The D’Arcy suite was perfect, the decor was beautiful, the facilities were excellent, the whole apartment was immaculate. It really is special and so much more than we expected, it felt above and beyond anywhere else you could stay for the rates. We had an amazing time, we didn’t want to leave! The location was perfect as Maldon is a lovely town with loads of great places to eat and drink. Communication from the Staycation team was great, so helpful and felt like they cared that you have a great time which you can tell by the quality of the suite. Would love to stay here again in the future. Thank you so much!!

The accommodation was beautiful, very clean and full of character, which I liked. There was plenty of space, a sitting room, bathroom and a bedroom with a four poster bed. Everything was done to a high standard. Shannon, who I needed to liaise with was very nice, friendly and helpful. The location on the High Street was excellent, near the Moot Hall, bus stops and so perfect for accessing everything Maldon has to offer. It was around a 15 minute walk to Hythe Quay where the heritage barge trips go from.

The only downside to this property were the noise levels outside. In fairness there is a narrative about this on the booking.com website, especially about the bar/cafe opposite. There is a fair amount of traffic noise from the High Street immediately outside, and a loud clock chiming. The noise was worst on Saturday night; it wasn't so bad on Sunday night.

The apartment advertises itself as "individual" and it didn't disappoint. From the four-poster bed to the feature copper bathtub in the centre of the main room, everything about the apartment was stylish and inventive. Crockery and utensils were of the highest quality, and the room was impeccably clean.

The location on the High Street doesn't provide great views but the wonderful waterfront is only a short walk away. Parking is in a municipal car park at the back of the building, which is not ideal if you have multiple bags to bring in.

The accommodation was nice, very clean. Very comfortable bed, the decor was tasteful. The bath and shower were excellent (didnt want to get out of the shower. Shannon's communications were great, all details on how to get to the accommodation was perfect. The location is perfect, easy access to everything in Maldon. We would definitely consider booking again.

Not really anything I'd didn't like, a couple of small things to enhance the stay but all around nothing negative.

It was absolutely beautiful!! The decor and facilities were excellent and the location was perfect being right on top of the vibrant high street. We went to Deli & Fizz for lunch which was a 30 second walk from the apartment and Continental Cafe for brunch the next day which is just below the apartment. Thank you to Shannon the Manager who was on hand before our stay answering questions. You are a perfect host Shannon!!

There was nothing not to like!!!

The apartment is just awesome- an interior designer's dream! Could not fault. Absolutely stunning, wish we could afford to stay for the week - just awesome.

Not the fault of the owner, but the noise from the nightclub opposite was terrible. We spent a fortune on a day spa to relax and the room was lovely and relaxing but i ended wearing headphone awake until 2am because of the outside noise. A shame as an absolutely stunning apartment.

Superb service and a lovely apartment - so nice we relocated our Christmas celebrations and held them there instead. We needed a late checkout and that was really easily organised. The communication from Shannon was excellent and friendly and we had a delightful time.

The shower room is tiny and accessed off the bedroom - this probably isn't an issue if there are only two of you and it worked well.

Wonderful location in the middle of Maldon. We had a spacious suite with bedroom, lounge, kitchen, and roof terrace, but that doesn't do it justice. It's based in a 15th century inn, with period features retained, and the decor is done by someone with a real eye - a mix of antiques and modern, perfectly done and has an opulent but laid-back feel.

Super comfy and cosy apartment. Everything was lovely. Loved all of it, especially the bath, robes and slippers, and the mood lighting and TV that moves, so much nicer than a hotel! Didn't want to leave. The pictures are accurate, but much nicer in real life. My only regret is that I wish it was cheaper so we could stay longer, though worth every penny. Fully recommend.

It had been raining and we couldn't enjoy the outdoor terrace as the cushions were soaked. An outdoor storage unit to keep them in and keep them dry would be handy.

My first impression of the apartment was wow!!!!!! They had decorated it all Christmassy the fires were on the dining table all set for Christmas Thankyou x

My only criticism would be I thought I had the apartment with a bath I hate showers as have long curly hair so I always bath but maybe that’s my fault I should of stated this when booking
