Great Room Layout. It is so important and rare to have access to the bathroom from the living area. My brother & wife slept in the bedroom and I slept on the sofa bed in the living room. When I had to use the bathroom in the middle of the night, I did NOT have to go through the bedroom (which would have caused me to waken them from sleep). So Good!!! Kitchen was well enough supplied. Comfortable large easy chair & other seating.

The mattress on the sofa bed was very thin and I could feel the bars. I suggest having extra mattresses that can be brought into the room when adults want to use the sleeper sofa as a bed. Maybe you could have a max of 3 adults, or 2 aduts and 2 small (max 10 years old) children.

Sara was very kind and helpful, very sweet lady that helped us find fresh towels. Also, the front staff helped us find a battery charger for our car. Although saw a dog on the corridors without a leash. Did not liked at all… staff worker need to enforce the safety of the guest. Overall a good stay.

Very friendly staff, clean spacious rooms, good value. We were pleased to find a good rate on a busy weekend. Our room was in close proximity to the lobby so we were worried about sound but it was only briefly an issue. Room was very clean. There was quite a strong scent of cleaning soap but we got used to it. The kindness of the staff made up for it. Large parking lot made for easy parking.

I liked the layout of the room. Definitely perfect for two people. The bed was clean. The bathroom was clean. Nice little kitchen area. Great if your staying for a few days.

I didn't like the shower fixtures in the bathroom. Can use an upgrade. The back area of the hotel that is meant for the guest to sit outside could use an upgrade. Was very dirty. I did not sit in any of the chairs. Other than the small stuff overall a good stay for the price.

Multiple housekeeping staff LOUDNESS outside our room early in the morning—apparently assignments and morning greetings loudly discussed in another language for at least 30 minutes while we were still in bed.

Great location, numerous nearby stores and restaurants and conveniently located near several healthcare facilities. Check in staff was great and friendly!! “Kitchenette” area had a full size refrigerator/freezer, two burner cooktop, coffee maker.

Strong smell of weed in the room. The door to the room rattled when other doors were opening and closing on the hall. I laid my bag against it but it didn’t help much.

All the staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpful. I would rate excellent on this!

We wanted a king size bed in the king size suite! We booked through Booking.com and they advertised that king sized beds were available upon request.

The room, though a bit worn, was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Access was easy, though the hotel was a bit out of our way. All in all, an excellent stay and a very good price, with nice folks at the desk and a very clean room being icing on the cake. The room had a fully functional kitchenette, which we did not use as overnight guests.

When I checked-in, I was charged $50 in advance, as a "security deposit". That was a new one on me, but the clerk said it would be returned once the room was checked, and in fact, it was.

I love this place. I am originally from RVa and have returned an infinite number of times and I feel like I have tried everywhere in Glen Allen Short Pump and downtown. I like Candlewood because the staff is always super friendly and helpful, the room is large and quiet, parking is easy, the location is good for my needs.

The location was great, very close to shopping and lots to do with family. The kitchen was clean and had everything you need.

I wish there was a couch to sit on. The Ac/heat fan was really loud so the TV was hard to hear.
