Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Convenient - close to train station and easy access to Venice. Room very clean and had all the basics.

Door to bathroom was a folding door that potruded into the room, which was very awkward. Room was on ground level, so I asked if it was OK to leave window open and was told that would be fine. However, I didn't specifically ask whether I needed to fully close the shutters, which were partially closed but unlocked when I arrived. I found it very disconcerting, then, when someone came by later in the evening and closed the shutters from the outside.

Very much enjoyed our 2 nights here. Homely, clean and comfortable with very helpful, pleasant staff who took great care of us. The included breakfast was just beautiful with a great selection. The street was quiet. The room was a reasonable size and nicely appointed.

Would like it if facecloths were provided in bathroom, but this seems to be common in Italy that they're not provided. What does one use to wash face? Not a great choice of restaurants close-by, couldn't find a nice Italian one, but there was a very good chinese one "Ristorante Orientale" which we really enjoyed.

This was my second time to stay at this property. I like that it is close to the train station in Mestre, has gated parking, and a good breakfast with many options (eggs made to order.) The staff are always friendly and welcoming. If you are traveling with a car and a lot of luggage, this place is perfect for day trips in to Venice. There is also a bus stop just around the corner. Each time I have stayed here, I have been most impressed by the cleanliness of the rooms and bathrooms. There is also air conditioning—very welcomed on this trip in the heat of summer.

It is my first time in Venice, and as it has the reputation of a very touristic town, I did not expect too much of the accommodation either. However, my expectations were indeed exceeded. The room was very clean with a modern design. A lot of details such as the vintage closet and curtains, the modern design of the bed shows that the host did not cheap out on any details. The thing I liked most about this place and I believe is worth coming again is that the service was very good. At check-in the person from the front desk even came with me to show me the room. The breakfast was very delicios and with a lot of types of food. I wish more hotels would have breakfast like this to be honest. The lobby is very cosy and perfect if you need to get some work done. Also, coffee is available 24/7.

Honestly nothing.

The whole concept is very cosy and symphatic. There are two houses, one on the opposite of the other with the apartments. In the main house is the kitchen where you can find very tasteful breakfast and good coffee. Our apartment was in the house across the small street and it was very fine. Not too big but consists everything you need. Right next to the apartments is parking place. Everything is secured by the automatic door with the card-key and the it feels very secured. Just two minutes by walk from the apartment is a bus station with the direct line to Venice. Even better is to walk a few meters more and take a train cause the ride is much more comfortable and it has no stop station till Venice. Anyhow, you will be in Venice in max 10 minutes.

The wardrobe in our house was quite shabby and old (retro style) but it has a bad smell on humidity and mold. Maybe it is better to replace it with the new one.

Great location, 5 minutes walk to the station which has regular trains to Venice SL, costs EUR 3 return and takes 10 minutes. Airport shuttle runs directly to the same train station too. Large comfortable bed, very clean and nicely decorated room with a good shower. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice and very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended if you are visiting Venice and are looking for something quiet and slightly cheaper than in the main tourist hotspot.

Really very friendly staff, always helpful, but never imposing. Nicely designed room, always clean, comfortable temperature, comfortable mattress and pillows, big bed for adults and a really comfortable wide blanket. The breakfast also delicious and offering a variety of food. Mestre as a location is a specific one, but this place gives you a really safe and nice feeling of being in a villa. Quiet, birds singing in the morning. And really close to the train station, which I would consider the most comfortable way to get to Venice (10 min ride, lots of trains running). If you need to park your car, not sure which location could be better

All in all, we enjoyed our stay although our expectations were not fully met. Customer service was excellent. Also, great breakfast with lots of options available.

AC was not powerful enough. For superior level room, I would have expected free water and proper glasses (not plastic). Cleaning during the stay was not good enough; the balcony table was left unclean, dirty coffee mug left also behind and no rubbish taken out. No English TV channels. The rest was ok.

From the moment we arrived, the staff's warm hospitality made us feel right at home. The location is convenient for those looking to explore Venice without staying in the crowded and noisy city center. The B&B is near public transport (Bus and train station), making it easy to reach Venice. The delicious breakfast was served each morning with a wide variety of offerings. The cleanliness of Chiara Lodge is outstanding. Our room was spotless, providing a fresh and inviting atmosphere. The bed was very comfortable.

This is a minor suggestion, but as feedback for the owners: While parking is available at a reasonable price, it would enhance our sense of security if the gate at the parking area could be locked.

The breakfast was great, staff were very helpful and accommodating and went over and above to help with transportation and boxed breakfast on the last day due to early departure. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was about a 5-7 min walk to the train station. The train ride to the island only 10 min with frequent departures. There was also a nearby market which was very convenient.

The pillows were a bit on the flat side but the bed was comfortable.
