Excellent service, superb location, good breakfast.

Room with park view was quite small even though we paid for an upgrade suggested by the staff for a bigger room. We booked two months in advance thinking that there might not be availability later but turns out we paid around 100 or more per night than we would if we had just showed up and asked for a room. This was true across hotels in the area of similar quality. Based on this experience I will be very skeptical on booking accommodations in advance in this area or via booking website.

The hotel is located in a good area, it is just across the street from the Botanical Gardens and the Prado. It is very clean and all the staff are great. Breakfast was excellent. We had a balcony in our room which was nice to be able to look out at the Botanical gardens and the different buildings nearby.

It is on a very busy street so there is noise from traffic and emergency services sirens, BUT once we closed the balcony door we could hardly hear any of it. The bed was comfortable but if one of us turned over, the other one bounced!

The location was excellent and the room had a lovely roof terrace.

A little coffee maker would have been nice in the room but not a major problem. The weather in Madrid 😂it was cold

The breakfast was superb with fresh cooked items and loads of choice. Lovely fresh fruit and choices of breads and pastries. The staff were all very friendly and helpful especially Paco in the restaurant. We also used the restaurant for lunch on some of the days which was very nice. The hotel is directly opposite the Botanical Gardens and the main park which are both lovely to walk around and it is also close to the Prada museum. Lots of shops and restaurants are within walking distance. An ideal hotel for city breaks.

Excellent location! The hotel is just a five-minute walk from the train terminal, making it incredibly convenient. There's also a bus stop right in front of the hotel. The on-site restaurant is fantastic, offering a delicious breakfast with an impressive variety of options. The staff continuously replenish the buffet, ensuring everything is fresh and available. They also have four or five coffee machines, allowing you to prepare your coffee just the way you like it—and enjoy as many cups as you want! I also had dinner at a different restaurant within the hotel, and it was equally impressive. The food was flavorful, and the wine selection was excellent, making for a truly enjoyable dining experience

Hotel in great location, with nice views to the park and Atocha station. Metro station and museums in just a small distance. Staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing with a great variety of pastry and fruits. Everything was really so tasty! The breakfast area was very clean and staff took always great care of everyone. The restaurant of the hotel was also very nice and the food was great. In the bathroom they provide a very nice hair-dryer, and it is rare to find a good one in hotels. Also, right next to the hotel there are so many options for drinks and food.

The room we stayed was not very big, with a quite small wardrobe. It may be good enough for business trips or for a few days stay, but for longer stay it may be not very comfortable. For us wasn’t a big deal though. In the first days of our stay the room didn’t come with blackout blinds, but in the last day it did.

For me, the location is perfect. Because it i so close to the train station.

I had two separate reservations on two different dates through booking.com. the first one the room was comfortable and larger. Then, in the second reservation (10 days later). The room was smaller. I asked the reception, why? she tole me that the first reservation was for the superior room and the second one was for the standard room. I checked my bookings on booking.com. I paid the price for both reservations. Why I got two different level of rooms? I didn't ague with her, but very unhappy and didn't think she was correct. I must say that she was nice and not mean.

Location was on the main road near Atocha train station and near the Prado and other art galleries, parks, and cafes. I upgraded to a superior room as the room I initially selected had no tea/coffee facilities. This also gave me a better view on a higher floor. Breakfast menu was varied with hot and cold options. Food was delicious. Room was spacious with a wardrobe, safe, desk, small tables and a luggage rack, & a TV. Bathroom with large shower, toilet and heated towel rail were very clean and spacious. A large mirror and long vanity just outside the bathroom would be great for a shared situation. Room service was prompt and the food and wine arrived at the correct temperatures.

The room was a little noisy from traffic even with the window shut and despite being on the 6th floor. The fine dining restaurant seemed to have a limited menu and wine list, especially wine by the glass. However to be fair I am not a regular patron of hotel restaurants so perhaps that is the norm.
