Amazing location, with small balcony overlooking main pool and pool bar. Short walk to pool entrance with plenty of sun lounges and food and drinks available at pool bar. Close also to walkway to beach. Studio was clean, huge bathroom with spa bath, plenty of towels, coffee machine with pods supplied, some drawers and hanging space with hangers for clothing.

This studio has a small 'kitchen space' with crockery, cutlery, toaster, microwave but no sink. Unfortunately, you will need to wash any dirty dishes in the bathroom sink and refill drinking bottles in bathroom. Consider bringing spring water or refilling water at the pool bar.

The swim out pool apartment was so convenient for us as a family. The kids loved it! It was a very comfortable stay. We were provided with enough linen, as well as dishwasher pods, washing machine liquid etc. The apartment was spacious and came with everything we needed for our stay. Bathrooms were clean.

I do think that toilet rolls are a necessity and should be supplied continuously. One or two supply and then having to buy them, when you simply can’t go without is a basic human right. Shampoo, soap etc should be supplied once and then the customer replenish definitely, but toilet rolls I think are completely different. Also, I really don’t think the floor has been mopped/cleaned in quite awhile. It was really quite filthy to be honest.

Gorgeous location. Swim out pool and resort are amazing. Apartment falls short of expectation for price but is still very nice.

The apartment itself needs some maintenance e.g the sliding door to the master bedroom is faulty and very difficult to close, and the oven dials are all faded off so you can’t tell what temperature to use to cook, the microwave is outdated and very confusing on how to use. For the price of the accommodation I think these things should be fixed. I was also charged incorrectly for a high chair which required multiple attempts to communicate this to the host before they accepted the error and arranged reimbursement - although once they realised they were very apologetic and immediately arranged the refund.

The apartment was lovely and well worth the money to stay in a pool access room, it was so much easier with the kids having the pool right there. The room had beautiful afternoon sun on the lounges and was also close to the spa and main pool. Make sure you get a north facing room. The apartment itself was really nice with a fully stocked laundry and a dishwasher. The beach nearby was quiet and beautiful for walks. The breakfast buffet was delicious (but expensive)

The location, although close to a beautiful beach, it’s a 10min drive from town. We knew this and hired a car so it was fine for us but you either need a car or use the hotel shuttles (I think $15pp return) to get into town.

We had the most wonderful stay at apartment 185 and will definitely be back. The apartment is spacious, beautifully presented, and offers plenty of room to relax and unwind. Having direct swim-out access was fantastic. The water outside the room is deep, which we loved! While the pool does get busier in the afternoons, it’s perfect for families, and our children had a great time. The beds deserve a special mention. They are the most comfortable we have ever slept in while away, and made such a difference to our holiday, allowing us to truly rest and recharge. The apartment is very well-equipped with everything you could possibly need to prepare meals, including thoughtful touches like tupperware containers, which came in so handy for day trips and packing snacks for the kids. We can't wait to return to this beautiful resort!

The apartment was fantastic, with two bedrooms a comfortable kitchen, laundry, and lounge area. It was clean and very well thought out (user friendly). There was even a balcony that we could lounge on and upstairs access to a BBQ area and spa that you only share with the apartments in your block, not all the guests of the resort. It was nice having access to all the resort amenities, including the pools and gym. If you're into Spa treatments, the spa centre near the main reception is something you should check out. It smells amazing and the spa therapists there are fanstastic.

The only way this could be better would be for it to be located on Macrossan St (the main high street of Port Douglas), but it's only a 5 min drive and there is a car garage included in the stay. Worth having a car for convenience and also sight seeing.

Fantastic stay at the Sea Temple. Could not fault anything. Room was big and comfy, very clean and had everything we needed. The rooftop balcony with the spa and bbq was such a great bonus that we got to use in the evenings. Juanita was great to communicate with, she booked our shuttle bus from the airport to the resort which was very convenient for us as we were travelling with a toddler. The resort is located about 8 minutes from town with the shuttle bus which is superb. I highly recommend staying at the sea temple. If we return to Port Douglas in the future we will definitely be staying here again.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom swimout with two young children. The main feature of our room was that you could swim out from your balcony right into the pool. We found the swimout to offer a wonderfully relaxing holiday for the whole family as we were able to supervise their swimming from the comfort of our private patio area. The decor of the resort was tasteful and our room and was spotless in its cleanliness and general upkeep. The landscaping and grounds were first rate. The resort has direct access to the beach and it is a beautiful place to walk in the morning or evening. We hired a car in Cairns and I was very pleased to have the independence that this afforded in getting around Port Douglas. Overall, a wonderful resort, which I would not hesitate to recommend.

Lovely large apartment, very clean and plenty of kitchen items/cleaning supplies provided. Great pool area and pool bar.

The car parking situation is not sufficient. The car space is supposed to be specifically allocated to this apartment, but apparently others can also park in it? This often left us without a car park as visitors spots were also all taken. Slightly annoying for the amount we paid for this apartment. Also, only 1 hand towel is provided for 2 people (each bedroom). I have never been to a luxury apartment that doesn’t provide a hand towel for each person. Lastly, whilst the resort is lovely, there is only 1 restaurant option for dinner and unfortunately it’s not super close to the main strip where cafes/bars/restaurants are located (approx 8 min drive).

The property was lovely, clean, spacious and comfortable. A really nice view of the pool and garden areas.

Communication from owner/property manager was tricky and not very efficient. There were times at the beginning of our stay and the end of our stay where we weren’t sure what to do with our luggage prior to check in and after check out. There also wasn’t enough toiletries, tea bags etc for us staying for the week.
