We stayed at quite a few hotels in Kho Phi Phi from cheap to expensive. The pool access is amazing and makes you feel like you're stepping into paradise. The water is clean and the staff are very helpful. The location is great, being just off the ferry. Kho phi phi can be very noisy. However, this hotel was well placed, being just off the noisy bars. Breakfast was also great. I highly recommend using Kao for long tale boat trips. Used him twice and he is located just infront on the hotel on the beach. Boat number 1. Humble nice guy that will look after you well. Rooms are very clean, modern and have good space. The ground floor rooms all open onto the pools. One side gets morning sun and the other afternoon sun. They are all great.

Well, we did go to reception at 1am to say we can't sleep in our bed as it was too hard. We have stayed in many hotels in Thailand, and I know a lot of people complain about the beds being too hard. Normally, I don't. However, these beds are very hard. They were helpful and put two bed toppers over the mattress. This made the beds a lot more comfortable. If you're Western, we like softer beds. Asians like hard beds. If you prefer soft beds, definitely ask for bed toppers. Our friends did the same. They have plenty of them. I can't complain about anything else as we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Great location. Beautiful pool. One of the pools was heater. It was very nice. We had rooms with pool access directly from the room terrace. It was very nice and comfortable.

The humidity in the room. Perhaps a better air conditioner would reduce the humidity in the room. The mattresses aren't comfortable. They aren't soft. There was a huge cockroach on the pillow of the bed. The safes in the closet kept forgetting the code. I had to call the reception several times so that they open the safe (we slept in 2 rooms. Both safes were problematic). Eventually, I gave up on using the safe.

I’d read reviews before I booked a room in this hotel so didn’t expect much from breakfast but I was surprised that the breakfast was really good - everything was clean and fresh and tables are next to the beach in addition. Probably, the hotel management did a good job working with customer complaints about breakfast and really improved the service. 2. Best location as close to everything - pier, center, night life. Not ideal beach but for this we took a taxi boat on the pier ( 100 baht for person) and went to the Long Beach and Viking Beach, it will take around 5-10 mins. 3. Big size of the room. 4. Beds are really hard but as for me it’s more a benefit than a defect as it’s healthy for the back :)

The hotel is quite old and needs some improvements - worn grey towels and sunbeds near the pool.

The hotel is located in the narrowest part of the island, so if you want to be close to civilization, you will be happy with its location. We got a room on the ground floor, so we had a "private" exit to the pool, which was a really nice convenience. Breakfast was served in the building next door and met our expectations, especially the selection of fresh and tasty fruits. The staff was nice and helpful.

The hotel is clearly showing its age, so it could definitely do with some freshening up. I don't know if this applies to all rooms, but ours on the ground floor had a strong smell of damp and a slight mustiness. This makes it difficult for wet clothes to dry.

The location is excellent. The exit from the room to the swimming pool.

The salt water in the bath. The bed is hard and less comfortable. The dining room is located on the beach with a nice view, but lots of flies on all the food. They could have put fans or closed the dining room. It's really unpleasant to eat when you have to get rid of flies with every bite.

The hotel's location is perfect for a stay. While there may be cheaper options, they might have limited access to the main area by boat. I had some concerns after reading the reviews, but I didn't experience any issues with the bed or noise. The lighting in the room was a bit dim, but they provided two extra lamps. The swimming pool was deep and perfect for a swim—my son even learned deep-water swimming here, so a special thanks for that! In the afternoon, the beach is dry, but in the morning and late evening, the water comes right up to the hotel, and you can even spot fish while snorkeling. The breakfast viewpoint was absolutely stunning. There's a market nearby, and a couple of Indian restaurants within walking distance. The fire show was also just a short walk from the hotel’s pool area. The hotel is a bit older and lacks a smart TV, but these things hardly matter when you're in Phi Phi.

The location of the hotel is excellent - a three minute walk to the pier, a one minute walk to the beach, practically in the centre of the busy tourist area, and yet the whole thing is surprisingly quiet. The breakfast restaurant view is absolutely stunning, while the food itself isn't at all bad. We particularly enjoyed the omelettes. The ground floor room we had offered direct pool access which was very cool. The other pool has excellent beach views. The room itself is large, with an enormous double bed and a decently sized single bed. The shower cabin is huge.

The main thing that disturbed us was the sewage smell radiating more often than not from the bathroom to the whole room. The internet was unreliabale and unstable. The lighting in the bathroom was rather terrible and the whole unit lacked storing space, clothes and towel hangers and drying racks. The room access to the pool was rather challenging as there are only two sets of pool ladders for the whole floor.

if you want to be close to the harbour and have everything on your door step this property is ideal. staff all very helpful and pleasant

if you choose a pool access room, be aware it’s a bit tricky getting out the pool,back into your room , as there are no steps to help.

We love Phi Phi (myself and both grown up daughters) and our 4th visit. The location of PPHVH is great, only a 2 minute walk from the ferry terminal and stretches from Ton Sai Bay (ferry and tours pier) to Loh Dalum Beach where you swim and party. Was removed form the hustle and bustle of central Phi Phi town. A nice long pool runs down the middle and primarily accessed by the rooms onto it (and a small laneway halfway along), to a more open access polol area that fronts Loh Dalum Beach. The room was your standard Single and Double bed set up, regual size and amentities, so no problems there. Was overall a clean room and hotel, buitl in 2016, it is just starting to show some signs of wear, but still in good condition. The staff are awesome, I don't want to jinx myself, but we haven't really had a bad experience with Thai staff and here is no exception. Very warm and welcoming, the reception crew are great, cleaning staff - great, waiting staff - great, and special thanks to Prateep K. in the main foyer, great help and friendliness. They were very accomodating, we had booked 2 nights here, and when the other hptel we had booked on Eastern Phi Phi beaches suddenly closed down, I was able to book those 2 nights at PPHVH and they made sure to line us up in teh same room for both bookings, appreciate that. Breakfast buffet is good and a nice location (Anchor Restaurant) to eat from.

The main, open pool was heavily chlorinated at the time, but that may just have been that instance, and is about all I can complain about.

We liked that the nightlife was not too far from the hotel. We liked the concierge helping us book different activities

We just wished the pool stayed open later.
