Nice location along the Rhine. Easy to walk along the river although wished we could have stayed longer to explore more.

Only issue we had was the train track directly behind the hotel. From our room you could feel and hear the trains when they passed.

The room was really lovely and we had a gorgeous view of the Rhine. The bed was comfortable and the air con worked perfectly. There were two cartons of water in the fridge which were welcomed. All of the staff were really lovely and made us feel really welcome. The hotel is a bit difficult to find but car parking plentiful. Their steak was amazing but maybe a bit pricey. There is a ferry just down from the hotel who charge 2.50 euros. We were lucky enough to visit when the Koblenz food festival was on (6th to 8th Jun). Would definitely stay here again and already recommend. I do agree that we didn't know that breakfast wasn't included, this should be made clearer.

All the rooms fact the Reine river. They had great views. The bathroom had a double sink which made it easier to prepare in the morning. The breakfast was very good and had plenty of food. We enjoyed our stay very much. Breakfast was included the price of the room. There was a nice walkway along the river in front of the hotel.

The hotel was difficult to navigate to get to the entrance along the roads. It wasn't very easy. We didn't use the pool or sauna, but I don't know that we would have been able to find them. The shower got water everywhere. They did a great job in having one installed but it was a little awkward.

On the river overlooking Koblenz not IN it. Had breakfast overlooking river. Had dinner inside and then moved outside for drink afterwards . Didn’t get to use pool etc but bought a pair of earrings out of jewellery cabinet reasonably priced. Found lovely wine at dinner. A Nahe wine Blanc de noir . White wine with pink tinge , grown from red grapes not quite a rose . Later visited the vineyard in Germany and bought a dozen bottles. Nice!

Limited Parking but free. (Parking was a little tight as wedding during day but managed. )

the check in with a arrogant staff member. The way to find this hotel for the first time is very complicated mainly because they give the wrong adres. When you want to arrive a bit earlier you pay 10 euro per hour more while the hotel is almost empty??When you want to go to the sauna in the extra hours you paid you pay extra for the sauna as well. It seems that paper is expensive because the staff gives me the adres I HAD to use to find them. This adres is right now not on Booking.com

good size room. location is great, staff well trained and polite efficient. rooms overlook the river and from the river one can go across to Koblenz by ferry. parking is what we needed.. the place is next to a train track - but didnt affect us - it was fairly quiet. we had great sleep. one can walk easily to Lidl from the carpark underground path - just 8 min away .

no coffee making facility ie kettle. no safe in the room. rooms was not on level ground .. there was a few steps to get yr luggage across. other itwas great

The view was wonderful, looking over the Rhine. We arrived late bu the restaurant still accommodated us and the food was lovely. This is a nice hotel and with a bit of effort and extra expenditure to upgrade it a bit it could be exceptional, but overall it was very good value for money and we were very happy with our stay there.

The approach to it is interesting but once you are there is it fine. It's close to the railway but the trains are almost silent so don't let this put you off as it is a really nice hotel.

Excellent view from room over River Rhine. Little or no noise from adjacent rail line. Good breakfast. Ample free parking on site

Hotel is on other bank of Rhine to City. Last time we stayed there was a passenger ferry all day every day from just in front of Hotel from 09:30 - 18:30. This stay discovered ferry only ran on Fri, Sat & Sun. Ended up having to take extended walk due to bridge rebuilding works to city. Taxi back in evening was reasonable.

We had a great view of the river from our room, the air conditioning was so pleasant, specially when it was about 33 degrees outside. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Everyone spoke English. The location was perfect for us, close to the fortress where we went on a concert. Parking lots were right next to the hotel. They have a swimming pool that is always nice. And the breakfast was delicious much to choose from. They also have a coffee bar. We sat outside on the deck overlooking the river, it was lovely. This hotel has everything we wanted. We will stay here again.

We don’t like the window in to the bathroom but there was a possibility to blindfold it. And we are not a fan of carpets on the floor.

We had an excellent 5 nights at Diehls. Staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout. Our balcony room was spacious and very comfortable. Very good buffet breakfast. Although it’s on the opposite side of the Rhein from the main town, ask the staff about the ferry, local trains and buses. Once you know, it’s easy to get to main locations. We enjoyed dinner on two nights although the menu is a bit limited.

The dining room menu didn’t quite live up to the standard of the rest of the hotel. It was ok but limited choice,especially if you didn’t want meat. To be honest, the menu lacks any imagination. We ate in 2 nights out of 5 which was enough. Service varied depending on who was on and if anyone was in charge.
