Got a better-than-expected, large, reasonably comfortable room at the last minute for a good price --- in other words, great value. Hotel is situated across from a Lowe's and near a Taco Bell and McDonald's. Staff was very friendly and accommodating; I got a 1-hour late checkout with no fuss and had an option to stay another couple hours for an extra $30. Overall, the hotel is good for a quick, cheap stay.

None of the hotel vending machines accepted credit cards and I don't carry cash, so I couldn't grab a snack or get water late at night.

There was no breakfast that I saw - only coffee, which was fine. The staff was outstanding - very friendly and accommodating. The facility seemed clean (my room did have a fairly strong smell of bleach when I arrived.) The bed seemed clean and was relatively comfortable. The pet policy is fantastic and probably the biggest plus of the property.

The facility is nice and clean, but is in need of updates and repairs. It seems that the staff does the best they can with the facilities they have. There were lovely flowers and a cute garden in certain places, but right by a cemented-over, abandoned pool with demolition debris strewn all over it. There were several patio areas on the backside of the property that had old furniture stacked and stored, which wasn't very attractive... The interior, again, seemed clean but really needed an overhaul - new carpet, paint, and fixtures.

The location is great! Staff is friendly, pleasant, and helpful. Bed was comfortable for the few nights we stayed. Room was clean and appeared to be recently renovated. Shower was HOT with great water pressure! Allowed dogs was a bonus!

Main areas (bed, shower, tables, very clean. Could do better with hidden area dust in corners, bathroom vent dusty, inside dresser drawers wiped out.

The hotel is perfectly acceptable, but the real highlight is the staff. They were accommodating, kind, and went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible (which was particularly important to me, since I had to come to the Red Roof last minute after an atrocious stay at another local hotel). Definitely recommend as a home base if you're visiting Lynchburg.

Location was ideal. We could walk to Taco Bell or Wendy’s. Lisa at the front desk was very helpful. Very responsive to our requests. The bed was very comfortable.

The toilet paper holder was falling off the wall. A corner of the sink needed to be cleaned. The nightstands needed to be dusted.

The desk clerk was awesome. Easily moved me to a near by room where the WiFi was working.

Hallways and stairways need new carpeting and walls in those are were damaged. Some from water damage and ware and tare. Ice machine was not working on second floor. The Rooms looked newly remodeled. But the bathroom fan needs to be on a separate switch from the bathroom light. The fan noise was very loud and annoying.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of our stay at your facility. When we arrived, there appeared to be no guests on-site, judging from the lack of cars. More guests did arrive later. We were greeted by a very pleasant staff member, who checked us in quickly and provided the necessary details. Walking to our room, however, there were two guest rooms with the doors open and apparent guests lounging on the beds. Just thought it was a bit strange. We moved our gear to the room, and departed for dinner. Upon our arrival, we were again greeted warmly, and we went to our room for bed. No more open doors. We fell asleep quickly, and had no issues through the night.

The view of an out of service pool, an apparently trashed handicapped device, and a some bricks strewn about were not appealing. Further, the apparent lack of a lock on the room window was a bit disconcerting when we discovered it before checking out the next day.

Easy check in and check out. Everything was in order.

The bathroom evaporation/air sucker was not working. Bathroom was filled with vapor after taking shower.

This location is central to all the places I needed to be. The staff was very helpful in resolving the booking issue. And they were very friendly

Staff was very friendly. The room was great, very nice and comfortable. We travel to Lynchburg alot for family, so we have stayed in several different hotels. This will definitely be our first choice for future trips.
