Pros: cost, breakfast items, comfortable bed and pillows, hot water in shower, friendly workers at breakfast Cons: the boy who checked us in was not informative at all. He acted like we were bothering him to check in. I don’t think he smiled once or said thank you. He didn’t even show us how to find the elevator. Another guest had to show us. We noticed an extra $100 charge on our debit card. When I called to inquire about it, I was told that the boy checking us in should’ve told us it’s an incidental charge. Nope- he never mentioned it. Like I said, he acted like he hated his job.

The room was clean and comfortable. Everything was great! And your evening employee...Penny....was WONDERFUL! I was worried about the weight of my luggage (if it is over 50 pounds, the airlines charge a LOT of money.) I asked Penny if there were a scale to weigh my luggage. She checked but there was none. HOWEVER, Penny went above and beyond the call of duty...she made efforts to LOCATE another scale and did so in only 15 minutes! I was so touched by her willingness to help, by her concern for my situation. I so appreciate her kindness, professionalism and desire to do all she can to help. I would recommend La Quinta not only for its cleanliness and comfort but ALSO because of Penny! She is a wonderful employee!

The only thing I didn't like was the taste of the water...I don't believe it's filtered. With the growing concern over PFAS (forever chemicals) and microplastics, it might be a good idea to invest in a water filtration system.

The one thing I like about the La Quinta Inn in Lynchburg, Virginia is that it is always clean. My girlfriend had an experience with one in Philly and it was horrible. There were roaches crawling off the bed when she pulled back the cover they were in the corner. I’m very particular about clean and lying in my face on pillowcases and putting my body on sheets in hotels. The La Quinta Inn, Lynchburg, Virginia has not been disappointing.

This is not a complaint, but I think that the La Quinta Inn could be a little more creative with the breakfast. It wasn’t bad, but they very seldom have bacon at the one in Lynchburg, Virginia.😊

The room was acessible and easy to get into. We had to bring our dog who had surgery recently and it was easy to walk her in and out. It was quiet, the bed was comfy, and the AC worked well. The staff was very friendly.

It seemed like the room was not thoroughly vacuumed in the corners- we had to check any spot our dog would be able to reach while we left the room and found some food and other trash items that were in reach able areas (under the sink, etc) they weren't visible unless you were looking though and the room itself was clean and comfy.

When my husband and I stepped into your hotel we was greeted by the front desk attendant, and she ask us to give her a moment due to she was checking in someone in. It did not take her long and she got to us in a timely manner and apologized for the wait. She was very friendly and polite. She checked us in and we went on to our room. When we got in the room it was so neat and clean and it smelled so fresh. The lobby area was neat and clean, the way to our room was neat and clean even the elevator was good and clean. Overall our experience at your hotel was amazing. We were celebrating our 18th wedding anniversary.

The only thing i did not like but did not have an issue with was the bathroom was to small to me. I am a plus size woman so I had to get dressed in the room. Which was fine cause I was with my husband.

The lobby is welcoming. Tempest is an amazing front desk agent. She is accommodating, understanding, and helpful. She literally exhibits what hospitality truly is. 🫶 They have a really good breakfast. The towels are super soft. There's coffee and hot chocolate in the lobby all day. It is located near just about everything.

We had two rooms. The coffee makers look like they had never been used, and they were dusty. The complimentary toiletries were empty in one room like they had not been changed out. There was a wash cloth hanging over the top of the shower curtain rod in the other room. Probably, missed by whoever cleaned the room. It's not a huge deal for me, but maybe for somebody else. The carpet in one room looks good, and the carpet in the other room looked bunched up in some places like it needed to be replaced but was otherwise clean. The room otherwise looked cleaned and vacuumed the beds looked changed and fresh.

This hotel was beautiful. We took a 24-day road trip and stayed at 13 hotels, and this was my favorite. It's not only very pretty but a super great value! It's very clean and comfortable. I was very satisfied and sad to leave.

I liked everything about this hotel except that they don't have butter on their breakfast bar. That seems odd because the breakfast was great. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention that the water pressure in the shower is not that great.

Very friendly receptionists. Rachel deserves special mention: large sympathy with unique needs of foreign, jetlagged travelers. Breakfast was copious and tasty. Free popcorn, drinking water & coffee. Universal USB outlet bedside for charging devices.

Credit card demanded at check-in, despite advanced payment. Pedestrians have a somewhat dangerous walk to the closest bus station.

Breakfast was ok. It was typical for most hotel breakfasts. The selection of foods was good. The staff at the check in desk were extremely friendly.

Our room and bathroom could be much cleaner. There was dirt/ dust and debris in the corners of the bathroom. There was a very musty smell in the room. There were 4 of us in the room and we only had 3 towels. We inquired about getting another set and were told there wouldn’t be more until the following morning after 10 am . This meant one of us was not able to shower.

Staff was very welcoming. Breakfast was perfect. Great variety.

Room service was lacking. It is complete bullshit that they don't service the rooms daily. You don't need to change sheets but towls should be every other day. COVID gave hotels the excuse to not do daily service but they have now raised rates that they are making money hand over fist. Hire more people. You can afford it.
