The staff was accommodating. It was clean and breakfast was nice. The have a little area with most of the items you might need while traveling. Including snacks, drinks and a local ice cream.

I have "down alternative" in my Honors info, but I still received a room with down pillows. Unfortunately I am allergic. They replaced a few of the pillows and I put the down ones in the hallway and called them, but it still bothered my allergies the whole trip.

The breakfast and breakfast staff were excellent. The staff at breakfast went above and beyond to be helpful, friendly, and courteous. This positive impression left by the breakfast staff is a critical component to how guests feel overall about their stay. The breakfast selection is varied enough to meet the needs of our large family, including one member who requires gluten free options. That special diet family member eats from the choices of fresh fruit, gluten free boxed cereal, breakfast meat, fried potatoes, and juice. Two of my children and I personally love the make your own waffles the most. I also greatly aporeciate the always available onsite coffee.

Your retro colors and style choices for your renovation and new modern photos in the rooms seemingly replacing Valparaiso related photos make the rooms feel older, smaller, and less clean, instead of updated. We were staying this particular time for graduation weekend. The room was in the worst condition we have seen over the past four years. Your establishment would present a better impression by focusing on your location with in room photos of Valparaiso landmarks and Indiana Dunes related photos, blue and white colors not the harsh, stressful 60s oranges that have started to be more pervasive in your hotel color scheme. More people will feel relaxed with a blue color scheme than oranges, yellow, or greens.Additionally, the air conditioning is VERY loud.

Bright, modern, clean- very inviting! Lovely breakfast area and options. Convenient and quiet location. Front desk staff checked in with us daily via text to ensure we were happy with all the details.

Not one darn thing. We had a perfect 3 night stay over Christmas.

The staff were super nice and kind. They were helpful with directions and recommendations on places to eat. Rooms were clean, comfortably, good water pressure for showers. Breakfast was good with many options.

There was nothing about the hotel we did not like.

Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating! So many amenities provided (large containers of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion) Staff responded to requests politely and Immediately. (Towels & extra bedding to room) We LOVED Patrick in the kitchen, who made our breakfasts delicious and fun both mornings! This hotel was extremely clean, organized, and fresh. Loved all the little details. One of the BEST hotels I've stayed at in a ling time! <3

The breakfast was excellent and the hotel was clean and upgraded well. The breakfast attendant on Sunday was amazing and went above and beyond to accommodate me and my children. Very friendly and welcoming.

Better mattresses maybe? I would say they weren't awful, just could use an upgrade.

Cleanliness

The front staff would not give my husband a key and I made sure to add his name to the reservation and they even wrote his name down that he would be coming. He arrived hours before me and had to go wait in his truck until I arrived. I was very upset about this given the price I paid for the stay. Thank you for your time.

Great breakfast. Very clean and updated. Great option compared to alternatives in the area. We had a group with both gluten and dairy sensitivities and they were able to accommodate both with the breakfast options.

Still under construction but it didn’t bother us any. Stayed a Saturday night and besides seeing the equipment and work zone there was no disruption or noise.

It was no fault by anyone. Our numerous keys did not work when we got back from dinner. The maintenance guy came in and fixed it, so we could get in our room.

The sliding barn door for the bathroom was almost inoperable. We avoided closing the door completely because we could barely get out
