The staff at the reception were very friendly and helpful. Upon check-in, they explained everything about the city and how to get around, which was really appreciated. The room had a small fridge, which came in handy. The sea is quite close, but the beach is actually a bit far. The hotel recommended a shuttle service that picks people up from hotels and drops them off at the beaches - it's convenient, but you can also use public transport, which in some cases is much cheaper. Either way, you'll need transport to get to the nice beaches, as most of them are far or even outside the city. The air conditioning worked well, which was a big plus.

One downside was the very small shower cabin, which made it a bit uncomfortable. Also, our room was on the ground floor with a window facing the inner courtyard. There was only a sheer curtain, so since we often saw staff walking in the courtyard, we had to keep the shutters closed for privacy. Still, overall it was a good experience!

The receptionist lady, Serena is a fantastic hotelier, makes checking in to a real pleasure and providing all necesary info with enthuiasm and lot of smile. The room is simpla, but spacious, clean and providing the promised seaview from the balcony. The rooftop terrace is huge and exvellent to relax there a bit on the sunbeds provided. The old town is 10-15 mins walk at the waterfront. Restaurant is next door and it is good. Parking is easy around the hotel and free of charge. We didn't try the breakfast, but seen the offer it looked pretty average, so we took breakfast elswhere.

The bed was very soft to our taste and it was very short(180cm I guess).

We had a fantastic experience at Villa Piras in Alghero. We chose a room with a front sea view, and it was absolutely worth it — spending the evenings on the terrace, listening to the waves, was unforgettable. The rooftop terrace is also a great spot, especially at sunset. The staff were excellent. Maximiliano at reception was incredibly kind and helpful — he gave us great recommendations for restaurants and beaches, printed useful information, and made sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was very good, with a wide variety, and the ladies there were very attentive to details. Everything was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. We will definitely retur

The staff were extremely friendly and responsive. They gave us good recommendations for where to go and what to visit. The breakfast was an average- nothing too special but everything was fresh and tasty.

Unfortunately it was really noisy. We had to turn the fridge off as it was making some loud noises during the night. Also we had a bad luck with the neighbors that were screaming and laughing all night long until 5pm so we couldn’t fell asleep at all. The jacuzzis on the top is paid 10 euro per person for 30min which is not too bad but the water is cold and it doesn’t make sense to use it.

The very best thing about this property was the concierge who greeted us when we arrived and advised us where to go while we were there, Massimo! What a wonderful ambassador for this gem of a hotel that we found when making a last minute booking for our last night in Sardinia. Our room was bright and spacious and clean. The largest room and bathroom we had during our week long stay and they only one with a balcony. The beds were the most comfortable we had experienced and the air conditioning was perfect, noiseless and maintained a perfect temperature in the room during the night which gave us both a glorious sleep. There is a walk to the town of perhaps 20 mins but it is a lovely walk that I highly recommend doing at sunset as we got some of our best photos on our way to the old town for dinner. Along the way there were some lovely restaurants and bars and it had an up market feel to it. There were also a few market stalls if you fancied a browse. Massimo directed us to park our car behind the hotel which was free and perfectly close by. He also gave us a tourist map, marking out the main streets of the old town and circling where we might find some nice restaurants. Breakfast was varied and lovely with plenty of options, savoury and sweet and ran from 7.30 to 10am. Checkout is early, at 10am, but that suited us on this occasion as we headed to a beautiful beach a little out of town that was recommended by Massimo. If I was to pick something then it would only be that 10am seemed to me like a very early check out time. We were more used to 11am from other hotels we had stayed at.

Maximilliano & Selena on reception were very helpful, riendly and professional. The room was large & clean. There was a nice outside area for sitting with a drink. There was a secure parking garage.for €10 a day.

The bedroom was big but the shower room was quite small and the door opened into you if opened when you were standing at the wash basin. The shower cubicle was also very small. We had a Seaview room, but you couldn't really see much of the sea through the buildings in front..

excellent hotel. the room was very big and super clean. we upgraded to balcony with sea view and it was totally worth it. the staff was very friendly from the security guard to the ladies at breakfast. they were always very helpful and smiley. the breakfast was plentiful with fresh buffet every morning. and let's not forget the rooftop terrace with an amazing view on the sea.

it's not really a bad thing but the room could do with a lamp. or maybe they could use less brighter bulbs for the bedside. the light was too bright for us so we had to turn on the light in the bathroom and leave the door ajar.

We recently had 2 nights here and the front desk staff are wonderful, friendly and helpful/informative. The reception is open 24/7 and we used the parking option which is around the back. The rooms are really spacious and had a balcony. It’s a little out from the old town, about a 15 min walk, but it’s along the beautiful Alghero sea front so it’s no trouble at all. Highly recommended and would stay there again .

Would benefit from a kettle in the room

The staff were very friendly and accommodating, with a special mention for Marco and Serena at reception. The breakfast was good and typical continental fare. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. The hotel is about 25 minutes by taxi from the airport and you should expect to pay around 35 euro. Tip...take the bus from the airport to Alghero, it costs only €1.30 one way and takes around 35 minutes. There is a supermarket within 10 minutes walk of the hotel. Old town is roughly a 15 minute walk from the hotel. Overall, this is a very nice hotel with fantastic staff throughout, and I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is slightly out of the centre and although within walking distance of old town, it might not suit a person with mobility issues. The front rooms of the hotel overlook a fairly busy road which some may find the traffic noise an issue.
