The location

Paid on booking. Got to the room to check in woman barely spoke. She took my card with no explanation why she needed it. Gave it back. I look the next day on my account she charged me for $170 dollars for something I don't know what. I called they said she did something and was going to get it cleared up and then the next day I look at my account again it went from $170 down to $151.79 I call back and they told me to talk to the manager and she wasn't there.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Whoever worked Sunday morning when i was headed out was really friendly and kind. I didn't get her name but she loves purple 💜. Another young woman named Dedrea was very pleasant and kind as well as helpful. Cudos to Dedrea and the lady that loves purple

The other thing I would change is breakfast should be complimentary for the price per night of the hotel

Location is convenient and easily accessible. My room was cozy, stylish and very clean. The bed was *incredibly* comfy! The shower was great in the AM with lots of warm water. Overall, a very restful night!

Building is comfortable but the exterior is dated and unexciting. Did not eat breakfast onsite. It would have been welcoming and convenient to have a staff member at the bar in the evening. The friendly and courteous frontdesk staffer handled my order but she was no bartender. I was a bit concerned when the nextdoor neighbors started to party in the evening -- the sound travels straight through the walls. Fortunately, they calmed down by bedtime and I only heard them again in the morning. And I always wish for a pool and/or sauna/whirlpool - but, alas, not at this location.

They were able to fulfill my request for a room near an elevator! I come to Lynchburg frequeny and none of the other hotels acknowledged nor fulfilled my request for a room near the entrance or an elevator.

I was surprised to find out they charged for parking. $10 a day.

The location to our event was close and easy to access. The front desk staff were friendly, polite and very professional.

That there was no complimentary coffee offered (we don't like the instant coffee in the rooms) and complimentary breakfast would be awesome.

Very nice, as you come to expect from Marriott. The sweet lady at the front desk asked the reason for our visit, we told her to visit the University, she gave us a room with a view of Liberty Mountain! Spacious room, comfy beds; highly recommend!

They had a Starbucks and the staff was very friendly.

Our TV had finger prints all over it and the elevator hadn't been inspected since 2022. It was making a weird noise. Also no continental breakfast.

As soon as I walked in the reception area was very clean, so was the room. Everything smelled freshly cleaned.

The marketplace tried to charge $20 to my account when none of the people in my room ever went to the marketplace

The cleanliness of the room was exceptional and the access to the balcony was nice to grab some fresh air. The bar in the lobby was nice and very comfortable to have a beer, cocktail, or glass of wine.

I wish there was some chairs and a table on the balcony to have a nice sit down or cup of coffee outside.

The rooms where clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the staff was friendly.

I didn't like that the bar area is not really a bar area and it closed early on a Friday night. Also the water pressure could have been better.
