Very well located for first class museums in a neighborhood that is being transformed by tourism but still keeps the traditional local flavour. Our room was on the fifth floor of the building and was clean, noiseless and sunny in the morning. The room space was enough for 2 people to move around, although the decor was not to our taste; the bed was comfortable. Good links to public transport: bus, metro and Atocha train station where there is a stop for the express bus to/from the aiport also.

The safe in the room requires additional payment with coins and leaving the luggage with reception until your departure has an extra charge, but it is a better deal than the lockers that are sprouting in the neighborhood.

Clean, nice place, close to everything. Friendly and helpful staff.

The price as for a 2* hotel was way too expensive. + they charged extra money for holding the luggage, not like I didn't pay enough for the room already.

Take into account that Madrid is very expensive due to so much tourism that there are more and more Airbnbs and stays every day and all are expensive , this hotel for the price per night is not bad at all, it is small but it is in front of El prado near by gran via which makes it super well located, you have the Atocha station 4 minutes walk, the hotel is small but clean and remodeled, the rooms have their own remodeled bathroom with heater and blower. The bed was very comfortable I repeat quality price is super good because you don't have to stay in a shared hostel🤢 That's why I say it's not bad at all for the price, take into account that it is not a 4-star hotel, the lobby is small, nothing out of this world, but what matters are the rooms and visually the rooms look good you have TV , the hotel is clean and the rooms are clean. They are just a little small but keep in mind that everything in Europe is small when it comes to hotels

A Spanish men in reception was quite rude when he attended to me but then I remembered that in Madrid everyone is rude and it got over my head😅

Walking distance to Prado and central train station. Half the price of any hotel in the area.

Nothing I didn't like. It is an updated old hotel. The room was very small, fitting just the bed and a small area around the bed. However, as this was just a one-night stay and we were coming in from the central train station and flying home the next morning, the hotel was perfect. In addition, the rooms were clean and the bed comfortable. Surprisingly, the area had many wonderful tapas, bars, and restaurants within walking distance. Also, it was quiet.

The hotel is in an excellent location, very close to the art galleries and also the Writers quarter for good bars and restaurants. Was clean, 24 hour desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Liked the quirky decor, we had a Star Wars theme room?! Lifts to all floors.

Room was slightly on the small side and maybe a bit expensive for what you get. Although I guess you're paying for the location. Room had a kettle and mugs, but no tea or coffee to go in them.

Excellent location and value for one night stay before returning to the states. I’d even recommend for multiple nights if your goal is to get and explore Madrid. Clean and comfortable bed. AC was also very good, especially in summer heat.

Coffee service would be nice. Tea kettle and fridge were good to have in room. However, no coffee maker.

Great location, really near to lots of bars and restaurants. Our rooms faced away from the street so we didn't have noise issues. It seemed good value compared to other hotels in the area. Everything was clean.

All the Avengers themed decoration in one of the rooms was a bit odd! The shower was too short for me. It would have been nice to have some tea or coffee as well as the kettle, and for the mugs to have been replaced once used.

The hotel is conveniently located in an area full of nice restaurants and right by the Prado Museum, Retiro Park and close to the Atocha station. The staff was very nice and helpful and the rooms were very comfortable. Our rooms was The Avengers themed for some reason, which was very funny. Tip: there is a free bus line called 001 with stops very close to the hotel, do take advantage of that.

Lovely quiet location but still close to the centre. Rooms were clean and although budget, had everything we needed - even a large fridge in one of our two rooms. Shower gel provided and rooms made up daily. Leaving keys at reception when going out required but not an issue - staff (owners?) very friendly and always have keys immediately ready as soon as you come back. Has a lift.

Rooms weren’t super soundproof but not a massive issue if you aren’t a light sleeper. Woken up a few times by people returning to rooms and chatting in rooms.

Excellent location, comfortable bed, clean, 24h reception, helpful staff, parking on site, supermarket very close. Excellent budget option in this area. I would definitely come back. Great overnight stay

The room is on the smaller size and sometimes you can hear the neighbour taking shower but this is a budget option so manage your expectations. But overall great option - other hotels in this area are twice as much.
