Casa Kapuas was a great place to stay and would 10/10 recommend. The rooms were a great design, and it really felt like we were in paradise. An extra big shout out to the lads who made us feel extremely welcome every time we’d entered and left the property, and gave us a tonne of recommendations - so so friendly and we’ll be sure to visit you again! It’s just under a 10 minute walk to the beach front with great food options around too!

Casa Kapuas is fantastic!!!!! We stayed there for 5 nights but we wish we could stay there for more nights! The location is so good! Close by everything and yet at a quiet place. Super! It is the first stay were they offer you coffee and tea for free. Best service! And Tan makes the best cappuccino we had so far at the Gili’s. Tan helped us very good and he is always friendly and gives you definitely a welcome feeling! We had good conversations with Tan! Open person. Also the other staff is very friendly and we eat the best scrambled eggs at Casa Kapuas! The owner is also very friendly! What I say… it is just a perfect place to stay when you are in Gili Trawangan. The rooms are simple but gives you everything you need! The rooms are very clean. When we have to leave, Tan gives us a present! So thoughtful and sweet! This was our 3rd time in a row to Gili T. Next year definitely will stay here again. If there is availability….

Everything was good!

The room had everything I needed and the aircon was perfect as it was so hot on Gili T! Having your own terrace to chill on and a pool right at your door was great too! The best thing about this place was the staff - they were always so helpful and lovely! I’d like to give Tan a special mention - he was fantastic and helped to make my stay very enjoyable :)

I chose this location because I didn’t want to be on the main strip near the port, but the downside is that the location does mean that you need to take a bike if you want to go to most places on the island. The staff were great and gave me a bike to rent, but at times it would have been nice not to have to use a bike to get around.

This place was amazing! Such an amazing vibe thanks to Tan, Marco, and Deka. I stayed at a few hotels in Bali, but hands down this place was the most memorable. Had a great time just hanging out at the bar having Bintangs and great tasting coffee. It was my first time showering outside and it was so refreshing. The room was clean and the AC was perfect. Also the pool was nice and clean. Overall an awesome experience and definitely my favorite place throughout my 2 week vacation. Most definitely recommend Casa Kapuas!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Casa Kapuas in Gili Trawangan, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality that set the tone for our entire stay. The staff at this cottage truly made our visit exceptional—they were not only incredibly helpful but also authentic in their interactions, always ready to assist with a smile or engage in a friendly chat. It felt like we were staying with old friends rather than at a hotel. The peaceful ambiance of the cottage added to the charm and made it a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. Every aspect of our stay was flawless, and we truly felt taken care of. Whether it was arranging activities, offering local recommendations, or simply ensuring we had everything we needed, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. I highly recommend this cottage hotel to anyone visiting Gili Trawangan. It's a perfect blend of comfort, warmth, and authentic hospitality that will make your stay truly special.

Casa Kapuas is the best! The place is beautiful, the beds are comfortable, the rooms are cleaned daily and it’s a 10 minute walk to the Main Street. But the staff is really what makes this place great! We received a welcome drink and cold towel on arrival and were sent a long list of recommendations for everything. Every request we had (like extra towels) were immediately met, and when we ordered coffee they even brought it to our patio. Thank-you to the staff for being so welcoming and making us feel relaxed and taken care of!

We liked everything!

We arrived and we were welcomed by a semi open building with main area and the all those little beautiful bungalows. Cozy and pretty . The staff is very kind and nice . The room was always very clean and so cool with outside toilets and shower. Surrounded by nature everywhere. If you are looking for a very cozy boutique feeling and clean bright place ... This is the place. If look for big resorts keep looking. But it s your loss and you will miss out!

All good The building is still brand new and they are making changes and improved. Please put a mirror inside for ladies. ( They already know and are on it).

This was the perfect place for us to stay on Gilli T. It was close enough to everything but far enough away from the clubs and main strip which we were glad of heading home at night! The bungalows are gorgeous. All individual with very nice decor and the outdoor bathroom was really cool!! There’s and outdoor chill out area for each bungalow too which we loved including a hammock and beanbag and right beside the pool. The staff working there were so so nice and helpful, making us unlimited cappuccinos and helping us to organise ferries and bikes etc plus some good food recommendations! There was always chilled water available for free. Thank you so much!!

The staff constantly went above and beyond, spoiling us and making us feel truly special.The bungalows were meticulously cleaned every day, contributing to an atmosphere that was always friendly and joyful. We quickly felt a genuine connection with Marco, Alpin, and their team, making it feel like we had established friendships. Their hard work and dedication to making Casa Kapuas Bungalows a welcoming heaven is evident, and they truly deserve the highest praise. We can't wait to return and experience their unparalleled hospitality once again.

I honestly don’t leave reviews often but Casa Kapuas deserves it. The property itself is lovely and clean with a nice pool and a little hammock and terrace at each bungalow. The bungalows are well maintained, super cute inside, and feature a huge outside bathroom. The bathrooms are clean and modern (nice shower and water pressure compared to other places I’ve stayed at in Asia). I really want to rave about how amazing the staff are! We were offered round the clock free coffee (cappuccino, lattes etc not just black coffee) and cold water. Our laundry was taken care of, we could rent bikes for cheap, breakfast was good, and they even helped my dad print something and directed me to a bakery where I ordered a birthday cake. The attentiveness was incredible. The hotel also arranged all of our transfers to and from Gili Trawangan. Unfortunately, we had a miscommunication about the time of the boat departure that caused us to nearly miss the boat. One of the staff members called the boat company and had them wait for us while he personally escorted us to the pier and helped me buy the boat tickets. If we missed our boat, my parents would have missed their flight home so he saved us a lot of money and hassle! If you’re coming to Gili Trawangan, I cannot recommend Casa Kapuas and their staff enough.

As a small point of improvement, I would add water jugs and a spoon at each bungalow so you could clean the sand off your feet before entering the rooms.
