Great location in a multi cultural, working-class area of eastern Oxford. Loads of amenities on the doorstep - several pubs, cafes, restaurants, and shops. Also, on the main bus route into the city and the London - Oxford flyer coach. Despite its location, however, it was quiet in my room. There is a small car park, with four spaces, at the rear and accessed under an archway. The access and manoeuvring may be a bit challenging with a large vehicle. My room was ideal for my overnight stay (football match at the Kassam stadium). Good price, too. Comfy bed, clean room, tea making facilities. The employee on the reception was friendly and helpful.

It's a bit dated, and the decor is dark. The carpets in the communal areas looked worn and in need of a clean, but this could possibly have been their dark beige colour.

I liked that this place was close to Oxford Brookes, local shops and on the Oxford Tube route. The staff were super friendly. When I came back after a long hot day it was nice to see that they'd put a fan in my room. I love the food in the restaurant downstairs.

The toilet seat in my bathroom was a little loose, but the manager had a look at it as soon as I reported it. Apart from that it was all lovely!

The owner(?) Was so welcoming and friendly. Such a nice man. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The mini fridge in the double room was a very nice surprise. As the hotel is on a high street, the location was excellent. Plenty of food places, takeways, shops and 2 pubs on the same road. I'll use the hotel again if I need to stay

The car park was a tight squeeze to get into with only 4 spaces. On a busier day or if you have a huge car it may be an issue but I parked ok on a Saturday afternoon. Again, the owner kindly offered help if i was struggling but luckily it was fine

A couple of local bars and a good selection of food nearby. Easy walk into city centre. (About 20 mins) It has room for about 6 cars so parking OK unless you arrive late.

Hard to find. Sat Nav took me right too it, but mistakenly thought pub next door was where I was heading, but realised when I had parked it was the wrong place. Directly outside the hotel, their is now a traffic light crossing, so you turn into the small covered entrance emediatly after the lights.

1. The hotel though is a budget one it is good. 2. Location is too good 3. Surroundings are excellent 4. Rooms though small for two but bathroom is private and clean 5. Good amount of storage facility is available 6. Kettle and coffee/tea packets with milk are available 7. Walkable distance to any location. 8. Brookes University is a mile within in. 9. Room is good and cozy 10. Indians will enjoy as good restaurants are around. 11. Overall it doesn't disappoint customers

Fridge in the room was a nice addition as it was so hot so we could have cool drinks. Bed was very clean and had a powerful fan which was helpful to cool us in 30 degree heat. Great location for where I needed to be. Overall, amazing value for what I paid!

TV was not great. Staff was not at reception when arrived and wasn’t clear how to contact so took some time to check in

Near to the Churchill hospital which was my reason for staying and was right next to a pub that served food the hotel also has an Indian restaurant, there was a garage opposite and a subways so very convenient. The room had a mini fridge that was really useful and all the normal amenities.

My room was facing the main road, so there were quite a few ambulances in the early evening and traffic, but it quietened down nicely at bedtime, and I slept well

I needed a room for the night due to a relative being in John Radcliffe Hospital. This was perfect in terms of location because it was less than 10 minutes walk from the hospital to Mount Pleasant Hotel. I can’t really comment on staff as my only interaction was a phone call after I booked, making sure I knew how to access the key to my room. The bed was really comfortable, the bathroom was clean and tidy, and there were tea/coffee making facilities in the room and towel, toiletries etc on the bed. There was a tv in my room.

I really couldn’t fault anything, but if I have to find something I’d say ideally I would have liked more milk portions (I like plenty of milk, so the four I’m my room were barely enough for two cups of tea, which stopped me having more than two hot drinks).

Location was fine, lots of shops nearby. It was really near where the London bus drops you off which was great. Near the Headington shark too which was a surprise and buses nearby to access city centre. You could see the Headington shark from our room which was fun! Nice and clean. Room was warm and quiet. Staff were pleasant and it was perfect for what we needed!

The bed was short even for me, I'm only 5ft 4. It also had some peculiar staining on the fabric of the bed frame. The fridge was beside my side of the bed and made quite loud rattling at night but when I put earplugs in it was okay. We were supplied with one big towel and a hand towel despite there being two guests but they did say we could ask for another one if we wanted. Oh also a small tip, I would really replace the shower curtain in the bathroom! It's a small cost but the one that's there currently is mildewy and has pink mould. It's a shame because overall it was clean but some small details let the room down.

The room was comfortable and had everything I needed for a two night stay. The staff were very friendly and let me leave my suitcase at reception until I finished my shift at the JR. I will be returning again for future trips. Subway and other restaurants opposite, as well as a restaurant downstairs.
