I loved the king sized bed that was extremely comfortable. The breakfast was simple but filling. The room was spacious which was nice. I loved the multiple seating options. The bathroom was spacious, as well. There was plenty of storage available which was an added plus. I loved the removable handheld shower head. We cannot wait to visit next year.

I know that it will be hard to install because of the age of the house, but it would have been nice to have a handrail for the stairs to the bathroom, and at least one grab bar for the shower. I would of liked a simple desk chair at the desk in the room.

We stayed for three nights in the Carriage House which was so spacious and very comfortable. It had a cabin feel and the garden around it is beautiful. We had breakfast one morning, coffee was fresh, orange juice, pancakes, muffins, cinnamon rolls, fresh fruits, oatmeal, cereal and other things. The hostess was very friendly and accommodating. Location was perfect for us as it is in the historic center of Appomattox, away from the heavier traffic of Lynchburg. Easy drive to:/from Liberty University. We will return for sure.

The grounds are exceptionally large and beautiful. If you had a stressful time in life, this is the place to relax, read and reflect. Great place also for family. The 3 sitting rooms on the first floor have comfy chairs and couches, loads of books on the shelf, travel and places of interest brochures and loads of games (board & card) games to play. Coffee is available 24/7. The proprietors are excellent.

The weather but they had no control over that. But it really didn’t make a difference.

The inn is completely charming, a feast for the eyes! I stayed there in Januuary when it was quite cold and loved it. I imagine it would be paradise in the spring! I met one of the owners, a lovely host! The sheets on the bed were so soft and smooth, and I appreciated the selection of books.

The heat in my room didn't seem to be working properly. However, it was such a picturesque room that I sent pictures to my friends and family!

The house was gorgeous, everything was clean and well maintained. The room was spacious and comfortable. I stayed here to visit family in Appomattox and the common rooms were perfect for spending time with them while I was there. Everything about our stay was communicated well, and everyone we met was very friendly.

My only complaint is very mild but the bathroom was very cold and the water did not get very warm. This is an old house and it was winter time, so it wasn't that surprising though.

Romantic setting, delicious breakfast, and private. Little things were great, like the bath robe provided, good water pressure, extra blankets, ambiance of music, desk with ice bucket/glasses and book of nearby restaurants/things to do. Better yet, the private entrance! Hope to return soon!

Need a shelf in the bathroom. Cushions on the feet of the dining room chairs. At 11 at night when someone decided to sit there and pull back the chair, it woke us up due to the proximity of our room. Then after a while they shoved the chair back in and the noise woke us up.

Dana was an amazing host. The breakfast was amazing each morning. The bed was super comfortable for a great night of sleep. My husband and I loved the Christmas Village. This is our second stay, and we look forward to our next visit.

Very minor thing for me was no breakfast meat with the French toast.

The Magnolia Room was extremely welcoming and comfortable. Having a nice sofa in the room made it easy to curl up w a good book or watch TV without sitting on the bed. The host was friendly, accommodating, and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. Access to the entire first floor made us feel right at home and relaxed. Can definitely recommend Longacre to others.

I knew when we booked that we would have a continental breakfast, which was good, but I always hope for a full course cooked breakfast when I stay in a B&B. The only other issue was a cold bathroom.

The suite was amazing, with two full beds, and a king size bed. The bathroom had two sinks, a full-length stand alone mirror, and a jacuzzi size bathtub. It was very clean, the house had board games, drinks in the fridge, and a huge back yard. It also had a nice breakfast was not exactly fancy with the breakfast, but it was pancakes or french toast, yogurt, juice, cereal, bagels, english muffins, etc.

I would have enjoyed having bacon or sausage with my breakfast.
