Absolutely loved everything about this place! We had the quadruple room, which consists of two separate rooms and an ensuite bathroom. The rooms were beautifully decorated, clean and with thoughtful details that you will not find usually, such as slippers, small shower gel and shampoo, and the best: mosquito nets on the windows! There is a beautiful view from both rooms and you can even see the ocean from the pretty little balcony. From the other room you can watch the most beautiful sunset. The location is perfect as you’re in nature, while still only a short drive away from Siracusa. I highly recommend this place! Also, the hosts are very friendly and the communication is perfect.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

A wonderful short stay in a comfortable and peaceful room. Although not large, I had my own balcony, a well-equipped bathroom and comfortable bed. The property is located in a quiet neighbourhood, with a pretty garden and lots of sweet-natured cats. The host Stefano was very welcoming and friendly. I loved the breakfast served in the garden with homemade cakes and jams. I was only sorry I had to leave too early the second morning to be able to enjoy it then.

The only downside is that you really do need a car to get here and to visit nearby Syracuse. Also there is only one restaurant within walking distance and although the food there was good, we found the restaurant itself a bit soulless and empty.

Waking up to the sound of the waves after the storm came through was perfect. The host and his mother made specific food to cater to our allergies. Breakfast in the garden kitchen was amazing, a perfect balance of healthy and decadent. Decor had a whole lot of quirk, but that was fun for one night. We had a baby cot in one of the rooms, as requested, and it was all set up and super easy to stay with a 2-year-old. Communication with the host was easy, it was easy to find, and he had awesome recommendations for food nearby and in Ortgia.

The orange room was a lot to wake up in, but it did make us laugh. You really do need your own car if you plan on staying here and there is not a beach within walking distance, despite the proximity to water. There is, however, a nice nature walk nearby.

The accommodations were beautiful. My room was green, which is my favorite color ! Also, we were able to walk in the area freely. We felt safe in the area we traveled easily into Ortigia! Stefano recommended a little spot for lunch, which was wonderful and he and his family prepared a breakfast for kings and queens! It was visiting and staying in BB Le Saline, that Sicily may be my favorite place to travel! I hope God willing my husband and I will be able to travel back to Sicily and we will certainly head for Siracusa and

Stefano was a very friendly, welcoming and accommodating host, who provided the most wonderful breakfasts. Communications before we arrived at Le Saline were effective, and allowed Stefano to leave our keys in a locked key box as he was out when we arrived - all very straightforward and easy. There was ample parking in the area outside the B&B. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean with a nice bathroom and a good shower - and a proper bathroom cabinet, which was great! We had access to an enormous terrace with good views in every direction, comfortable seating and a proper cover for shade (which we needed). There were also mosquito screens on the terrace doors, which meant that we could leave them open at night for fresh air, instead of having to use the air con. We could see right across the nature reserve and across to Siracusa in the distance, and although we didn’t actually see a flamingo we heard them! Breakfast was available in the garden every morning, although there was the choice of an indoor sitting area if the weather didn’t allow alfresco eating. Everything Stefano served was freshly made by him (apart from the lovely cake, which was made by his mum, and the jams made by his cousin!), and he provided something different and amazing every day, with full allowances made for allergies and dietary preferences, which were all checked out in advance. The B&B is very creatively decorated and I loved the decor and the quirky colours. All the different areas are very well maintained with a clever use of space. Le Saline is definitely not suitable for guests with no transport, as it is a little way out of Siracusa/Ortigia, but this suited us very well, as it was extremely peaceful. We drove in and out of Ortigia twice a day and really enjoyed our relaxing afternoons on the terrace. Stefano advised us about parking, which was easy to access and not at all expensive. We loved our few days at Le Saline and very much hope to return sometime.

The host Stefano majestically balances kindness and professionality, the room had everything you'd need for a pleasant stay (high quality toiletries and a super-silent minifridge, to name a few), fresh breakfast prepared every morning according to each individual's needs, whether you're vegan or celiac or else. Despite being 10 minutes away from the wonderful Siracusa, the area is so quiet that it has been chosen by flamingos (there's a natural reservoir just as you cross the road) so if you're lucky, you may get the chance to spot them. Alternatively, enjoy the cute turtles that Stefano keeps in the spectacularly well maintained garden. The weather, the food, the surroundings, Stefano and his family's great hospitality: under no circumstances you will remain disappointed

The welcome and very guest orientated service of Stefano and his family is truly amazing! We experienced lots of flexibility and help in various matters during our entire stay. Our room and bed were comfortable and always kept very clean during our entire stay. The homemade breakfast, passionately served by Stefano, is so delicious and of a good variety every day. With only 10 minutes car drive from Syracuse and Ortigia island the location is perfect and - on top of it - very quiet.

Everything! B&B itself is nice, cozy and beautiful, you feel relaxed there. The host is exceptional! He gave us a warm welcome and cares about your stay, makes you feel at home. The rooms are spacious, well equiped and comfortable. He upgraded ours to a superior one which was free. The location is convenient and tranquil. My only regret is that I haven't booked more nights there due to my busy schedule but I would totally come back

An amazing place where details matter♥️ Stefano is a great host, very attentive and welcoming. It was very lovely to spend a night in this beautiful place. A very well maintained garden, lots of green and having a coffe under the orange & lemon trees with cute turtles around was priceless. The room was very spacious and well designed. It was very clean! The breakfast was really something to remember! Such an exquisite way to start our morning and with gluten free option! Stefano prepared everything very well and organized, no doubt he has Michelin hospitality experiences. We were just sad not being able to spend 1 more night due to their full calendar, but of course it’s normal. This place is just amazing! We are looking forward to go back♥️

Everything was perfect!

The hospitality was incredible. Stefano was the most amazing host-really looked after his guests and making sure they had a memorable stay. The breakfasts were the best breakfasts I think we have ever had, and really accommodating to my gluten free allergy. It was a lovely start to the morning. He gave us some great restaurant, beach, sight seeing recommednations and made us feel like home. The B&B is a short drive from Syracuse and close to lovely beach - ARenella. I really recommend you stay here - it was the best place we stayed on our holiday
