Location is excellent, tucked right off of Candler's Mountain Road and Wards Road, near shopping and restaurants and with easy highway access. The old restaurant drive through right in front of the property is a garbage eyesore, but the grounds of the hotel are well tended and provided good grassy areas to walk the dog. We were warmly greeted by the front desk staff, with a treat bag for the pup, and check-in process was a breeze. Room was large, bathroom was small (not much room to maneuver) but it was spotless and the wall-mounted toiletries, both by the sink and in the tub, were great. Overall, a very comfortable stay.

The carpet in the room was badly stained in several spots, the bed was creaky and the noise in the hallway was disruptive to me and the dog. While I understand having to pay a pet deposit to have the pup travel with me, $75.00 for a one night stay seems a little outrageous.

Loved how close it was to the campus and restaurants. Loved that the entire staff was really friendly. I have never stayed anywhere where the maintenance, housekeeping, and breakfast staff were friendlier than the front desk! This hotel was exceptional at customer service. Room was well lit, AC went really low which was amazing, and the room was a good size and had a chair in addition to only being able to sit on the bed. Loved that they kept coffee, hot tea, and cookies out all day. I appreciated that they empty trash and give fresh towels if u are staying more than one night.

For how much it costs, I thought the breakfast could have been better. They didn't restock things much past 930 even tho breakfast went till 10. They cleaned up most of it by 945 even tho people were still coming down. I think for that price they should keep it well stocked and offer waffle makers or pancakes. I didn't like how tiny the bathroom was in the king room. It was hard to dress in there and u could barely close the door without having to squeeze in first. I didn't realize they come into your room of you are staying more than one night. I wish they had told me that upfront.

Staff were amazing, specifically the front desk staff and manager. The facility is very clean. The room was very clean and the beds were so comfortable. Pricing was great. Overall, I will say this is the best hotel experience I have ever had, including everywhere I have been on vacations, etc. Highly recommend 👌

There was absolutely nothing I did not like. I loved everything!

Jessie was an amazing Hostess. His customer service was A-1 he was extremely helpful. The entire time he was on shift while we were there anything we needed he ensured we received it in a timely matter. My Goddaughter left her chrome book and he called us once he realized it and organized us picking it up. He was just really helpful and made our stay at the Holiday Inn an even better experience. Thank you so much Jessie.

Breakfast was ok. I think our family was a little tired and not very hungry in the morning because of late night snacks. I liked that I could get a decaf hot tea in the lobby before bed at like 10:00pm. The oatmeal and coffee the next morning was good...that's what I had for breakfast :)

The price was a bit high. We used booking for the reservation and will book directly next time, to work directly with the hotel :)

It was a great location,very clean, very professional and friendly staff members. Breakfast was very excellent with many choices of hot or cold foods, fruits, pastry ,yogurts,etc.

Breakfast was good with healthy options. Not just pastry or doughnuts but omelets, pork and turkey sausage, fresh fruit, cereals, yogurt, oatmeal..etc.. excellent coffee.

Cable reception on some channels was a bit pixelated, but could've been due the weather.. The hostess at check-in and check-out was lovely and kind as was the rest of the staff. Would highly recommend this hotel to friends and family of Liberty University students.

Lachell checked me in. She was awesome. The young lady checking me out was also friendly, courteous and professional. Great staff!

Close to shopping. It was a stop over night to rest mid destination, so good to pick up a few things .

The cleaning or air freshening product scent was very strong. Not an offensive smell, just a bit much of it

It was clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly. I greatly appreciated starting my day with a delicious hot breakfast.

There was nothing that I did not like.
