Breakfast was very good, tasty and plenty of choice. The room was okay, small and tired looking. Tv reception was awful, but wifi was great. Staff too caught up in their own things to pay much attention to guests in line. first impression was of not too safe, though I'm sure it is. I was expecting more form a Sun Hotel.

A five minute free hotel shuttle from airport. Preferred hotel for airline crew. Dinner in restaurant was either a la carte or buffet. We had the former, and it was very nice. Breakfast buffet was the usual big hotel style - plenty of choice with an egg cooked to order station.

Close to the airport and regular shuttle bus every 15 min. We were in a king superior room and it was large which is good when you have to share it with all your luggage. The bed and pillows were amazing after a month away sleeping on all sorts of arrangements, The rooms get noisy when people start to wake up and move around the hotel in rooms near by and corridors so take ear plugs if you really want peace to sleep in, We had the buffet dinner which was reasonably priced and lots of options and also the breakfast buffet was more than adequate. Not super extensive but you would not go away hungry and there is someone to cook your eggs how you choose. Coffee was good and plentiful.

Very good value for money, location is ideal for long connections or 1 night before early flight. Beds are very comfortable, matrases and bed linen are new and very good. Breakfast is more than perfect. Also they have a transfer to OR Tambo airport that operates every 15 minutes. I definately recommend this place, we stay 1 night before our trip to Mauritius and 1 night after our short trip in Johannesburg surroundings by car (before early flighr)

The hotel is quite old and "tired", so renovation is needed. But all negative leave behind the breakfast, location and the bed. :-)

The service at dinner was terrible. Someone sat us at a table for 4 which had obviously been occupied by one person eating a meal. She took the plate and fork but left the rest of that setting, which had food on it. No one spoke to us for 10-15 min. We hailed a waiter and asked for menus and for the setting to be changed. Two of the napkins had been used and were not replaced. We ordered drinks, which took 15-20 minutes to come. we ordered food which took 30-40 minutes to come. I found some napkins myself. The food was quite good. The place was full of families with small children (start of school holidays we though) which contributed to the poor service.

This hotel is fantastic if your landing in Or Tambo late at night and have an early morning domestic or international flight. There is a complimentary airport shuttle that runs every 15 minutes between the hotel and the bus terminal at the airport 24 hours a day. I landed at 22:00 and found the hotel shuttle easily and it only took 4 minutes to get to the hotel. The staff were very helpful with checking in. The dinner at the hotel was amazing. The rooms were very large and the bed was very comfortable and there is even a pool and a gym. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. My flight in the morning was at 08:00am so I woke up at 6:00 to have a great breakfast and then took the shuttle to the airport for my 8:00am flight to Durban.

Foe someone recovering from an overnight flight the essentials were perfect, great shower, comfortable bed and enough tea / coffee to make several drinks. The dinner and breakfast buffets were also great, the regular free transport to/from the airport made it a great choice. Internet was good too.

My only two slight criticisms were that there wasn't any introductory info in the hotel room so when I needed extra milk I had to find someone instead of using the phone, fortunately there was someone on the same floor who bought what I needed very quickly. At breakfast I was seated at a table next to the till desk and in front of the door to the garden so it felt rather hectic with staff communicating over my head and a a cool draft every few minutes. The restaurant wasn't busy so I would suggest that table is only used at busy times. It didnt spoil my breakfast though.

The location is perfect, especially that I wanted to be close to OR Tambo INTL airport as was flying out to UAE early morning, it was very convenient. Traffic in JHB airport route is generally hectic in the mornings. The staff is very welcoming and friendly.

When my family came to say their goodbye, I was asked to get to reception, and sign fir their visit permission, when asked why can't approve over the phone, receptionist said it's the hotel policy. That's very inconveniencing, especially that it's a big building to walk about.

Shuttle service from airport really easy and very frequent and helpful. stayed on 3 seperate days in between internal flights had the same room which was great and quiet. beds comfy and nice having coffee/tea in the room. Breakfast was great lots of choices and everyone cheerful and helpful. The one day we happened to arrive in early afternoon and they said at 5pm they were having a welcome drink and snacks in the foyer very good. would highly recommend this hotel for stopover and so easy for airport.

The check in seemed to be very slow maybe need a few more staff.

The shuttle driver was very professional getting us to the hotel quickly after our arrival. The size of our room was perfect for two people to have some space comfortably after being in airplanes for hours. The buffet meals in the restaurant had an amazing selection, were delicious, and very affordable. We arrived early in the day and enjoyed shopping in the gift shop, having a drink in the lounge, and a terrific lunch while we waited for our room to be ready.

After arriving at the airport, we had some difficulty locating where to find the shuttle to the hotel. A gentleman was kind enough to show us the way.
