A spacious, well-equipped room with a bath as an unexpected bonus. It was good to have a choice of restaurants (Omani/Persian, Gastro-pub, Italian, Buffet restaurant, Edge) so we could change where to eat during our stay without leaving the hotel. The advertised shuttle service has a very limited schedule but the 24/7 taxi service with cars immediately available more than made up for this. Staff were helpful, friendly and efficient.

I'm not a fan of music being played all day around the pool, I prefer to listen to birds, the sea etc. but having said that the style of music played wasn't too intrusive. In the evenings, however, there were often events on the bottom lawn where the noise from the PR system was unnecessarily loud. I don't need to know which employee has won what award at a corporate event when I'm on holiday! I particularly disliked the live music that was played on our last night (Tuesday 20th) - we couldn't sit on our balcony as it was so loud. Also, planes going over as they came into land was unfortunate but there's nothing the hotel can do about this.

"The hotel itself is beautiful. The room was very clean. There are many restaurants and bars, so if you don't want to go out, everything is available inside. The Edge Bar was amazing, and the view was also nice. The staff there are all amazing. There's a restaurant buffet with a different menu every night. We stayed there for seven days and had breakfast every day. The only thing that bothered us a little was that sometimes I think they just refried some of the food in the restaurants, especially the hash browns. One morning, I ordered an omelet that never came, and the second day, it took 20 minutes to arrive. Also, one night at the seafood buffet, a lady named May at the fish booth was a little rude to us and gave us attitude. If they don't want us to order certain items, like lobster or fish, they should put up a sign indicating a limit, such as one per person or one or two per table. But a buffet is a buffet. There were four of us at the table, and our husbands had already ordered a lobster each. So, when my friend and I went to order another lobster for ourselves, May told us, 'Oh, that table already ordered the same thing.' It felt like she didn't want us to order for ourselves, so we just left."

Glass (instead of plastic) bottles in the rooms! The two large pools are have great design. The beach surrounded by rocks is also beautiful. Many free toys and games suitable for all ages.

The design of the hotel: It is functional but not as beautiful as several modern buildings in Arab style in the surrounding area.

The breakfast buffet is splendid in variety, all the food very fresh and very well prepared.

The fruit on offer for breakfast were all not ripe, the fruit juice accordingly unsatisfying; furthermore, the hotel is renting out part of their outdoor facilities in the afternoon and evening - including nerve-wrecking music entertainment, that makes the pool experience as well as the time you spend in your room rather unpleasant.

The view of the sea was amazing, and the staff were very friendly and professional. I asked them to heat up some food I had bought outside the hotel. I expected them to just microwave the food in the box, but they plated it nicely, heated the bread separately, and brought it to my room with cutlery and a napkin, along with a special lid to keep the food warm. Another day, I asked them to unlock the piano because I wanted to play for my mother. They did it without any delay or questions, and we had a great time playing the piano in the lobby with our family. The next day was my sister's birthday. We had bought a cake and candles outside and went to the lobby to light the candles and celebrate by the piano with the beautiful sea view. I asked them to bring us plates, cutlery, and an ice bucket for our drinks. They set up a table by the piano without any hesitation and made us feel very comfortable and at ease. On the first night, I didn't have any Omani currency and needed to pay for a taxi. The taxi driver wanted to charge me a lot for converting dollars to rials, so I asked the reception to pay the taxi fare and told them I would repay the hotel later. They did this without any questions. The hotel breakfast was amazing, very diverse and of high quality. They even allowed us to take anything we wanted back to our room in a plate or box after breakfast. This hotel gave us very sweet and memorable moments. If I travel to Oman again, I will definitely stay at this hotel. I wish I could give them 100 stars instead of just 5. By the way, there were stairs next to the pool that led down to the sea, where you could relax on the hotel's private beach or swim in the sea. I saw some very beautiful corals there, and they had created a very romantic environment.

Best located hotel in Muscat. I have to say the staff here are first class!. I have stayed here several times, and the whole experience from check in to check out is perfect. The breakfast has so much choice of the highest quality. The view over the Arabian sea was a great start to the day. The pool and the gym facilities are also first class. The service in Muscat is second to none when it comes to customer care. All in all i had a fantastic stay...well done to all the staff.

There was nothing that i didn't like. The hotel is first class. I was also told that the rooms are being renovated at some point in the near future. This would really make this hotel stand out from the rest in Muscat as the location is amazing.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel! The quality throughout is top-notch, and the location is absolutely perfect—with direct access to a private beach and a stunning infinity pool overlooking the sea. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the receptionist. Although there was a short wait for our room, it was handled with such friendliness that it didn’t feel like an inconvenience at all. Our room was spotless, spacious, and very well-maintained, with a comfortable bed that made for restful nights. The attention to cleanliness and detail was evident everywhere. Breakfast was a daily highlight—delicious, varied, and served with exceptional hospitality. The staff made every morning feel special. The pool bar service was equally impressive; drinks were served ice-cold and almost immediately after ordering online, with noticeable attention to detail. A special thanks goes to Reem at the reception, who was incredibly helpful and communicative throughout our stay. She truly made a difference in our experience. Overall, this was an outstanding getaway that we recommend to everyone. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Amazing resort right on the water with two great pools and a private beach that is easy to use and beautiful. Sunsets from this property are incredible. Restaurants and buffet were fantastic, especially Indian night at the buffet.

Only constructive things I would say are that I think some of the fixtures and the building could be freshened up a little. I would also ask to move up the dinner hours for most of the restaurants to 6p instead of 7p, especially for a family like mine with kids that would want to eat a little earlier. There are still food options, but not many of them. Overall, would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Muscat.

The Seaview balcony room had a lovely view. The breakfast was exceptional and the staff were very helpful. Having a private beach was also a highlight. I also felt comfortable as there were life guards both by the pool and on the beach. The hotel had many options of fun things for kids to do including a ping pong table and football goals on the lawn. My son was sick in the night and room service came promptly and changed the sheets. Checking in and checking out was seamless. The hotel also called a taxi for us to take us to the airport. I highly recommend this hotel.

Location: beautiful beach and right next to lovely restaurants by Qurum beach. Child friendly: the small things really made a difference for us (having a 3 year old and a baby). They had various flotation devices and pool/beach toys for the kids and it was one less thing we needed to worry or think about. Food: breakfast buffet was great, a very good selection Room: we had the double bed plus sofa bed. Comfortable and spacious. Warning for parents: bathroom does not have a lock so prepare for little ones to come say hello and hang out! Staff: were helpful and polite Beach: beautiful and clean (bring water shoes because there are some sharp rocks/shells)

Room: we found some rolled up tissues on the day we came under the sofa bed, we kept an eye on it and noticed that it was never cleaned in the subsequent days. Since it was beyond our kids reach, we didn’t have the energy to bother about it. Beach: did not appear to have an option to order drinks or food to the beach. It’s abit of a climb so not easy to just go grab something. Pool: there was also a shallow pool for your babies. Wish there was a little more shade option in the main pool. Food: room service options were not great and incredibly over priced.
