The hotel is close to Airbus Finkenwerder, which suited our purpose. However, it is also in the centre of the small town, and it is easy to get a river ferry to Altona from a stop very close by. Supermarket across the road, some eateries around the corner, ample car park. Breakfast is good, but a bit pricey for what it is. I did a booking mistake, and staff was kind enough to find a workable solution for me, for which they have my full gratitude.

Wi-fi is a bit temperamental. If you have difficulty with stairs, insist on a ground-floor room. The stairs are narrow and steep - think warship-type steps. Breakfast is a bit pricey at EUR 12.90, especially when there's a Backerei round the corner.

Clean, comfortable room which one was enough. Parking backside of hotel (lot of spaces). Perfriendly (charge for one night with the dog +15euro) Gas heathers on the walls and you can easy regulate which temprature you would like. We use ferry Boat to go to Hamburg (very easy buy the tickets in the port and go there) + you must to take the train/bus also to came to old centrum. Dog of course everywhere with us without problem and charge free. Perfect traditional small bakery on the corner from the hotel

Great value for money, and check-in was smooth. On the day of check out the young lady at the reception had great English and was very helpful. I accidentally left my second mobile phone in the room, went back and the lovely lady at the reception was very helpful in finding the phone. It is a shame I forgot to ask her name, my sincere thanks to her.

Everything was great, clean, cozy, and silent. Free parking, perfect location, 15 minutes on ferry, and you are in the city center. For this price it is an excellent solution. I will definitely come here again. The hotel is underestimated.

Quality compared to price is excellent.

Nice room with a balcony, spacious bathroom, very good value for money. Sufficient heat and other small details in the room makes living comfortable.

The location is okay. You just need to take the boat to cross the river. Going to the city center takes nearly an hour. If you're not in a hurry. The view is wonderful.

There is not much to complain about considering the price. you sleep well in the large rooms. also newly renovated bathroom

Check in was fine and speedy and the staff were very friendly. The room was large and the bathroom was modern, clean and the beds were comfortable.

The was no air conditioning which was noticeable because the weather was very warm and a little muggy and a fridge would really have been very welcome. The TV didn't have all the channels advised but this wasn't an issue thanks to my iPad!

NEIGHBOURS MADE MUCH NOISE ! CHILDREN RUNNING THROUGH THE HOUSE ! BUT STILL A GOOD PLACE THAT I DO RECOMMEND.

Room was spacious, free parking, breakfast was tasty and staff were very courteous. They could accommodate late requests and location is midway to most hot-spots in Hamburg.
