Very clean. The staff speaks English very well. Breakfast was good. On-line check in procedure was interesting. If you are traveling for business, you can fill in all the info. Invoice will be waiting for you when you arrive.
During the remote self check-in procedure I was transferred to a third party web site in order to fill in my personal info and my credit card data. I was hesitant about credit card and I skipped that step. It was not mandatory, you can use your card to pay on site when you arrive.

Breakfastbuffet is good, room was huge and was actually small appartement with kitchen, separate living room. There is a popular Brauhaus restaurant just next to it in same street with good food (German regional options). Area is relative quiet for a city, lots of offices in de area so quiet at night.
Check in of guests by reception took staff a long time, which caused a cue and a long check in time (seemed if they had to pick a hotel room on the spot). In the room there was only one main (big) light to switch on, not verry cosy. Kitchen is there but does not contain pots and panns, only 2 knives, 2 cups etc. There is a coffee machine but only 2 pads, no cream. No airco. Curtain ripped. Stand-by light of TV in bedroom creates some light at dark (we covered it with a shirt to darken)

The room is spacious and clean. The mattress was comfortable, and I had a good sleep. My room was located on the fifth floor, and I was greeted by finces in front of my window every morning - defiantly a cute bonus 🌄🐦🐦 The location is good - A bus stop for Line 62 (which brings you into the city) is right in front of the hotel, but you can also easily walk to the city center. Also, the main train station is in walkable distance (~20min). Since its advertised on their Website, I ate at the german restaurant in front of the hotel and think it's good. The prices should vary between 25-35 Euro per person (incl. a drink). Finally, a small hint: the hotels name include "Altstadt" which means old City, but the hotel itself is not located in the historic part of Dresden... But it doesn't take long to get there. That's said I had a good stay and would come back again!
One wall wasn't very sound isolated. The first night, I could very clearly hear that the guest in the neighboring room vomited for about 20 minutes. She wasn't alone because I also could hear another guest talking to her while she was vomiting. I am not sure if this goes for all rooms, but depending on what you plan to do, it's good to try to be silent to keep your business private. However, the other days, I didn't hear anything, and if you spend the whole day exploring Dresden, you will fall right into sleep no matter what (at least in my case)!

The environment was cozy, it was clean and spacious, and it made us not feel on top of each other. Great location, as we could walk everywhere since it was so closely located to the station but also to the city centre. Nice restaurant right on the doorstep (they had very nice beers in the menu). There is also a supermarket a few minutes down the road (we like to have snacks when exploring a city, just in case), and very close by a patisserie and a great kebab.
Mattress was too soft, I prefer to sleep on a more firm surface.

Very nice hotel at strategic place close to train station. We had the apartment with kitchinette and 2 adults and 2 kids had enough room for short stay. The bed was comfy, fridge was really powerful so it made ice even though we had to turn it on and the soundproofing was good enough. Garage parking was for free with large places and the breakfast was also pretty good with not that many choices, but still diverse enough that everyone was happy.
The kitchinnete had very little equipment, but apprently the service desk could provide more if needed. Pillows were not our type, way too soft, like they were not there. The room git a bit warmer and when we opened the windows for the night, there was quite a lot of noise from the streets.

My room was clean and quiet. Services are basic but functional. Good for a quick stop if working in the area. Overall, the area is a bit peripheral but with services nearby (Lidl and Aldi at walking distance, a beer-house just in front).
The room are functional to the bare minimum. No A/C, no fridge in the room. Bed was okay but not super comfortable. WiFi connection was very spotty. The guy at check-in explained me everything in fast-speaking German (I thought it was evident that my German was not that good, but I'll take it as a compliment).

Really good value, 30min walk to the centre or bus + 16min walk. Bus stop is right at the hotel. Very nice room, comfortable bed, free parking.
The air-ventilation was kind of loud. And the sound can be heard non-stop. Tv supports screen sharing however it does not work and there is no other option to watch streaming content on TV, bring your own device 🙂. This is unlucky as the screen is pretty big. My room was not cleaned through my 4 day stay. Not problem for me, but good to know.

Excellent rich breakfast on the weekend until 11.00. We had an apartment with a separate bedroom, but we did not use the cooking facilities. Even if the street is pretty busy, the closed windows isolate the noise very well. The advantage is free parking in the garage. Location 15 minutes free walk from the center, where the most important sights and the possibility of shopping are located.
perhaps only the pillows could be bigger.

The rooms were clean, there was an elevator and a parking garage, the rooms were well equipped and the bed was cozy, the personnel was very friendly, there was a small desk for working and a TV for leisure
There was no water cooker in the room (no chance of quickly making a coffee or tea in the morning) and the possible breakfast was way too expensive (18 € per person per morning). The location was good for having business at or around the university, but for seeing the old city centre it was rather far away.

I was already here three times, so I knew what to expect. It is a clean hotel, the price is cheap for Dresden and it works decently enough if you have some professional activities in the area like I did.
No AC in the rooms, just a fan. Even though it's probably needed only from July till mid August. The area is a bit in the middle of nowhere, it works well to reach the bus station if you connect via Flixbus.
