The Location is nice, near the Metro and easy to get to IFEMA from Conde de Casal, also to Sol etc. Near the Parque de El Retiro, less than 15 minutes' walk. The Breakfast is very nice and the staff are so kind. I liked French omelette. The room is clean and spacious with bath tub. The water pressure is enough. Fascinating elevator. The bar is nice, and chicken poke bowl was good. Gracias por todo!

If the breakfast has more vegetable and fresh yogurt, it will be perfect! It is not shopping area and there are not so much restaurants around there. The bar's chicken poke bowl was so nice, but the grilled chicken by the room service was awful, too hard. There was no complimentary water in the room, neither slippers.

The hotel staff were fabulous. All very naturally friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and with very comfortable beds. Nespresso machine in the rooms is always a great idea too! The lift system was perfect as we never waited for too long. The breakfast was excellent - with a good choice and the best idea was offering it until 11am. Also the location was great for us, just outside the centre but near enough to walk to Retiro Park & botanical gardens. The airport transfer took only 20minutes and the Atocha train station only 10 mins by taxi was perfect too.

The only suggestion could be that for New Years Day breakfast - add something a little bit special to impress/ for the guests to remember that day! Many New Year stays we were offered a champagne breakfast...just an idea!

The hotel was lovely, rooms were spacious and clean with comfy beds and a coffee machine was a bonus. We loved the pool and the terrace. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The location worked for us, about 25 mins walk from Park Retiro, there are a couple of bus stops just outside (watch out for the weekend bus routes, as these seem to vary slightly to the weekdays). Metro 6 is just across the roundabout, 1 about 10 min walk. We used Uber from the airport but went back by metro, which was about 45 min and really straightforward. We used the family card for travel (5 of us), it cost €2.50 and then you pay €6.10 to top up with 10 journeys, so a great deal. We walked a lot, so this was perfect. There is a €3 surcharge to travel to the airport, which can be purchased before exiting at the terminals. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again.

The only thing to mention is the lack of breakfast options if you don't want to spend €20 a head (kids eat free). The menu seems to list smaller breakfast items such as coffee & a pastry, but we were told these were not available. There is a fabulous Venezuelan cafe just down the road (Café Sitio) and we also ate at Rodilla. Both do great breakfast and have a brilliant service.

Hotel was very modern, clean, lovely staff and wonderful pool terrace with a jacuzzi pool and welcome shade area. Sun loungers were really comfortable. Excellent, extensive and well equipped gym. Bathroom was spacious and modern. Good size fridge in the room which we used as a cooler for other drinks/snacks. Beds really comfy. Good sized TV which was particularly good for watching the Olympics.

Room could have been a little bit bigger for three of us. More shower products for showering, washing, hair and body.

I booked for my daughter. She said it was nice and centrally located.

I booked through this app but I actually also called the hotel directly and made it clear that the credit card I used to make the reservation was to be charged for the entire stay. Yet when my daughter went to check out they said they couldn’t use that card and she needed to use her own. Of course she was able to pay the bill and leave but I had specifically spoke to someone regarding the matter.

This is the first time we had visited Madrid and we wanted a good hotel with parking in a relative central area. Also as it was my 70th birthday on the Sunday I wanted a good hotel, in a good location & with excellent facilities. The Hotel Claridge fulfilled these requirements and even surpassed them, our room was on the 10th floor and very quite and extremely well decorated, We visited the Cafeteria and Restaurant and had excellently prepared food at a reasonable price served by very friendly & helpful staff, overall a very good experience and would highly recommend the Hotel Claridge.

Access to the hotel from the car-park was a little poor as due to building work the internal hotel lift was out of commission as we had to walk from outside and the rain/wind was very bad at the time. The work was finished when we checked out & we used the internal hotel lift OK.

Everything met expectations without excelling. Day trips use the Claridge as the starting point so that eliminated the hassle of getting to a meeting point elsewhere on time - which is why we chose it.

I did not realise in advance that the hotel catered for large tour parties. Breakfast for individual guests was delayed to serve the tours first and when we went down early it was crowded. We were given a table in a reserved area but still had to share the buffet with the crowd.

Hotel was in a good location close to where my daughter and grandchildren live, which was the purpose of our visit. Room was nice and quiet up on floor 8 which I requested and breakfast was quite good. Staff were helpful and got a taxi for airport when we left yesterday afternoon.

That Booking.com promised me a free taxi to hotel from airport and back which didn't happen! We had to pay £30 each way.

Lovely decor, clean & quiet room, great location nr the Metro & only 2 stops to the Wizink center & Atocha . Staff very helpful. Nice to have coffee making facilities in the room.

No mirror in bedroom, only bathroom Uncomfortable & strange Half sized pillow Breakfast choice was good but eggs were cold & congealed ( asked for freshly cooked ones & got them in the end), a lot of the bread was dry . Another English tv channel besides the news please 🙏
