I can’t recommend this hotel enough. We recently spent eight nights here and we’re already planning our next stay! The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, the location is perfect (smack in the middle of Leonidio but quiet and peaceful) and the breakfasts are absolutely fantastic. Every morning delicious new home cooked sweet treats awaited us (there are also plenty of tasty savoury options too). However, what really makes this hotel are the staff. They go out of their way to make sure your every need is met and they genuinely care that every guest is having a wonderful time. Lena, the manager is kind and considerate and took every opportunity to check in with us to see if we were enjoying our stay, making suggestions for places to visit and remembering our coffee order every morning. This is a truly special place that will always have a place in our hearts.

Archontiko Chioti is a wonderfully restored family home adapted for hotel use. The rooms are beautifully arranged and well equipped. Each one has its own character. I love the stone walls and treasures of times past. There are many secluded spots where we could sit and read in perfect peace. The gardens are magnificent, full of brightly coloured Mediterranean flowers, bougainvillea, oleander, magnolia, hibiscus. The welcome was exceptionally friendly and all the staff were amazingly interested in hearing about the reason for our visit - to see our son, who is a climber and lives in Leonidio. The breakfasts are superbly presented and freshly cooked. All the food is homemade and delicious. There is no need to eat anything else until the evening. Archontiko Chioti is well situated in the middle of Leonidio, close to the restaurants and the main street with good access to the surrounding rocks and beach. We highly recommend Archontiko Chioti and we are not surprised that our son has chosen to live in Leonidio, a paradise.

It was perfect!

We loved everything about the property. My husband and I stayed for 4 nights in September. The rooms were so beautiful and clean and comfortable. Our room opened onto the lovely pool, so we could just step out and enjoy sitting by it in the evenings. Every morning we were treated to a delicious homemade breakfast of everything you could possibly want: yogurt, honey, jams, and egg dishes, cheeses, ham, bacon, fruit, many homemade cakes and breads. There were new selections every morning. And, of course coffee and orange juice. There was a lovely garden you could sit in. Most of all we loved the staff. In particular I love Lena, the wonderful manager. She is a very warm and caring person and so efficient and makes sure everyone is cared for and every need is met.

It’s many years since I last stayed at an ‘archontiko’ (previously in Pelion), and this one is lovely. My room was very quiet overlooking the garden and had a fridge and a kettle. The shower was great - plenty of hot water and good water pressure. The Korres shower gel/body lotion/shampoo and conditioner were a lovely touch that you find in the best hotels. The bed was so comfortable and the Guy Laroche bedding of course was exceptional! All the staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough for the guests. As mentioned by other reviewers, the breakfast is outstanding - home made delights such as cake, jams and marmalades and lovely fresh bread: And the filter coffee was just delicious. I would definitely recommend this property and hope to return one day. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Beautiful little hotel in an atmospheric Greek town. The staff were very hospitable and Lena ensured that we had everything we wanted, any time of the day. A truly professional operation. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and daily cleaning was perfect yet relaxed (staff adapted to us, rather than the other way round). Breakfast was excellent - scrumptious homemade egg dishes, fresh fruit and amazing pastries. The shady courtyard was a perfect place to start the day.

The personal welcome with a cool drink was the start of such kindness and professional service. We had stayed in January last year and returned because of the exceptional hospitality and facilities. The pool is beautiful and kept very clean and the many sitting out areas and garden are cool and pretty. The bed was very comfortable and everything worked well. Breakfast was delicious with homemade jams and cakes as well as a good range or savoury items. A truly wonderful place to stay!

We loved our stay at Archontiko Chioti! We came here for our anniversary and the staff surprised us with a special gift in their wellness spa. We felt at home the minute we arrived and were so pleased with the beautiful room and comfortable bed. The homemade breakfast buffet was incredible. We loved sitting outside poolside. We can’t recommend this place enough for your stay and will definitely be back again!

It was absolutely perfect!

Characterful property, nice pool, good breakfast, friendly and helpful staff (thank you Elena and Nikki!). The village is surrounded by steep hills and cliffs and is authentically Greek, with a small number of places for eating out. The Mitropolis taverna is in a nice setting and the local food is (mostly!) delicious. We arranged a wonderful massage by Mariana in the tiny spa at the hotel. Taxis can be arranged to visit the nearby small harbour & beach at Plaka, where there are a couple of tavernas for a nice evening.

Bathroom is a bit small, only little place to store things, and you have to move carefully not to tip/toss something over Location is in the center of the village so there is some noise at night, particularly motobikes

Our family had a very relaxing time here. The rooms were super clean and traditionally furnished. The owners pay attention to every detail. From the towels, toiletries, and ambience of the garden. The pool area is fantastic, and you have the view of the rocks behind. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. They make sure you have a comfortable and relaxing stay. They prepare breakfast every day with homemade pies. You can enjoy your breakfast inside or in the garden/pool area.
