The beds and pillows are extremely comfortable. The mini bar is a nice touch, with the complimentary bottled water. The towels are very soft and fluffy. The staff are amazing, nothing too much trouble. I ate breakfast and dinner here and can definitely say it's worthwhile eating here. The breakfast is so tasty, the bacon is thick and delicious. There is plenty of parking and in a good location for other local amenities. Absolutely worth the money to stay here!

Make sure to move the shower mat so that it doesn't cover the drain hole when cleaning ;-) I didn't realise and it quickly filled with water. Other than that, no issues (not that was an issue!) :-)

The bed was very comfortable and overall the room was clean. Bathroom was also lovely and clean. We had a meal and the food was great, drinks were good as well. Breakfast was excellent 10/10.

The room was extremely hot when we arrived, and I couldn't get the window to stay open (probably user error). I would also add a suitcase rack, one of the foldable ones (might have missed), so you don't have to open your suitcase on the bed or floor. I did notice dust had settled on the wall behind the headboard and potential mould on the pictures. I am guessing it had been missed, as everything else was very clean.

Very comfortable and clean bedroom. Food (lunch, dinner and breakfast) all excellent. Good service by staff who were all pleasant and attentive.

Road traffic noise from the road at the front of the property kept us awake at night. We were a family party with 3 separate bedrooms and those in 2 of the 3 rooms had disturbed nights sleep. The temperature was hot on the night we stayed but because of the traffic noise we had to shut the windows and use the small fans that were provided but traffic noise could still be heard.

The staff were very good & went out of their way to ensure our stay went well. The room was comfy, the bed amazing & lovely big bath towels in the bathroom. The food was exceptional & we couldn’t fault anything. It was very tasty, very well presented & plentiful. There is a comfy seating area by the log burner to sit around afterwards & that was very welcome after the lovely meal. 10/10 👍👍

Minor details - bathroom had no extractor fan or radiator. But it would not stop us from returning.

The Inn was comfortable. The room was airy. Appreciated the tea-coffee maker in room and comp. waters. The breakfasts were good as were the dinners. Also liked the rear garden. We were there for the last day of the Badminton Horse Trials.

If you stay, note the steep stairs to upper lodgings. WiFi is poor and weak. I would have appreciated more current information on local transportation, such as bus and taxi info. Meeting one of the proprietors, James, on our last morning, made a very favorable impression, he was most helpful, and I would rebook.

I liked all of it. My daughter and I stayed here as we went to good times festival and also visiting my son too. We dined here in the evening and breakfast in the morning. The food on both occasions was delicious. Our room was comfortable and the bed was particularly nice. Tea and coffee facilities in the room and complementary bottled water. We would definitely stay again.

Nothing we liked everything

The owner came in on their day off to provide an excellent breakfast as we were the only patrons in the Inn. The grounds are lovely with beautiful flowers on the outdoor patio. The room while small was very well appointed and clean!

The weather was very hot and the window in the room when open allowed busy street noise. This would not be an issue in cooler temperatures.

The Lamb on the Sunday Roast was inedible. Just sinew, gristle and fat. I complained to the waitress but she just said "Sorry about that". Not her fault, obviously. I wouldn't normally mind because the rest was lovely but, we paid extra for a selection of 3 meats, one being dreadful.

We received a warm welcome. The manager helped with our bags. Comfy seating area in restaurant near a lovely wood burning stove. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean with a well stocked mini-bar. The bed was comfortable, and the room was warm and cosy. The menu is very good with something for everyone. Portions large. Food arrived well presented and tasted really good. Good breakfast choice and friendly service. All in all, it was a very enjoyable stay. Would highly recommend and will be visiting again

There was nothing whatsoever to dislike

Service was excellent and welcoming. It was kind of the chef to cook us breakfast earlier than usually due to the time we had to check out. The rooms felt homely, and the decor was beautiful. The mini fridge facility is an excellent addition and appreciated the complimentary water.

It would be good if there was someone to contact before the stay. On the day of arrival, we tried several times to call the hotel to tell them we wouldn't be able to arrive during the check-in time (3-6). (Only learnt about this check-in time a day before check-in). The phone didn't even ring. It went straight to a voicemail. Please make it aware that the check-in times won't be the same time stated on booking.com. Arriving between 3-6 became a hassle. This was the only downside to the stay.
