not sure if the fair is always there or if it was just for the Easter holidays.

This hotel offers not only a great location near a lovely park but also spacious, bright rooms with fantastic views. The breakfast is solid and satisfying, just what you need to start the day. What truly stands out, though, is the staff—Massimo and his colleague are exceptionally friendly, cheerful, and always ready with helpful recommendations, without ever being intrusive. All in all, a very pleasant stay. We’ll be back!
