Really enjoyed my stay here, for the welcoming staff, the large and comfortable room and bathroom, a great location for the beach and delicious breakfast. The room and bathroom were spotless. The cold drinking water on tap in the reception was a nice touch, as was the complimentary use of large beach towels and basket. The room had an air conditioner which was very welcome. Would definitely stay again.

Rooms on the second floor are reached by a fairly narrow staircase which could be an issue if you have heavy bags, although this wasn’t an issue for me. There was no remote control for the air conditioner in the room but this wasn’t too big a deal as I was able to switch it on/off manually.

Room is clean. The hostess is warm, friendly, very nice and waited for my arrival to introduce me all the provided facilities such as drinking water and blankets in the reception room, tea bags, coffee and cocoa powder in the kitchen, seats in the beautiful balcony, even the special sailing tournaments going on in the nearby beach. The hotel isn't far away from public transportations and is super near (only 5 minutes walk) to the nearby beach. Breakfast is convenient, tasty and special. I also met other roomers accidentally in the balcony and we had a really great conversation. When I encountered a payment issue, the hostess was very patient and helped me try many solutions and we solved the issue eventually.

Beautiful stay at Hostal Pobelnou. I loved this accommodation. Great location, super friendly and helpful staff. Next to one of my favorite restaurants in Barcelona, Blu Bar. The hostal is a calm, quiet environment. The neighborhood is a vibrant celebration on the weekend. Comfy bed, really nice shower, quiet yet poweful a/c. The terrace was a dream, so delightful having coffee outside each morning. The sweetest cat came and joined me for my coffee.

Just in general the rising prices of staying in Barcelona, this was surprisingly one of the more affordable options. But I understand. <3

Really enjoyed my stay there, friendly kind helpful staff, the whole place is very cozy with unlimited homemade lemonade and coffee and cold water, really nice breakfast and terrace, such a lovely place❤️the shower pressure was good, comfortable bed and Netflix! there was a common fridge and microwave available, I can say that everything was thoughtfully made and designed for guests. The beach is 5 minutes away! Thank you for amazing experience🫶

Very stylish B&B in a beautiful historical building. Everyone who works there was super nice and such amazing people. The room was just like they show in photos. Absolutely lovely. Cleaning was everyday and the room was kept spotless. In the common room you have an access to coffee and home-made lemonade, to my opinion the best coffee in whole Barcelona and I could never have enough of the lemonade as well. So refreshing. For breakfast, 10 euro, make sure you try their caramel pancakes and the avocado toast. 🙂 I have stayed for 8 nights, to attend a course at the university and be able to enjoy the seaside in the evenings. Great connections to the city with Metro line or bus, no problems commuting. Plus evenings enjoying the sea and Rambla del Poblenou. Wifi connection was fast, no problems using my laptop for studies.

A bit noisy from the street but they were so kind to provide me earplugs for free! And despite the little noise, I would probably book again this place for the next stay.

Beautiful bed and breakfast, very convenient location 5 min to the beach, 5 min to bus station, many restaurants and shops closeby. The staff was very kind and helpful, they provide beach towels as well

The hostal is a great place! We loved everything about it- it is full of nice thoughtful details and it is super cozy. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The hosts were super friendly and nice, they attended everything we asked them and more :) The neighbourhood is a bit outside the center itself but we loved that because it is super calm and nice! It had lovely bars and restaurants with decent prices, it is 5 mins away from the beach and metro takes you to the top center in 10mins, so for us the location was perfect!

The only thing that could be disturbing in the mornings are the thin walls because you hear everything but since I have lived in Spain I can assure that is a totally Spanish thing and will happen everywhere :) it was not a problem from the hostal itself :)

Very clean room, with excellent bathroom/shower area. The hostel is generally extremely careful of little details and creates a feeling of staying at home. Breakfasts are gorgeous. Location is perfect for enjoying the Poblenou area, and the beach. Personnel is super gentle, nice and helping, reflecting the magic atmosphere of the hostel.

We liked everything but particularly the way the staff make you feel at home and welcome. They also have lovely small terrace from where you can enjoy amazing breakfast prepared with love and care and freshly made every morning by an extremely kind and skilled lady. Also the location is really convenient. It is very close to the beach and ten minutes walk to the subway.

My friend and I loved our stay at Hostal Poblenou. Mercedes and Anna were so warm and welcoming. They were also so helpful whenever we needed anything! Thank you. We really liked the room. It was quite spacious and the beds were very comfortable. We really liked the communal areas too, especially that sun terrace for enjoying some food and the complimentary coffee! We loved the Poblenou area as it had lots of food & drink options, and it was really nice to walk around. We both like walking so we walked to see the Sagrada Familia and other attractions in the centre, but Hostal Poblenou is well-connected by public transport if you prefer not to walk. Also, the beach is easily within walking distance.
