David and the other front desk associate on the night shift were very kind, welcoming, and accommodating. David even remembered my extra blanket and walked out from behind the desk to give it to me. The coffee, cookies, and breakfast were tasty and the setup was clean/organized. The bed/room was comfy and clean. House keeping personnel were nice too.

The daytime front desk associate always appeared to be "occupied" whenever my family walked through the lobby area (4 or more times and she was not helping anyone) and she did not demonstrate great customer service. She was not mean or rude per se, but just very uninterested. Also, the elevator felt and sounded like it was going to get stuck at any moment. It encouraged me to get some extra steps in on the stairs.

Good location, they have cookies and fresh lemon water in the lobby. Clean rooms, staff friendly at check in. Hill city pub near buy has great burgers! Husband and son said breakfast was good.

Unfortunately the elevator was out of service upon checking out and we were on 3rd floor, lugging stuff down 3 flights was rough, We had to hurry to get to our next destination, it was early and couldn’t wait for staff to help- but there did offer! Busy road/airport nearby so was kind of loud if light sleeper. Little things, still would book again!

Breakfast was very good (wish for bacon). I’ve stayed here several times and the staff could not be more friendly and helpful. I’ll continue stay here as i travel back and forth from NC to VA. I definitely recommend to my friends.

The ONLY problem I have is with the magnetic room keys having to be rekeyed often. This has happened on my last 4 stays. It’s a good thing I request a ground floor room, otherwise it would be quite frustrating when your hands are full and you have to go back to the front desk to have your key re-keyed. Thank you.

The lobby made a good first impression when I walked through the door and then it got even better when I was greeted by Phil, the night shift front desk clerk. He was extremely friendly in a very genuine way, and made me feel very welcome after a long hard day. The staff at the desk when I checked out were extremely nice as well. The lady working the breakfast area was equally friendly and I enjoyed joking with her. There was good selection on the food, and though not gourmet, was very satisfactory. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and I will stay again on my next trip to Lynchburg.

My only very slight negative, hardly worth mentioning, is that there a cough drop paper on the floor, tucked back under the edge of the bed, that the cleaners had missed. If that is the worst thing I can say, then GREAT JOB !!

Only thing. The room we started in on the first floor. The one bed had some hair in the sheets, thinking it had been there awhile so room hasn’t been used. And strong smell of some kind of detergent or spray on the bed and sheets and pillows was very overwhelming. But other than that it’s a good place to stay

Most of the staff were exteremely friendly and helpful! My friend and I had to adjust our booking, due to the unforseen events of Blue Ridge Rock Festival, but weren't exactly sure how to go about it and the front desk was able to point us in the right direction. We also accidentally left some items behind, which the front desk was able to communicate to their housekeeping team, who recovered the items & got in touch with us within the same day of our check-out to get them back to us.

There was one lady at the front desk in particular who seemed a bit reluctant to help my friend and me with our questions, for reasons unknown to us, that we didn't particularly appreciate. Other than that, we had a great stay!

Breakfast was delicious. Hot foods were perfect temperature. Wide variety for any diet restrictions. Clean breakfast area and never low on any of the choices being offered. The TV was on a nonpartisan channel which made the atmosphere friendly and peaceful!

The staff was wonderful. Our check in was in the evening, and that evening manager was awesome. so friendly and helpful. It is just a pleasure when people are pleasant and welcoming. Makes your stay more enjoyable for sure. the beds are comfortable. the rooms are clean. They even provide service if you are staying for more than one night, which many hotels do not do anymore.

I loved everything about it! It was clean and refreshing! The staff showed great hospitality! Everyone that worked there including the cleaning staff gave excellence! I was greeted with a smile and a warm welcomed every-time I walked through those doors, and not only on the first day but all 4 days I was there! I most definitely will be staying again!

I believe the 1st employee was Denise at check in. She was exceptional. The parking, lobby, hallways, elevator & room we're clean, fresh and much appreciated. David was just as good & kind. Chocolate chip cookies were right on time. We especially loved the lemon water. The breakfast was wonderful & the lady keeping it going was top notch.
